Hired by the US government at cold war for some super soldier project, created many many serums and tested them. F021 is a failed subject from the project and treated like shit, gives him the motivation to escape from his research facility. They do have a success test named "Adam" and is currently under a coma and can be 'deployed' should the circumstances needs.

Leader's some douche named andrew something, thinks he's immortal due to his own serum that decelerates aging.
