Fire and Water (Browser Pone)

You are Firefox Pony living in anon’s home

>You wake up one morning, eager to get master’s daily news and email
>Master was a great user, insisted you call him by his name anon, something you tried to do but continually forgot to do so, but Master didn't really care much in the end, so no harm done by these slip ups
>The fact he was a human never ceased to fascinate you though, there just wasn't anyone else like him around
>Nevertheless you thanked Mozilla for this opportunity
>“Firefox? You up yet?”
>WHAT! HE WAS UP ALREADY?! NONONONO THIS CAN’T STAND I MUST GET THERE NOW!
>You run downstairs and see Master siting at the counter reading the….ugh…”Paper”
“Master? What are you doing up so early? It’s nearly an hour before your usual wakeup time”
>”Firefox I told you to call me anon, I don’t see myself as being better than you in any way and as for this early wakeup, I couldn’t fall back to sleep, so I just started the day early”
“Well you should have woken me up to fetch you the usual”
>Anon shrugged “I didn’t want to wake you”
“Right, so, putting this slight error in time aside, shall I fetch you your News and Email?”
>”No need Fire, you can go back to bed if you want, you deserve a small break”
“But Mas....Anon, nothing makes me happier than to serve you”
>”I’m aware Fire, but really it’s fine, go do something you want to do, it’s fine. Now listen I have to go for a bit, I won’t be home until tonight, so don’t get into any trouble or burn my stuff again ok?”
“Weeell, okay then, please don’t hesitate to call me if you need anything”
>Anon chuckles “Thanks fire, now run along”
>You really don’t do anything, opting to sleep and browse the ponynet
>You hear the door unlock and hear Master and…what sounds like hooves walking with him
>Odd, until you hear the voice of a mare
>Anon went on a date maybe?  How interesting, I should probably hide his browsing history if she ever uses me
>You decide to check out who the mystery mare is
>You tiphoof down the stairs, getting closer to the small chat Master is having with the mystery mare
>You finally see her
“What the…..”
>Master hears you and looks towards you with a small smile, obviously pleased with himself
>”Oh there you are Fire, I have someone for you to meet, this is Waterfox, I guess she can be considered your cousin or sister or something”
>You were in a small shock at the fact Master brought home another browser pony home, was he replacing you? Oh nonononono, why why why! I thought master was happy with me!
“U-um master, w-why did you bring another browser pony? Aren’t I doing a good enough job?” Your voice was beginning to falter a little bit
>”Well actually Fire, it’s just that…”
>You break and your mane lights up a little with the trademark fire you sometimes get when experiencing extreme emotions
“PLEASE DON’T REPLACE ME MASTER! I LIKE SERVING YOU! IT’S WHY MY LIFE HAS MEANING! I…..”
>Master suddenly grabs your face and blows on it
>For some reason that calms you down enough to figure out what he is saying
>”Fire, I’m NOT replacing you, I brought Water home so you wouldn’t be so lonely, I use you a lot and I hate to leave you alone so much after I finish, I figure that I balance browsing between you and Water while you two keep each other company”
>You are hit with a massive wave of relief
“o-oh, ok, that sounds fine”
>”Ok, looks like we finally cleared that up” anon says warmly, “Why don’t you two get acquainted and Fire, transfer over all my logins to water, that should take a while so…”
>Water finally pipes up “Actually Master, I can share Firefox’s profile, so no transfer needed”
>Anon has a look of genuine surprise “Oh well  that’s that then, why don’t you two get acquainted while I go do some last minute errands I forgot about, I’ll be back later”
>”Goodbye Master!” both you and Waterfox chime at the same time, you both stare at each other as master left
>After about 5 minutes of awkward silence you decide to break the Ice
“So…Waterfox eh? No offense but you sound like a cheap copy of me”
>Waterfox looks unfazed by the comment and responds “Well, I’m a 64-bit variant of you designed to work faster and more stable in some aspects, although I do admit I’m lacking in certain fields
>You find it interesting and start asking questions, this goes on for a few hours, well after anon comes home, happy at the sudden friendship you two are beginning to form
>A few weeks pass with anon dividing up the work between you and water, you end up sharing everything you both do with master bringing you closer, working hard to make sure master has the best browsing experience that you can provide
>At first you and Water slept in separate ends of the room you were given, but your growing friendship allows you both to be comfortable enough to share a big bed master so graciously provides, very eager to help your friendship with Water along
>You have to admit, it’s pleasant having Water around, due to her being so much like you it’s easy to find common interests, you start doing so many things together, eating, browsing the web, watching television, going outdoor for walks (something Master has been pushing a lot in an effort to get us out of the house more)
>You eventually reach the point where you two start talking about your personal lives to each other (as small as they were) even gossiping about Master sometimes, something you found amusing to do
>One day while talking with water she suddenly starts talking about master
>”Hey Fire, have you noticed how much Master tries to make us do things together?
“What do you mean?”
>”Like with the bed, the walks outside, the meals where he places our chairs REALLY close together”
“Huh, well I’m sure master is just doing it to help our friendship, which isn't a bad thing! I LOVE hanging out with you know”
>You suddenly hug Waterfox and let go before she could react
>Waterfox giggles “Yes, I love spending time with you as well, but the more I think about it, he may be trying to hook us up”
>Your pupils go small and you stare at Water
“What”
>”When master took me here he said something which I didn't really pay much attention to, but makes sense if we see it this way” Waterfox responds with a pensive look on her face
“What did he say?” You ask with a sudden interest
> Waterfox looks out into empty space as she recounted ”That he felt you were not getting enough attention and that you don’t really have anyone special for yourself”
>You frown
“What? But I didn't feel neglected or lonely”
>Waterfox snaps back to reality “Well regardless that’s what he felt, but even if it wasn’t true, we both gained a lot from each other, I mean we’re pretty much BFF’s aren't we?”
>You eagerly respond
“Yes we are, oh and I got an idea”
>”I’m listening” Water responds with a slightly piqued interest
“Want to prank Master and make him think his plan worked?”
>Waterfox blushed a little “O-oh, you want to make him think we actually built a real relationship?”
>You stare at the slightly flushed Waterfox while you concoct your plan in your mind
“Yes precisely that, it’s almost April 1’st and I think I know how we can do it”
>Waterfox stammers, which you find odd but cute “W-well alright t-then”
>A few days and much planning later you and Waterfox are ready
>The plan was to lay on top of each other on the couch (a detail Waterfox so graciously suggested)while you “pretended” to kiss when master walked through the door, then as he commented about it, pelt him with a water balloon followed by a tickle storm on Master’s sides
>The day came and you were keeping watched on the window, waiting for master to show up, Waterfox was right next to you looking a little nervous, but you attributed that to being nervous about the prank
>I SEE MASTER! HES COMING ROUND THE CORNER!
>Waterfox visibly tensed up
“Water, stop stalling, let’s go, c’mon, you want top or bottom?”
>Waterfox hastily replies
>”m-maybe this isn't such a good idea, w-what if m-master gets m-mad”
>You roll your eyes and reply
“Of course he’s going to get mad, but he’ll have a good laugh in the end, now come up here on top of me and nuzzle me, that should look like we’re making out”
>Waterfox nods and slowly approaches Firefox
>She slowly climbed on top of Fire, scrunching her face while savoring the closeness
>You notice her hind leg is awkwardly positioned putting pressure on your hip joint
“Water, get your hind leg away from my hip, you’ll dislocate my leg
>Waterfox complies
>The door opens as Anon walks in the door
>You curse yourself for not reacting, but Waterfox takes care of that for you
>She plants her lips on yours and assaults your tongue with her own
>What the, nope, this is not part of the plan
>Waterfox’s eyes are closed and she’s beginning to grind you
>Anon’s stares don’t seem to stop Water, while she continues her assault on you, but you finally push her off
>You don’t think water’s blush could get any bigger
>She finally speaks up after quickly looking at you and master
>”Oh Alex, what have I done, I’m so sorry Fire I….”
>Waterfox suddenly runs to your room and locks the door
>Anon’s gaze falls to Firefox who is currently trying to process what just happened
>”Uhhhh…Fire? What just happened here?”
>You manage to get over your shock to answer
“I have no bucking idea”
>Anon responds with a sense of urgency
>”Well I’m going to leave the house to you two for a few hours, so fix this, you two are such good friends so…..”
>You stop Masters little speech
“master, did you bring Waterfox over to hook me up to her?”
>Anon suddenly gets a concerned look on his face
>”Hook up is such a dirty word, I just thought that maybe it was time to set you up with a pony you would like, I mean I didn't want you to be alone all your life”
“But master I wasn't alone, I was your browser and we have such a good life”
>”I know Fire, I know, I guess this wasn't such a good idea. I can return her and have her memory wiped after filling out a few forms of you want, although that will probably not happen since they reserve that for the most extreme cases”
“No master it’s ok, I’ll talk with Water, she obviously HAS something for me. I’ll try to see how this plays out”
>With that anon left wishing Firefox luck
>A few minutes later after composing herself Fire knocked on the door of the room Waterfox locked herself into, and to her surprise Water unlocked the door and emerged
>She looked like hammered shit, mane frazzled, eyes puffy beyond recognition, etc.
>She stared at Firefox muttering nonsensical apologies
>Fire couldn't take seeing Waterfox like this
>She quickly moved forward and gave Waterfox the biggest hug she could possibly muster
>Waterfox accepted the gesture and sobbed into Fire’s mane for a few minutes before she calmed down
>She didn't seem like she was up for talking Firefox thought to herself, maybe some rest would do her some good
>She led Waterfox to their bed where she tucked Waterfox in, then jumped in herself cradling Water from behind
[spoiler]SURPRISE ANSCHLUSS[/spoiler]
>Waterfox mistook this for a romantic affection and turned around to plant another kiss on Fire
>This time Firefox saw it coming, and stopped her, beginning to question her
“Water, what do you feel about me?”
>Waterfox responded clearly while stroking Firefox’s mane and face
>”I think you are the most beautiful, funny, smartest pony I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, I’d do anything to be with you”
“I don’t understand, why wait until now, is that why you were so jumpy when we planned this….prank?”
>”Yes Fire, after we talked about Anon’s intentions for introducing us to each other I just felt this realization hit me, all this time we've spent together has been the happiest I've ever been in my whole life, I knew then that I wanted to be with you, but you being so……all over the place…… I couldn't bring myself to tell you
“Can you explain what happened a few minutes ago then?”
>”I don’t know, being so close to you sort of clouded my mind, and when anon came in, something sparked and….I kissed you”
“I…see….”
>”Please don’t hate me, it was so inconsiderate of me to do that, just please don’t hate me…”
>Waterfox was on the verge of tears again
“shh….no don’t worry I don’t hate you”
>You got close to Water and held her, cooing into her ear to calm her down.
>Waterfox got quiet after a few minutes and you felt her shift, thinking she was going to turn around to sleep
>You feel a tingling sensation on your neck as you feel Waterfox begin to nuzzle you
>You think about stopping her, but you begin having small flashbacks at what you and Water have been through. Granted it wasn't THAT much, but it was enough to build this very strong friendship between you
>Waterfox was always so kind and fun to be around, she looked a bit like you but she has her own features and her own personality, you’d love to share more of you with her
>In reaction you lift your head a little allowing Waterfox more access to your neck, but she stops, giving you a quick peck in the lips
>”Good night Fire, we have much to do later on, but for now let’s see where we go”
>With that she turns around and scoots close to you allowing you to hug her from behind and hold her hooves
>About an hour later anon arrived home and went to the ponies bedroom and saw them cuddled together sleeping soundly with small smiles on their faces
>”Good for you girls……”
