  2. Ticket EWY-464VT has been updated by Andrew Barnes [staff].
  3.
  4. Hello,
  5.
  6. The mods will need to be updated manually when they are updated. Due to this, it is recommended that we explain how to install the mods rather than doing it for you. This way, you will be prepared when the mods require updating and you will not have to wait on us to update them.
  7.
  8. Step 1.) Subscribe to the workshop content and let the content download.
  9.
  10. Step 2.) On your computer, navigate to the \steam\steamapps\workshop\content directory (This is most commonly located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content on your computer). Here, you will notice a new folder has been created (usually begins with a 3). Inside here, you will find the newly created <ModID> directory.
  11.
  12. Step 3.) Login to the server's FTP via an FTP client and navigate to the /<ACCID>/arkse/ShooterGame/Content/Mods directory on the FTP. Take the <ModID> directory that is on your computer and drag it into this directory.
  13.
  14. Step 4.) Once the content is on the server's FTP, you will have to launch the Ark game. Once it is launched and you are on the main menu, you will notice a message on the bottom right of your screen. It will usually say "Installing x mods..." Simply let it complete.
  15.
  16. Step 5.) Now, you will have to navigate to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods directory on your computer. Once the game is launched and finishes downloading the mods, you will notice a <ModID>.mod file has been generated in this directory. This file is required to make the mods run. Take this file, and place it in the same /<ACCID>/arkse/ShooterGame/Content/Mods FTP directory as before.
  17.
  18. Step 6.) Now that the mods are present on the server's FTP, you will have to go to my.gameservers.com > Config > Server Command Line. Here, you will want to adjust the command line so that it has a "GameModIds=<ModId1>,<ModID2>,<ModID3>?" An example of what this would look like when completed is
  19.
  20. TheIsland?GameModIds=520879363,534838287?SessionName="GameServers.com"?
  21.
  22. It is highly recommended that you add the mods 1 at a time on the server's command line, as mods are very unstable at this time and can cause server crashes. It will help to find the mod that causes the crash.
  23.
  24. Regards,
