- My understanding is this event has gone from a 500k plus event to barely 300k. I know you are under water with every aspect of the campaign. When the smoke clears I want to speak to you about how we can help on the finance piece. There is a lot of money being left on the ground everywhere and the low dollar piece although improving will be dwarfed by trumps online if he clinches the nomination. FYI the governor wasn't even consulted on this upcoming ct event. He is making it work but he is not happy. The communication piece on the finance committee with the stakeholders is terrible. The core group on the ct piece outside of Chris murphy and Elizabeth have zero ability to produce this at the level it should have been. I didn't send this earlier because you were in he throws of Super Tuesday followed by Michigan. You are going to need all the fundraising assistance you can muster to get through this. The complaints on the lack of inclusiveness and communication is coming from the gadflies. It's coming from serious folks like Dennis Mehiel, Michael Kemper and Ken Sunshine. I'm in nyc all weekend and reachable until Wednesday morning before I leave for Hong Kong for an event I'm hosting. You're doing a great job with the cards you have been dealt. She's lucky to have you.

- FYI To the best of my knowledge Governor Malloy will not be available that night. The venue you have chosen will be chaotic at best and the members I spoke to that are on this invitation claim they were not involved in this decision absent Senator Chris Murphy. There was as with the Pakistani American Doctors zero transparency here and the Governor wasn’t even consulted (who is The Secretary’s and the campaigns greatest ally in Connecticut not to mention the DGA Chair). We will continue to help the Secretary who we adore and this campaign which outside of the campaign finance division is incredibly well run. Good Luck with this event

- Vin,
- I am so sorry. I think we must have crossed signals. I'm not sure when you spoke to Caitlin, but I didn't have a chance to fill her in on my conversation with you. As you and I discussed, our hosts, who have been working together to plan this event for months, prefer we do this event in Washington or Roxbury. The campaign of course wanted you to be a part of the event, which is why I reached out to you on Sunday once we were confident about moving forward with March 18th. We would love to do something at your place in the future, and depending on when we start doing HVF events, maybe that would be a better option. In the meantime, we would love your help with the March 18th event, reaching out to your friends and contacts in NW CT. Let me know if you decide to stay in town.
- Thanks,
- Lisa

- My son Dan Roberti will be available Saturday to meet with you at the House and take you through are thoughts on your potential event. I am reachable by cell. I have put my Hong Kong trip for the 17th on hold pending what the campaign's decision is on Saturday after you have visited all the venues. I also have 3 Michelin star chef Daniel Boulud on hold who has agreed to cook for the event and is aware of the financial constraints etc. Here are some things to consider as it relates to 175 Carter Road in Kent. You have two (2) Great rooms. One on the lower level which houses the wine cellar and two separate suites that have their own separate entrances and would be perfect for 80 to 110 sit down at the 2700 max out level. The upstairs great room can hold 200 plus for a reception for your lower dollar guests. We actually have had more than that for the Library Gala. There are also several secure rooms on that level as well where you can do small clutches for those larger raisers. We do have a designed tented area that could hold 400 for a reception but I think that would be overkill and subject you to iffy weather. As For parking we have ample parking on the road as well as designated areas on the property. We have two (2) former Danbury PD who coordinate the Valet parking for us several times a year for our events. We also have a quest house on the property that has its own great room for clutches. I have copied Vin jr who lives on the property and will also be available on Saturday if you have any questions. Dan can be reached at 860 574 5467 and Vin jr at 860 597 8594. Keep raising!
