  1. Player Name: LawfulNice
  2.
  3. Player Availability: Eh. For now, pretty open. Sunday is the best day, but other days are variably open, especially if dual-wielding is allowed.
  4.
  5. 'Anime' Name: Apeiron
  6.
  7. 'Anime' Genre: Sci-Fi
  8.
  9. Main Character (Your character): Juliet Valentin
  10.
  11. Personality Traits: Juliet Valentin is a somewhat naive person, but she takes things in stride and has learned to just smile and nod and not worry too much about things she doesn't understand. She tries to stay positive, but was a civilian before things got bad, and she's very uncomfortable with killing people.
  12.
  13. Mech Name: Orobouros
  14.
  15. Mech Appearence: The Orobouros is designed around a flexible nanotechnological skeleton, held rigid by pressure. The armor is segmented, allowing it to take on a variety of shapes depending on need, and it can transform into a motorcycle to allow for low-profile missions Inside. Overall, think of Issac Clark's suit combined with the Gundam Barbatos. Color scheme is mostly blue and green.
  16.
  17. Mid-Season Upgrade: Orobouros Golden Spiral - later in the series, the Orobouros is heavily damaged while fighting Simone de Soren's Arms Driver, the Endless. The nanotech skeleton forms a chrysalis and absorbs poorly-understood Shell technology while regenerating, getting a second Orientation Field generator, allowing it to teleport and manipulate space-time while Inside.
  18.
  19. Supporting Cast:
  20. Amiel Camus - An officer of the Outsider organization Sideways Eight, which conducts operations Inside using the Arms Drivers, mecha designed to survive the trip Sideways across the dimensional barrier between Inside and Outside. She was chasing the dangerous criminal Sartre Inside when Juliet Valentin got in the way of the operation, getting trapped in her Arms Drivers' Orientation Field as the world reset. Amiel Camus took her Outside to avoid continued contamination of the Inside, and the two become partners and eventually fall in love. Pilots the Ananta Arms Driver.
  21. Foucault - The leader of the Outsiders, who resembles an older Juliet Valentin and was the first person to discover the Shell and become an Outsider by missing a Reset.
  22. Renee Thales - Juliet Valentin's former best friend before the Reset. The reincarnated version doesn't remember her, but feels oddly drawn to her whenever they meet, which is surprisingly often, even across multiple resets.
  23. Simone de Soren - Ace Arms Driver pilot, almost entirely mechanized after repeated injury and regeneration. They eventually betray the Sideways Eight for the promise of being able to see their husband and children again, and being part of their lives. Pilots the Lemniscate.
  24.
  25. Synopsis of Show: Juliet Valentin was born on the Inside, on an artifical world designed to reset every twenty years. Through an accident involving a mysterious girl trying to track down a criminal, Juliet Valentin ended up being transported Outside just as the world reset, breaking her out of the cycle of death and rebirth and leaving her with no place in the world. With no other place to go, she works with the Outsiders to track down the criminal, an immortal Outsider who wants to break the world open like an egg and reform it in their own image.
  26. Across multiple Resets, Juliet Valentin and Amiel Camus track down Dvapara, and Juliet Valentin starts to lose hope of ever having a normal life again after meeting Renee Thales multiple times and having been forgotten each time. Simone de Soren tries to convince her to come with her and join Dvapara.
  27. In the end, Sartre finds the system that causes the Resets, and shuts it down with the help of Renee Thales, but the world is consumed in fire and destruction after the battle between Sideways Eight and Dvapara. Juliet Valentin has to make a choice and resets it again, restarting the cycle, but with some changes.
  28. With the ending scenes, Simone de Soren is human again and is with her family, and Juliet Valentin and Amiel Camus approach Renee Thales and ask if she wants to do something big with her life.
  29.
  30. Overarching Themes of the Show: Rebirth and the promise of fixing your mistakes by trying again, the power of friendship and love across worlds and lives.

  36. Tech Level of Show: Varies. Inside, technology is roughly at the late 20th century level (flip-phones, basic internet) and is stuck there as it 'resets' every twenty years. Outside, the Shell is far above human technology to the point that it might as well be magic, and only portions are understood by the Outsiders. Dvapara has a significant amount of scavenged Outsider technology but relies mostly on cheaper knockoffs made using Insider materials.
  37. Notably, Insiders are more or less immortal because they reincarnate if anything happens to them. Outsiders don't age, and are exceptionally difficult to kill, thanks to advanced medical nanotechnology.
  38.
  39. Major Villains/Organizations:
  40. Sartre - A dangerous criminal that wants to change the Inside, breaking and reformatting the Reset System to create a world of her own specifications. She has operatives both Inside and Outside. Has a heavily customized Arms Driver called the Mobius.
  41. Dvapara - Sartre's army, mostly comprised of Insiders that she got to know over countless Resets, to the point that she learned exactly what to say and promise to make them loyal. Dvapara maintains a secret base clouded with Orientation Fields that keep it from being Reset, and which also causes it to be forgotten by Insiders every time a reset occurs.
