  1. Places we currently take damage/might take damage:

  3. - bank clip (do old hidden owl hover)
  4. - dodongo grotto long jump (do a recoil flip instead)
  5. - don't long jump to lens cave and don't take damage for deathwarp
  6. - the precise torch hookshot in Woodfall 2 causes us to take fire damage, so we can't do that. Instead, we should recoil flip to the switch and then recoil flip back in Woodfall 1 (similar to how we used to long jump there, except obviously don't long jump because that takes damage). Also, you can't do torch mega because the torch would damage you, so just do 2 hovers + 1 megaflip to make it across the gap without using the torch
  7. - Fairy Reward Cutscene Skips (voiding in oob water does 1 heart of damage, so just don't do them; means we'll have a lot more chus for STT/Woodfall 2 because the FFAE will only require 3 chus as shown in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzG2Z_KhG2E)
  8. - Reverse PF -- enter from the sewers unless we can find a way to reliably blow up the mine without taking damage. An idea for blowing up the mine could be to time a bombchu to blow it up from the ladder
  9. - No deathwarp in Oceanside Spiderhouse, so you can do the old route that does the hookshot clip, but use updated strats of course (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFpPAOlMdh8&t=2h12m55s) -- also be sure to test the timing with the hookshot clip because you don't want to hookshot clip and land right on top of the skulltula which would damage you (so this route is pretty optional, up to you)
  10. - We can't goron boost into or out of the observatory, so you should use the deku flower (or you could hess/recoil flip clip near ikana gossips grotto if you don't want to use the flower) to get into the observatory and then just hover off of the ledge to exit
  11. - When melting the ice after wizrobe, it is possible to avoid fall damage if you time your fire arrow correctly (as in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj-d7BtQXcQ) but it might be risky (not sure if it is frame perfect or not). Ledge grab + drop down also gives you fall damage, so you can just goron curl and slowly roll down since you don't take fall damage if you're curled as a goron, then turn human and melt the ice
  12. - Blowing up the Compass Wall/Crate -- just time a bomb throw to break the crate so that you don't get damaged by the explosion
  13. - long jump before hookshoting torch -- just do a recoil flip instead of a long jump
  14. - jumping to the alcove fairy -- if you don't land on the deku flower, then you can take damage. To completely avoid any chance of taking damage, just goron roll into the alcove and stay curled until you land since goron can't take fall damage while curled
  15. - after the alcove fairy, again make sure you stay curled when rolling down to the bottom floor to avoid damage
  16. - Snowhead bridge jump -- do the roll + recoil strat to get onto the bridge to avoid taking any fall damage (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU4ya95iD3s)
  17. - don't do bomb timestop to enter STT, just do fish or fairy timestop
  18. - don't sun block clip with a long jump (be sure you either roll clip or recoil flip clip)
  19. - no point in blowing up the floor to enter map room, you'd take fall damage entering through the hole, so go down the stairs
  20. - petrie flip could be risky because if you miss then you land in the lava and take damage -- up to you if you think it is worth the risk. We should hover back onto the sun block after getting the map, not sure how many explosives that is (we have extra chus because no fairy reward cutscene skip means we use fewer chus on FFAE)
  21. - We need to open the small key chest in the lava as goron so that we don't take lava damage.
  22. - don't do a long jump to the stray fairy chest in the updraft room, probably just use deku flower (technically recoil flip works, but it's kind of precise and it kills the run if you miss)
  23. - Solve the goron pound puzzle in the updraft room to get rid of the flames surrounding the chest
  24. - hiploop room: be careful when jumping down to the stray fairy chest after hitting the switch, can maybe avoid fall damage if you land high up on the ramp or if you just time it so you fall down during the cutscene (you don't take fall damage during cutscenes)
  25. - get flaming ISTT chest in normal STT with weirdshot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k70R_lr1TBg&t=1h29m32s)
  26. - We can't do the long jump in ISTT to get to the switch -- hover instead and try to grab ledge out of a hover with a sidehop? Could use some testing

  28. - after pictobox, go get swamp frog, then kill the octo and use lilly pads to get to swamp spider house (we can't goron roll in the poison water; this isn't that big a detour since we won't have to backtrack for swamp frog later)
  29. - after swamp spider house, use deku to get on the lilly pads and then jump to get to song of soaring/woodfall as normal
  30. - do not hookshot the torch to get to gekko (torch damages you), instead hover across OR shoot the eye switch for the moving platform in the other room and use the deku flower if you want to save explosives
  31. - We can't do the JS recoil strat to the main room, so drop down one of the holes as deku and land on one of the flowers, then hookshot the center torch and light it with a fire arrow to get to the room before odolwa (or maybe do this at the start of woodfall to get to the gekko more easily? not sure)
  32. - Don't use bomb timestop for deku princess cs skip, use fish or just don't do it; up to you
  33. - Can't goron boost into Great Bay, so just hover over the fence (gfs for isg)
  34. - Do not do marco clip in PR, it makes you void in oob water which does 1 heart of damage, so just void normally

  39. - Woodfall dark room - just quick spin a lot and don't try to rush the torches if you aren't confident you won't get hit
  40. - if scared of getting frozen while doing the ice recoil in TF, can just melt it with fire arrow
  41. - Wart (with isg strat, it's very easy for a bubble to hit you)
