	After a short while, they arrived back at Jackie's house. It was only 10:30 pm and Marco had said he'd be back home before 11, which would be no problem this night had gone better then Marco could ever dream. Jackie got off the bike, as did Marco to say goodnight. Again they were in the same spot they were earlier when the night started, two kids awkwardly standing a few inches from each other but at the same time things could not have been more different.

"I had fun with you Marco," Jackie said breaking the silence.

"I had fun with you too sorry if it got a little out of hand" Marco replied.

"Are you kidding? that only made it more fun especially near the end when all the lights went out and sparks flew everywhere from the speakers and stuff that was cool"

Marco looked down and kicked a pebble that was on the side walk off to the side. "There so you don't fall of your skateboard next time you leave the house," Marco told Jackie who just smiled at him.

"Listen about the other stuff, I would understand if it was just an in the moment sort of thing the making out and stuff, just know that it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me" Marco told her looking Jackie straight at her eyes, even though the only light was from a streetlight Marco could still see the vibrant color of her green eyes.

"Well you are sorta right, when I kissed you the first few times it was a spur of the moment sort of thing, with the crowd and the music" Jackie gripped her right arm with her left hand as she said it.

"Oh...well like I said I understand, the high has to wear off sometimes" Marco replied trying to not sound sad.

"But my problem isn't that I didn't want to do that, its that I was too scared to make a move without the little push from the incredibly sweet thing you did Marco"

"Oh," Marco said a little taken back.

"And that we couldn't find some time alone just for us afterward" Jackie added with a sly grin.

Marco blushed and took hold of her hand. "Well, we are kinda alone now."

Jackie took another step closer to Marco, she keeps forgetting how tall he is, taller then her he's going to a giant when he gets older. Given how his father is built plus his natural athleticism because of his martial arts, Jackie then  got lost in her fantasy of older Marco.

"Jackie you ok? You're sort of drooling on me" Marco asked concerned, Jackie had a blank expression on her face and her mouth was wide open with drool on the side like how when Homer Simpsons see's a donut.

"Oh sorry, you have a weird effect on me Marco," she said coming back to reality.

"Its cool, it was kinda cute actually" Marco then pointed up to his eyes. "But remember my eyes are up here you perv," Marco said jokingly.

Jackie leaned against Marco and rested her head on his chest "Oh really grandma? Ok then I was going to let you stare at my chest but that's not fair now is it?

"Woah Woah ok I take it all back, you can objectify me all you want I am a dirty dirty dirt slut yeah" Marco then realized what that might have sounded like, "Not that I'm implying  that in any are you a slut, I was just referring to my own sphere...of man sluttiness? Oh god I'm sorry sometime's I'm only funny in my mind or as an anonymous poster on the internet"

Jackie laughed so hard she actually snorted a little, Marco thought it was super cute. Whether intentional or not Marco was good at making her laugh and that made Jackie extremely happy.  She tilted her head, and Marco tilted his down so they were staring at each other.

Jackie heard a guy say this to Janna and that's why she remembers it, but she didn't care, it suited the mood perfectly. "Just shut up and kiss me, you filthy little slut" Jackie whispered softly to Marco.

"That is the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me," Marco said pretending to wipe away a tear.

Jackie grinned and stood up on her toes to reach Marco's lips, but he leaned down and met her half way. He embraced her while kissing her slowly, no crowd no music no camera's just them. Marco was the first to separate from her, he nuzzled her forehead with his.

"Why'd you stop?" Jackie asked as she kissed Marco's neck and chin.

"Needed to come up for air, you are such a good kisser I forgot how to breathe" Marco whispered.


"Oh really? Well, let's see what other things I can make you forget" Jackie replied and jumped up onto Marco and wrapped her legs around his waist.

 Marco's instincts kicked in and he held her up by her own waist, but Jackie moved his hands down to her butt. "Don't want you dropping me" she said playfully.

Marco just nodded and kissed her some more the night was surprisingly cold, but he felt like his skin was on fire from Jackie's touch. One way or another Jackie was going to make him so happy he'd forget his own name, but most importantly he'll forget about Star. While Jackie did not lie about believing Marco when he said that he and Star are just friends, some small part of her still thinks that girl is going to be trouble in the future. Jackie unzipped his hoodie and massaged his chest, which she could feel was pretty toned with a slight hint of abs forming. Whatever Marco does to train for his karate it really works, for a second she almost forgot how to breathe too.

"Jackie I-" but Jackie silenced Marco by putting a finger to his lips.

"Shhh no talking just kiss me" She whispered.

Marco held onto her for what felt was forever, if time was to ever freeze again now would be the best moment neither wanted to let go of each other.

Marco's ringtone interrupted the moment, much to his dismay. Jackie stopped kissing him and laughed. "Oh that's so cute"

"It's suppose to be ironic," Marco said annoyed that he forgot to set it to vibrate. Marco let go of Jackie's butt so she could touch the ground again, the feeling was nice while it lasted. Jackie continued to sprinkle his cheek with kisses.

'Who was it?" she asked between kisses.

Marco checked, it was a text from Star. "Where R U?????!!! " It read.

"Text from Star, or most likely my mom told her to text me using her new phone, she wants to know where I am" Marco told her. He chekced the time it was now 10:50, time really flies when you're holding up the girl you want to marry by her ass.

Jackie let out a quiet groan, that little voice in her head repeated the word trouble again.

"I gotta go, I'd stay out here with you all night if I could but I have a curfew" Marco said sadly.

Jackie nodded, "Skype with me when you get home?"

"Absolutely" Marco replied almost immediteldy. Jackie gave him her skype username but again Marco had already stalked her so much he already knew it but still decided to keep that little tidbit to himself for now; when they have their first baby then Marco will tell her.

Marco gave her a quick kiss on the lips, which delighted Jackie.

"Goodnight" she whispered.

"Goodnight" Marco whispered back.

She turned around and headed towards her front door waving bye at Marco as she did. Marco waved back he waited until she was safetly inside before leaving, she blew him a kiss as she slowly closed the door.

Marco arrived home just past 11, his folks were on the couch watching Tv as usual. Marco skipped had a huge grin on his face, bigger then when Jackie said yes to the date he was even humming Drive By to himself.

"Marco you promised you'd be back before 11 its now-" Marco's mother checked her watch, "11:05...uhm OK I'll let it slide this time but the next time..."

Marco backflipped to where his parents were. "No worries mom won't happen again" He then hugged and kissed  his parents on the forehead. "I just want you to know I love you guys" Marco said gleefully and then backflipped to the bottom of the stairs, he then cartwheeled up the stairs laughing and smiling much like how Star does on any given day.

Marco's parents just stared at him until he dissapeared from view.

"Wow i've never seen him so happy, did you see that Rafael?" Marco's mom asked her husband.

"Yeah I saw Angie...maybe they did have sex after all" Marco's father replied.

Mrs. Diaz punched him hard in the ribs.

"WERE BOTH THINKING IT!!" he exclaimed as he massaged his probabaly broken ribs.

Upstairs Marco continued to do cartwheels in the hall still humming Drive By...that song was starting to grow on him.

"Marco?" Star said as she emerged from her bedroom, she looked pale and...grumpy.

Marco carthweeled to where she was and pulled her out her bedroom dorway. Marco and her spun and twirled around the hall as if they were doing a waltz to music that wasn't there. Marco's smile was infectious Star began to smile too, maybe things won't be so different after all Star told herself. She wanted to be mad for what she heard at the concert but Marco's mom made them all swear to not tell Marco that they were even at the concert. But seeing as how Marco just greeted her maybe there's no need to be mad, Marco could have lied about Jackie because it was the polite thing to do.

Marco stopped spiining, he was getting dizzy, as was Star when they stopped Marco gave Star a big old bear hug. Star smiled and hugged him back, this was the Marco she knew.

"I can't thank you enough Star for what you've done" Marco told her.

"You can't?" Star replied tilting her head confused but still with a smile.

"If it hadn't been for you giving me that extra push and all those other little pushes over the past few months , I never would have taken Jackie to a concert tonight and she never would have kissed me" Marco said, Star could practically see his pupils become hearts.

"Oh, you two kissed? That's so sweet and from the prettiest girl in Echo Creek...least thats what I assume you think she is." Star said with a nervous chuckle.

"Oh yeah you're right about that" Marco added.

"I can see your over the moon, she must be a lot of things to you...pretty, caring, sweet...cool" Star said her smile begenning to fade.

"Oh totally and then some" Marco replied.

"It wasn't said outloud but I think I can add girlfriend to the list of things she is to me" Marco was practically floating on air as he spoke.

"Anyways I owe you big Star, what you've done for me I cant put into words, WAY makes up for all the times I've almost died on our adventures" Marco said jokingly.

"aww well, thats great Marco, you know I always have your back I was happy to do it. Star said in a slow robotic tone but Marco didn't notice.

He hugged her again and spun her around.

"I know I promised I'd tell you what happened, but just look on Jackie's Facebook and twitter page I'm sure there's a video of the night up on YouTube by now"

"Oh haha really?" Star replied trying to sound curious.

"Yeah, It's this whole thing, anyways I'm telling you this because I'm going to go skype with Jackie. I won't have time to go through all the details, sorry about that but you understand right?" marco said opening his door and stepping into his bedroom

"I get it homie, go be with yoour new super dooper cool new gilrfriend...you know where I live if you want to talk to me....HERE haha" Star said forcing a grin.

"Yeah will do, just do me a favor and knock from now on...for reasons" Marco said with a shifty look on his face.

"Goodnight Star"

"huh oh yeah goodnight" Star replied, and with that Marco closed the door and left Star alone in the hall again.


She headed back to her room, Marco Jr. was asleep on her bed, he was on his back and his cute little paws were up in  the air moving like they were running. Marco Jr. must be having a dream that someone was playing fetch with him as usual. Star sat on the edge of her bed and pulled out Mrs. Diaz camera phone, she had been watching the video Marco's mother recorded. She kept rewinding back to when the band first came back on stage and announced Marco's decleration of love for Jackie, she kept rewinding the scene in her head she might as well rewind it for real. She kept hitting play and then went back a few seconds.

"This song goes out to and I quote the coolest, most awesome and prettiest girl I know...Jackie Lynn Thomas from the guy who's been in love with you for years and will always be there for you  Marco Diaz"

Stop, go back.

"...girl he knows" Star finished the guy's sentence.


Star got up and walked to a corner of her room, holding the wand. She put her hands to her face andlet out an angry gluteral groan. A small shockwave emerged from her body that sent furniture and various things in her room flying back, finally crashing agaisnt the wall.

The shockwave also pushed Marco Jr. which woke him up but he wasn't hurt, in fact he thought it was fun. He tilted his head and fired off a few laser beams at Star who was kneeling on the ground. Unfortunately no one was going to play with him right now.

Mama just wanted to express some rage.
