  1. 1.) Have you had any prior experience as staff on SBC and/or another forum? If so, what did you do as staff?
  2.
  3. As I said before in my last application, I haven’t had any experience as staff on SBC, but like I said last time, I do work as a moderator on The Annotation Station. Although there are already a ton of moderators on there, most of them aren’t even active anymore, but they’re still in the “Annotator” group. As a moderator on there, I pretty much do stuff like move and lock threads and delete replies that don’t belong.
  4.
  5. 2.) Why do you think you should be chosen as a mod? What makes you special and different from the many other users applying?
  6.
  7. Again, I’m pretty responsible enough and I don’t really get into fights with other members. I don’t really differ from many of the other applicants on the list, but I do have multiple monitors so I can pretty much watch SBC 24/7 while doing something else.
  8.
  9. 3.) Are there any reasons you may not make a good mod? How would you improve on these reasons? Everyone has flaws, whether they want to admit it or not. Do not think this will hurt your app, as we want you to improve upon these flaws.
  10.
  11. I don’t know if I’m really mature enough to be a mod. There are some posts on the forum in which terminoob calls me out on, but that was in like early 2015 and I have matured since then. I think the only bad thing I ever did back then was be an annoying cynical asshole, but now I regret it and now I’m ready to improve on those days.
  12.
  13. 4.) How active are you currently on SBC? Would that activity level stay the same, get worse, or improve if you are chosen?
  14.
  15. I am very active on SBC and watch it like a hawk 24/7. If I’m chosen as a moderator, I probably don’t see my activity level decreasing at all. It would probably stay the same, or better yet, improve.
  16.
  17. 5.) Would you be committed and dedicated to the position? This means trying to login at least every day, checking reports, patrolling over the forums, and participating in staff discussions.
  18.
  19. I would be VERY committed and dedicated to my moderator position. Like I said in 2, I have multiple monitors, and like I said in 4, I watch SBC like a hawk 24/7. I also have no problem in participating in staff discussions.
  20.
  21. 6.) Would you be levelheaded, unbiased, and fair with punishments to ALL members? This means no playing favorites, and may mean you will have to punish a friend or well liked member. If you have a bias, how would you plan to fix it?
  22.
  23. Yes. Like I said before, I have trust in a lot of my fellow members to not break the rules. If they do, I’ll give them a warning point, but I doubt that any of my SBC friends will break a rule.
  24.
  25. 7.) Would you make sure everyone on SBC is treated equally, including users you may not like or know personally?
  26.
  27. Yes. I do think everyone on the site should be treated equally. New users should be welcomed and treated with open arms. As for the users I dislike, I should probably keep anything bad I think about them to myself. They could be really nice and I don’t want to hurt their feelings.
  28.
  29. 8.) Do you have any issues with this site (design, staff, features, etc.), and if so, what would you suggest, or do, to fix them as a mod?
  30.
  31. I really can’t think of any issues with the site so far. It looks pretty good so far.
  32.
  33. 9.) Have you had a controversial past with SBC and/or other sites (past punishments, drama, etc.)? If so, what would you do to personally make sure members forget about them? This is not to embarrass you, like question 3, we want this to be a way for you to improve. Nobody is perfect. If you truly think you have a spotless record, then you can ignore this question.
  34.
  35. I think aside from being a cynical asshole in my early days, I was also a Mr. Enter fanboy/defender on both SBC and SBM. Heck, most of my early days on both sites were pretty bad. I kept advertising my lists and clogging up the SBM blogs with my cruddy reviews, being oblivious to the people who were annoyed by it. So it wasn’t anything major, just an incident I really wish I could forget.
  36.
  37. 10.) What ideas would you personally bring to the table for SBC’s staff, regarding forum events, features, skins, or just the site in general? This doesn't mean we will use them for certain if you are accepted, but we want to know what innovation you plan to offer.
  38.
  39. I may have some ideas for features or maybe even special Jeopardy themes too. Not too sure if I’m ready for skins or banners though. Art isn’t really one of my strong suits except for stuff like Photoshop.
  40.
  41. 11.) User A and User B get into an argument in an episode discussion topic over a difference of opinions, which starts off as a simple debate but starts slowly evolving into something more. How would you personally handle it if it gets out of control?
  42.
  43. I would probably tell both users to respect each other’s opinions and delete a few nasty or harsh posts if there are any. If someone does say anything harsh or offensive, whether or not they’re joking, I’ll give them a warning point and possibly a suspension.
  44.
  45. 12.) Have you made any professional graphics for another website (banners, skins, etc.)? If so, provide examples of your work. If not, please ignore this question.
  46.
  47. I do not recall making any banners or skins for another site.
