  25. DESCRIPTION
  26. ---------------------
  27.
  28. Paragon is a game about bouncing balls around mazes,
  29. collecting shiny things, and avoiding deadly spikes.
  30.
  31. In Paragon, you have a ball which rides vertically
  32. and horizontally on magnetic rails. If you press a
  33. direction while the ball is on a rail, the ball jumps
  34. off toward the direction you pressed. So if the ball
  35. is moving up on a rail, and you press right, it will
  36. move diagonally up-and-right! The ball then bounces
  37. around the level until it reaches another rail, or
  38. meets its end at the tip of a spike.
  39.
  40. Paragon is an official remake of the DOS game of the
  41. same name. It is based off of the 1994 version, which
  42. came in Issue 93 of the SoftDisk PC Monthly floppy-disc
  43. subscription in 1994 :)

  46. SCORING
  47. ---------------------
  48.
  49. The object in Paragon is to collect all of the prizes
  50. scattered about each level, and do so without hesitating
  51. and leaving the ball bouncing back and forth on a rail
  52. for too long.
  53.
  54. Each time the ball hits a wall while riding straight on
  55. a rail, you gain one point. Though the score doesn't
  56. start keeping track until AFTER you've made your first
  57. move. Once you start moving, try to keep jumping off of
  58. the rails, and don't hesitate!
  59.
  60. The lower your score, the better your rating, and the
  61. more stars you recieve for the level! The more stars
  62. you get, the more extras you can unlock! You can view
  63. the Silver Star score (Par), the Gold Star score (Pro),
  64. and your current score in the pause menu.
  65.
  66. Special flowers are added to each level as an extra
  67. challenge after you beat it once. See if you can figure
  68. out how to collect them all and unlock the final secret!
