For learning the planes of the face/head construction I HIGHLY recommend you give this guy a watch.

Once you have that construction down, it's all about simply filling in those planes with tone.

My Challenge for you is this:
1.) Create 50 head constructions keeping in mind proportions and the planes of the face.
2.) Create 15 more head constructions, but this time light them from various angles.
