 >Marco who or what is this Valent's Time's Day and why do we celebrate it tomorrow?" Star asked.
>"It's ValenTINE's Day, and it's the day you show appreciation to someone you love or care about or just declare your love and blah blah blah"
>"Ooooh so it's like back on Mewni when once a year a male can take a bride by hitting a female with a blunt object and dragging her back to his hut"
>Marco sometimes forgets what a dangerous and backwards society Star comes from. Still it's a step above most of the southern states in the US.
>"Yeaah...something like that except here you don't express your love with physical violence. Unless you are an athlete or hip hop artist"
>Star was already concocting ways to get Oskars attention Marco could tell.
>"Just get him a card like normal people ok Star? We can't afford another assault and battery lawsuit, may I remind you of the Christmas incident?
>"THAT MAN SAID HE KNOWS WHEN WE ARE SLEEPING AND KNOWS WHEN WE ARE AWAKE MARCO DID YOU EXPECT TO LET THAT BEARDED CREEP GET AWAY!!??"
>Marco apologised and change the subject.
>"So your just getting Jackie a card?"
>"Yes and I hired a pilot to write a message for her in the sky"

>After squeezing through several people in motorized scooters he finally found the greeting cards

>Finally he came across one that looked perfect.
>It was a Monster Hunter card it said something to the extent of the team that slays together stays together. No better way to capture the Star and Marco dynamic.
>As he reached for it another hand grabbed it at the same time.
>It was oskar.
>"Sorry man I had my eye on it first" Marco told him.
>Well I grabbed it first"
>"Look just get a different one, I want this for my friend" Marco replied
>"Well I need it for my girl, we play this together" Oskar rebuttled.
>Marco was surprised to hear he had a gf. But more to the point he was now really concerned about Star and how she might take the news.
>"Look I'm not giving it to you, I don't care if you are a junior. Your a musician...or thinks he is, just sing her a song"
>They began to pull at the card
>"She doesn't get my music, its too deep for her"
>They began to struggle even more, but neither was letting go
>"Look a record producer looking for a sexually ambiguous alternative boy ages 13-16" Marco shouted pointing behind Oskar.
>'WHERE?!" Oskar said in confusion
>Marco sucker punched him and ran off with the card
>The things he does for that girl.



>Marco almost made it to the checkout line when Oskar tackled him behind.
>"That wasn't a producer you jerk, just a guy who wanted a private performance in his van behind the Dairy Queen"
>Marco kicked him off and got up.
>Oskar pulled out his keytar and started hitting notes
>People covered their ears in pain, glass exploded and the lights flickered like an EMP went off
>Marco fell to his knee's the pain was immense it sounded like Skrillex if he had a stroke while getting a handy WHILE covering darude's sandstom
>"Give me the card! I can still rock harder than this!"
>Marco powered through the pain, and did a low kick knocking Oskar down stopping the music.
>He quickly recovered and hit another note which pushed back Marco into a vending machine
>"I can do this all day kid, just give me what i want" Oskar replied.
>"No...this is for Star, you know the girl so out of her own damn mind that she actually likes you but despite that is still my best friend in the world"
>"Who?" Oskar replied.
>Oh that did it, he's about to crush Star in so many ways tomorrow
>Marco rushed at Oskar, if he wants a fight he'll get a fight.
>Marco threw the first punch but Oskar deflected it with his keytar
>He then swung it like a sword, striking Marco's shoulder.
>He swung it again but Marco grabbed the instrument mid swing and reversed the attack
>"Come get me you 2006 era Myspace reject" Marco taunted.
>"Shouldn't we call security or something?" A customer said as she ducked for cover
>"git em, git em" another guy in trucker hat shouted.
>No one was gonna stop this fight.

>Marco wailed on Oskar but Oskar could take the hits.

>Oskar realized now his ace in the hole was useless
>Marco ran and drop kicked him into a DVD rack
>Oskar threw the DVD cases like ninja stars hitting Marco
>Marco grabbed one from the air and hurled it back, striking Oskar on the forehead
>They were all copies of the best of Dane Cook so at least nothing of value was lost.
>"Oskar got up weakly, he was losing but he didn't want to admit it"
>"Stay down Oskar, I have the high ground" Marco said as he climbed on a display stair master.
>"You underestimate the power of music"
>Oskar aimed his keytar at the ground and played a note that propelled him upwards, he tried to land a kick on Marco but Marco was ready
>In a flash Marco launched an uppercut straight at Oskars stomach...but he missed and punched him in his little oskars instead
>Oskar crashed into the ground writhing in pain
>Marco wondered how many of Oskar's emo sperm he just killed. At least enough to send the ear piercing economy into a fiscal depression.
>"I win" Marco spoke to him, he reached for the card that he had put in his pocket.
>To his dismay it was now all torn and crumbled from the fight.
>Marco sighed and grabbed whatever box of chocolates was left
>He kicked Oskar who was still on the ground one last time before dropping 5 bucks at a cash register and leaving.

>Marco reached into his hoodie and pulled out the card and the chocolate
>"Here, I might as well give this to you anyways. I sorta got into a fight over the card..."

>"Long story short I'm banned from Wal-Mart and partially deaf"
>"Is that why your all banged up? Just to get this for...me?"
>Yup, Marco replied.
>Star smiled and hugged her bestie
>"Not many people would get into a street fight just for me"
>"I'd do it again a heartbeat" Marco replied and hugged her back.
>"Might as well give you your gift too" Star said reaching into her purse
>It was a picture of them, with a handmade frame. Even the laser puppies signed it with paw prints

>"Who did you fight btw?" Star asked.

>"And you won! That's my Marco" Star said as she helped him to the sofa. She sat down next to him and rested her head on his shoulder
