	Hi there, the name's Teh Soon and my IC number is 950913075453 and I would like to thank you for the time and efforts I assure you that it's going to be well spent.
	So, let's begin. Since most of my personal and family background are clearly provided in the application form, I'll be talking about those aren't. Firstly, I'm a self learned programmer which have bountiful past experience of working in the IT field as a data analyst, penetration-tester, system administrator, game and software developer. Utilizing the knowledge from previous experience, I'm currently the co-founder of a mobile apps company and an e-commerce platform which specializes in the trading of traditional art pieces from Eastern peninsular and Indonesia. Unlike most of my peers, I do not spend my pastime indulging in social media, instead, parallel to my work, my hobby includes programming and contributing to open source, some of the notable open source I have contributed includes TOR(The Onion Router), TrueCrypt and linux OpenSUSE. Next, I'll be talking about my family. What makes my family intriguing is that as a family of four, each of us have different religions and beliefs, my dad's a taoist, my mom's a buddhist, my sister's a christian while I'm an atheist. Most people are baffled by how is this scenario even possible and how could different beliefs co-exist under the same roof. Yet, we do, we are able to accept our differences, and thus, I've grown up believing that harmony could exist regardless of the differences. We're all humans, after all.

*	Despite my affiliation with IT and business, my heart yearns the thrill of science and the sophisticated technology. Which is why I'm applying for physics. As for the reason why I should be admitted to this course, I could give thousands if not hundreds, but hereby one will do – I'll redefine physics. The problem with pure sciences such as physics is that most people think of it doesn't pays off, they squinted and puzzled when being asked be a part of the action. They understand the importance of science in the development of technology, but not the commercial value. Thus, born the dogma of which people think that science is unprofitable. What I learned from the IT and business is that whenever it involves money, you'll see a surge of development in that particular field, and here's where my expertise are being put into action. Therefore, during my period as undergraduate, I'll take initiation in solving this misconception by finding the links between physics and economy. Upon graduation, I'm looking forward to complete a PHD and eventually took up a position as researcher, and will be devoting my life in bridging economy, science and IT through my influences. I'm not a mere student for I'm a talent; I'm not a follower, for I'm a leader, together we could reeducate the people, to get them involve in science and making technology a commodity which rivals other businesses. Science and technology is the benchmark of progress and success, for they are the future. With this I say thank you for listening. Who would be a better candidate than one who truly appreciates the beauty of the subject itself. Juts look around yourself, everything you see are made up of different material which serves different purposes, yet their very existence holds key to the future. Everything, from matters to molecules to atoms are bounded by law of physics, in order to achieve faster speed, the object has to be lighter; in order to build taller building, the framework has to be sturdier, and this is where material science comes in, a subject that focuses engineering lighter, and much durable material. Innovation often revolves around the material available, as the attribute of material is what restricts its creation. Therefore, during my period as undergraduate, I'll take initiation in acquiring essential knowledge regarding the course. Upon graduation, I'm looking forward to complete a PHD and eventually took up a position as researcher, and will be more than willing devote my life in the discovery of better material. I'm not a mere student for I'm a talent; I'm not a follower, for I'm a leader, together we could revolutionize the world.
