  28. Backstory (3):
  29. - Viva was born in Grednar, as an only child to a merchant family whose livelihood today mainly depends on the Grednar-Uxanin trade routes.
  30. - She showed signs of magical potential early in life. Her family was wealthy enough to allow her to begin private studies on magic, and Grednar being what it was, her studies inevitably turned to dark magic.
  31. - Curious about the curse of Grednar and about furthering her studies in the field, she began first accompanying her family's caravans and then even traveling on her own (sometimes with guards) to find and read history books, track down rumors and hearsay, and hone her understanding of the subtleties of dark magic. This worries her parents.
