  1. So, that's how the story goes. Okay.
  2. You see, that "Gaming, Demos, Music, 3D, Graphics" and much more are available for every modern OS. M$ shitware isn't exclusive for it. In particular, Linux has lots of tools for all this, and lots of people use them and like them, and don't complain. Why? Because these users have the right and the will to change things. If you personally don't like a certain tool for something, you can always improve it and make it suit your preferences. Either send a bugreport to the developers, or write necessary functionality yourselves. For example, this is what I had to do (create PunkJS) to compensate JsExe's monoplatformity and closed source. I needed the tool - I wrote the tool, and also shared it with anyone who would ever need it. Consuming-whore approach isn't welcomed in the open-source world. Especially if this approach comes from the people that appear to be creative at the first glance.
  3. That brings me to the bottom line. I am really disappointed. I thought I'd get into a real underground but came across a bunch of hipsters, those slaves of the mainstream that only claim to be underground. I thought I could talk to creative people but came across a bunch of dumb consumers that can blame anything and anyone but don't wanna move a bit to solve any tiniest problem themselves.
  4. Luckily, this isn't true about everyone here. That's why I hope the things will stabilize. Still I speak to those who want to hear: boycott the monopolist all possible ways! Our IT world deserves a better fate.
