Interlude: Bruno Gets Home

>it was a long day for 'Bruno'
>first there was the owner who thought the proper way to teach a fluffy momma to love the runt of the litter was by killing the rest of her foals
>then there was the guy running a fluffy pony sex ring
>and the less said about the guy with the fluffy pony centipede the better
>still, he had managed to save quite a few fluffies in the process
>as he opened the door to his apartment he could hear the sounds of his roommate's xbox blasting away
>he walked past the living room, not even bothering to look at his roommate on the couch with the controller in his hands
>"Anon." he said bluntly
>a half formed grunt was the only response he got, pretty much the standard result
>taking the large collection of fluffies he had rescued today he set them up in the safe room to play with their new friends
>you could hear the joyous wails of "new fwiends" "hugsies" "wan sketties?" through the 'safe room'
>usually this would elicit a smile from the large defender of fluffies, but today he was just so tired, he merely let the fluffies be
>his job complete he headed to the kitchen to fix himself a late dinner
>inside he found his roommate already eating some chicken
>"Hey Bruno!"
>"Anon." he said bluntly
>walk walk walk... wait a minute
>walk back
>"Weren't you in the living room just a second ago?" Bruno asked incredulously
>"What do you-... Oh no, that was Wrex." Anon said
>blink blink
>"Wrex?"
>"Uh huh."
>"Your fluffy pony Wrex is playing video games?"
>"Hey Wrex is a Smarty Friend. He ain't nobodies pet."
>"Fine, THE fluffy pony Wrex is playing video games?"
>"You don't believe come see for yourself."
>'Wrex' as he was now known, was a little blue unicorn Bruno had rescued a few weeks earlier, a Smarty Friend who Bruno didn't want to spread anti-human sentiment among the other fluffies
>he asked his roommate to look after him for a night while he arranged a shelter to take him in
>what he hadn't expected was Anon to become attached to the little guy
>since then he had been taking care of him
>Bruno followed his roommate to the living room, expecting to find the little fluffy moron to be trying to eat the controller (Bruno was a lover of fluffy ponies, but not at all surprised by their meager intellect)
>what he found what not what he expected
>"You noobs gotta stop wushing in! You just gonna get kiwwed by weapers!"
>there was the little blue unicorn somehow managing to work a 360 remote during a multiplayer game of ME3
>from what he could tell he seemed to be the only player still up (using a Krogan Vanguard) and currently repelling the enemy
>"That fluffy pony is playing video games."
>"Yeah, he's a prodigy." Anon said proudly
>"What level is he on?"
>"Silver last I checked."
>"Siwver fow noobs! Wex pway on gowd!" the little fluffy chimed in
>"My mistake. Gold."
>Bruno simply stood there blinking for a moment
>"I'm gonna go to sleep." Bruno said bluntly
>"A'ight. Night roomie." Anon waved goodnight
>"Night Woomie!" Wrex waved as well
>Bruno thought now might be a good time to stop drinking
