Stand Master: Vale Hannon

Born in the odd town of Morioh, Vale oddly doesn't have many memories of his childhood. Just before his adolescence, his family moved away from Morioh, and he would grow up to start a band and become a decently famous vocalist and guitarist- B-list, really. Anyone who's familiar with his band, Valley of Cake, knows that Vale isn't someone you want to get in the way-- he puts on quite the tough-guy, don't-mess-with-me act, and well.

In his private life, however, Vale is actually much less outspoken and blunt than his stage counterpart. While his tough act does hold some merit, and he can hold his own in a fight, and even throw a damn good punch, he hates being hit and knows when a conflict is too big for him, and avoids it.

Recently, Vale has returned to his hometown of Morioh, with much fanfare from his fans who are proud of their hometown for producing him. However, during the debut show of his return 'tour'(not really a tour as it was simply meant to be a series of shows in Juxtapose), he hurt himself badly on stage and had to be admitted to the hospital. It wasn't until leaving that he was struck by a strange arrow and discovered his Stand power as his Stand automatically awoke and used its first ability to protect him from an oncoming truck. Since then, he's decided to stay in Morioh and learn more about Stands, putting his career on hold.

「GOING THE DISTANCE」 is a humanoid stand which appears to be wearing gold and silver armor, with a leather fauld, and green arrows repeating on its body. Its head and 'helmet' are one, and it lacks a face, save for a normal humanoid mouth. Its body appears robotic, featuring visible ball joints and no visible musculature-- indeed, to the touch, it feels like metal, too, even underneath its 'armor', which is purely aesthetic and offers no actual protection.

Its first ability, 「THE DISTANCE」, is to create an infinite distance between itself and any other point within sight. Based on Zeno's second paradox. Basically, imagine say Josuke is trying to run right at him, presumably to punch him. He would always feel like he's moving and getting closer but he would just keep running forever and ever, not going anywhere-- it's like the infinite staircase from Mario 64.
Its second ability, 「GOT TO MOVE」, is to add or remove speed from anything it touches. So by adding a bunch of speed, it could fire a bullet just by touching it, or by removing speed it could allow its user to gently float down from what might otherwise be a deadly fall.
Its final ability, 「SHADOW STABBING」, allows it to add speed, and thus power, to its own attacks, effectively increasing its own destructive power by attacking at blinding speeds. 「SHADOW STABBING」 also allows it to take speed away from enemy attacks, but they must land for this to work.
