I have choosen to write about how an teenager in India lives, I choosed India because the culture in this country is very diffrent from what people in sweden are used to. 25% of the Indian population are classed as being ”extremely poor” (lives on under 1$ per day) the good thing is that this percentage is decreasing every year. If you're lucky you could be born in a rich family. If you are that lucky can go to school and get educated. You can get a job and become independent just like in a richer country like Sweden.

In my opinion everyone should have the equal chance to get a good life. Right now thats basically just a lottery. If you get unlucky you can be born in a very poor family that does everything to get money and feed their family.

Every kid in india has the right to get an 8 year education, unfortunately most parents are desperately in need of money. So instead of sending their kid to school they choose to teach him/her to do work instead. I think this is kind of a stupid decision because sure, it might help them a little right now, but if they instead educated their child he/she might become successful later in life and get a better income for the family.

The typical teengager in india has to do alot of work for his/her family. They need to have a good source of water and food. Sometimes the closest water well could be miles away from their homes. I think that a very common work for childs is working at a cotton field, polish shoes, washing cars and selling diffrent things like flowers. With the money they earn on doing this they get food and water to feed the family.

When the child grows up he/she will most likely have to tougher work, possibly hunting.

A common sport that teenagers play in India is cricket. This is because cricket originaly comes from Great britain who earlier occupied India. Another reason that Cricket is so popular in india is because its very cheap and you don't need much equipment to play it.

The biggest religion in India is Hiduism, most people in india are religous. I think Sweden is more secular. Which means ”less religous”
