I'll be honest with you guys. Lansky has had a secret idolization for Reptile ever since he was a young(er) boy. We all had role models when we younger, and since Lansky's dawn of puberty began around the time he began playing competitive TF2 in its early days, it was only natural for him to develop an extreme obsession over Reptile. Ever since the first day he saw his soldier idol's epic frag video, Lansky's diary was filled with thoughts of being able hang out with or perhaps even play side by side with the legend himself.

Today was that day. After Lansky was told that it was time for his first 8 hour tf2 training session of the day, he humbly connected to his team's mumble server ready to play. He scavenged through the list of channels to see where his team was residing and was shocked to see Reptile himself in the same channel as his teammates. Lansky broke into a cold sweat and hands were shaky. He took a deep breath and clicked to join the channel, but in his nervous wreck he accidentally joined the channel above where he intended. At this point Lansky was hyperventilating knowing Reptile KNEW that he was nervous now. Everyone knew that Reptile's immense skill gave him the ability to sense emotion. Another deep breath, and muting himself, he finally connected to the right channel.

His teammates confirmed that they would indeed be playing with Reptile in their rigorous training exercises of the day. His nerves had calmed, and he was ready to begin. He opened and connected to the TF2 server where the twelve man cyber battle would begin. Who their team was playing against does not matter, and it is unlikely even Lansky himself could remember at this point. Lansky’s only concern was proving his worth to the god of TF2.

The scrim began and Lansky executed his brutally difficult pinpoint accurate fastest scout badlands rollout the world has ever seen. That would impress Reptile for sure. As Lansky began climbing up the hill bringing him up to the middle bridge, he heard an unfamiliar voice call out that a scout was going closet. Lansky’s eyes glazed over as he walked behind train to intercept the enemy attempting the flank after hearing that voice, knowing it belonged to his idol. His hand became paralyzed as the enemy scout walked in and two shot him, setting the middle battle up for eventual failure. This was the voice of a god?

What happened during the rest of that scrim is irrelevant. What is important is that Lansky’s god died that day. After hearing Reptile’s underwhelming voice he realized that he has grown since his initial obsession. That he himself was now a god capable of TF2 ESEA Invite destruction. He proceeded to tell his mom this whole story and went to sleep just in time for bed time.
