  6. Mulai dari subnet yang membutuhkan host paling banyak yaitu Green Net dengan 30 host.
  7. 2n – 2 ≥ 30 , maka n = 5 dimana 25-2 = 30 ≥ 30. Ini menandakan bahwa kita butuh 5 bit untuk host identity (192.168.8.11xxxxxx),dan sisa 3 bit ditambahkan ke network identity.
  8. Kita mendapatkan 2 subnet dari jaringan aslinya :
