oh i thought of something else. you could have the corrupted human being have some sort of rusted metal arm, something that resembles some sort of mech arm

[11:07:48 PM] Koinig: and the center of the back of the hand could act like...a storage device to collect the remains of any defeated phantoms, and the physical representation of it could be a sort of white dust that gives off a white flame to have it represent souls
[11:09:22 PM] Koinig: and when you gather enough of this dust, you combine it with the evil alchemy of the diablos and then the dust goes back into the mech arm. all the corrupted humans keep a hold of whatever evil dust they collect over time, then when the time comes, several corrupted humans pool their dust together and they combine it with evil alchemy to make a stronger diablo

[11:12:10 PM] Koinig: this diablo has the added benefit of being able to use the weapons that only humans can use to destroy phantoms, and it keeps the appearance of the corrupted human, but with the wings of the diablo. the corrupted humans cannot use the human-only phantom destroying weapons, only have the power to command the human-turned-diablos. they can only use any weapons and martial arts available to any other normal human being
[11:12:36 PM] Koinig: oh and the mech arm should have claws on the palm that emit some sort of dark purple flame at the end of them
[11:13:59 PM] Koinig: their weakness, however, is that they gain souls...souls that the phantoms can use against them. phantoms can lock these stronger diablos' souls up as well to put them in a temporary coma, just like they can with the human-turned-diablos
[11:15:36 PM] Koinig: however, phantoms can kill these corrupted human diablos. OR...they can use alchemy to convert the soul of said corrupted human diablo to join their side. if they're using any weapons that are a threat to phantoms, those weapons convert to ones that hurt diablos. if they do not have these weapons, then their objective is to fight the human-turned-diablos, as they're the only ones who are allowed to hurt said diablos
[11:16:20 PM] Koinig: and if a phantom hurts a human that ISN'T a corrupted human diablo, then they are automatically erased from existance by jesus/damian
