The loving feeling of fingers through his hair washed those fears away, and slowly Eredis began to relax. So much trust, faith, and love had been given, and how deeply he was moved showed in the soft, half-lidded gaze given.

"I love you too..." A soft breath, a weak smile as he slid his arms around the others midsection. Calm, so suddenly tired, he buried his face into the crook of the others neck. Still smelling the faint hint of blood there, as his mind began to slip away. Deep into the threat of awaiting nightmares he would never be prepared for. For now, though, that fear was forgotten, the warmth around him easing him into a restful state.
