- Good evening, this is journalist Troy with tonight's news.
- The price on gasoline keeps skyrocketing across the region. This is in direct correlation to the strikes occuring at some of the supplying oil companies.
- Worst, it has been for the world leading "Going" company, where prices have risen as high as 35% during the last couple of days alone.
- However, experts believe that the prices will now level out, and while they will remain high for now we can be assured that they will not keep climbing.
- The public now appeals to the companies involved, to establish better working conditions for their employees and make the market return to normal as soon as possible.
- In a statement from the CEO of Going, Leonel Thompson, states that keeping the prices at their original rates would be "A crime against the economic market."
- A statement that has created wildfires in the media and close companies.
- Thompson ends his statement by saying that "for us at Going, our customers are what keeps us going and we will do everything in our power to solve this issue."
- People who bought into the "Keep Going" campaign have now sued the company for fraud, regarding their choice to impromptu shut down the campaign all together.
- "It' a shame, we're working extra hours just to make up for the losses. The campaign will resume once the situation has been resolved." Thompson says.
- A lot of people have opted to boycott the Going company all together, leading to even bigger losses than estimated.
- They're instead refueling at the smaller, family based companies like "Tosser" and "Gas".
- For now, it might be better for your wallet to take your bicycle where you need to go, until this storm has blown ower.
- This was the evening news with journalist Troy. Stay tuned for more information on this story as it gets uncovered.
