muh vague, muh only recognizing a little bit of effort into a venture that's put in pretty much weekly by commanders without recognition
the other one to ToxicEnigma for
"You took command of the ark division and right after that the division started growing again. A division on the brink of death brought back to a healthy state, keep up the good work!"
you'll notice that this is only the start of necht being biased toward ark
it's not like I did that about three times as commander of DI-XVII with no recognition

I did the same fucking thing throughout my tenure as commander of DI-XVII and got nothing
December 2017 it was given to... oh, look, it was Jonse, her first commander
the guy she talks to the most gets a commendation while the rest get jack
March 2018 it was given to Anima again, "due to your continuous efforts for the Ark Division, both as a commander and a vice. You still have a big positive influence in the division to this day. Keep up the good work!"
And in one year, he has given three gold commendations
Nov 2017: Given to Enigma, her then-FC who had a resounding success that month with two division splits.
Dec 2017: Given to you as you left command of DI-X to lead Imperium. Keep in mind that you were an absolutely god-tier commander and never got any other recognition from him until you left.
May 2018: Given to Jonse as he left command of DI-C to become HG for Sabre.
So it's either

Comparatively:
- OwT gave his ADC a gold comm last month after literally one month of service
- Gamma gave Patty a gold comm legitimately just for taking on command and going a month and a half without permissions as commander, meanwhile back when Telfer was inactive you were acting commander for a while and I was acting vice and the only perms we had were your vice perms, which I couldn't use for my vice duties and which you couldn't use for your commander duties. But no, Necht doesn't think that's anything until you leave the legion and he realizes how much you were carrying it.
- Gamma gave Tzuyu a gold comm for taking a lot of initiative and contributing extraordinarily to the community. While I've made many projects that have boosted XVII's activity, brought up plenty of ideas and basically pulled XVII through shit by a leash and gotten nothing.
- Falx gave Sona a gold comm for his duties as a fucking vice and helping the commander get a split done after three months of rebuilding!
- OT gave Jinxxy a gold comm two months into service for rebuilding NA Overwatch and because she "quickly was able to build up a strong division full of active players and a friendly environment."
- Tyrant gave HarryPickles a gold comm for turning DI-XI on its head and rebuilding it, heeding others' advice while putting his spin on them, being "universally respected, having found the perfect balance between community building and strict discipline." etc etc.
- GJ gave you a gold comm for doing the division split in october in addition to your constant outstanding officer qualities, and has given me a big goose egg for helping you with the split and maintaining DI-XVII since. No sir, my officer qualities are mediocre at best.
But worst of all
- Tyrant also gave Black a gold comm for "outstanding resilience throughout these past months as I have badgered, nagged and bothered you to be on top of everything in your division. Despite having a difficult start and falling into difficult times, your perseverance has consistently brought you back up to par, even going so far as to independently make the decision to scout for high level semi-pro teams and recruit them all on your own. This level of proactivity is exactly what the most resilient leaders are made of, and before long you will be eligible for the Commander’s Coat of Arms. Well done."
