I have a very narrow view on how the entire video game playing population sees our annual basketball video games (I usually stick to Operation Sports, NeoGAF, and Reddit, sometimes Kotaku), but I think it is safe to assume the general impressions of these games are negative right now. It seems like everytime I see one game or the other mentioned online it is coupled with complaints about 2K's misguided use of Virtual Currency or Live's overall quality. There are certainly valid complaints to be made about each game, but it feels like the image issues I see online for these two game series' are a bit, exaggerated.





I will let the shock that I feel something on the Internet would be wrapped in hyperbole, but it has gotten a bit bigger than I would have anticipated. I

My other thought was some sort of 'random' 8 v 8 set of teams for an Arcade/Street/Jam type of play, with each team having their own Midnight Court. I'm not sure if the feel would be as good if a whole team had on the same street gear, though. Might look lame. Maybe not.
Could have Legends teams, a team of NCAA guys, etc. Just starting 5, backup C, backup F, backup G if you want to sub. Ramped up ratings to make play open and fun.
