Install Civ4-BtS with K-Mod:

2. Mount & Install Civ4
3. Mount & Install Warlords expansion
4. Mount & Install Beyond the Sword expansion
5. Get patch @ https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/civ4-beyond-the-sword-v3-19-patch-pc.12576/
6. Install Patch 3.19
7. Get k-mod @ http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=16331&act=down
8. Extract & move K-Mod 1.46 to civ4 mods folder @ {install-path}/Beyond the Sword/mods/

Learn Basics:
- play Civ4 against AI and win
- read Civilopedia
- fool around and experiment to learn game mechanics

Learn Early-Game Economy:
- Play alone (no AI!) until 1 AD (turn 115)
- Write down "score": your GNP, production and crop yields (demographics screen).
- Repeat and beat yourself.
- Try out different strategies below (TIP: the best is Hybrid between everything, depending on start situation)

For Pie Ancient Europe V game:
#. Do everything as above
9. Get mod @ http://download.civforum.de/civ4/mods/PieAncientEuropeV.rar
10. Get mod patch @ http://download.civforum.de/civ4/mods/PAEV_Patch3.rar
11. Extract mod
12. Extract mod patch over mod folder
13. Move this merged folder to civ4 mods folder @ {install-path}/Beyond the Sword/mods/ (DO NOT RENAME IT!)
14. Create shortcut to civ4-BtS on your desktop
15. Edit shortcut, add at end of target this: " mod= /PieAncientEuropeV" and make it "run as administrator"
16! Before every launch, delete your cache at {UserPath}/AppData/My Games/civ4/cache
17. (optional) Read the Civilopedia about the new mod, because it overhauls all the game!
