  1. <DM> LAST TIME....... short session, but anywhoo...
  2. <DM> You encountered the Great Poe of Doom! And after phasing through the walls of the Temple of Temple, you found the whole place was an illusion. You came up with a plan to whittle down the Great Poe in an effort to kill off the pile of corpses it's dragging along, so Dan and Strife became the decoy group while you and Monroe decided to try and snipe it from afar.
  3. <DM> You and Monroe headed to the three-story buildings, and you managed to snipe off a few corpses, but not before getting sniped back by the Great Poe. You fell off one of the buildings, and you landed in an alleyway engulfed in darkness.

  6. <DM> You decided to head farther into that darkness, where you encountered a loading screen.

  15. <DM> *You feel a pain from the injury you sustained from the Great Poe's attack. To the north, you can see the Labyrinth covering the plaza (the area around the fountain). To the south is a veil of complete darkness, unlike Mr. Popo.*

  17. <DM> *It seems worn down, similar to the other worn down buildings.*
  18. <DM> *Some vines are crawling up it, though close to the darkness, those vines appear to be decaying.*

  21. * Sephiroth turns around and inspects the west wall
  22. <DM> *It's the same thing, with a different variation. Worn down, vines covering parts of it, with the vines closer to the darkness decaying.*

  24. <DM> *The vine feels moldy, but soft and living.*
  25. * Sephiroth sets us up a bomb.

  35. * Sephiroth walks 2 doors down and pokes the door to his left.
  36. <DM> *The door takes 1 damage, and it asks Kefka why someone would do that.*
  37. <Kefka> Read my lips - mercy is for wimps! There's a reason "oppose" rhymes with "dispose"...If they get in your way, kill them!
  38. <DM> *The door explodes spontaneously before your might.*
  39. * Sephiroth walks through the doorway.
  40. <DM> *It's a wide room, with multiple doors into it, aka the ones you just past and the one you entered from. Tables are set up all across it. However, on the other side of the room on the long wall... is a set of windows. Bright, blinding light appears to be periodically flashing from the windows, illuminating the room entirely for brief instants.*
  41. <DM> *You can make out faint outlines of figures standing in front of the windows, every time it flashes.*
  42. * Sephiroth thinks to himself. "Tables, eh?"
  43. * Sephiroth attempts to flip the nearest table!

A brief flash of light shows a dark figure getting slammed in the face by your epic table flip. The table and the figure blast through the windows, causing whatever it was to take 22 damage.*
  53. <DM> *The lighting from what was behind the windows stops, and all you can see is the infinite veil of darkness that you saw from the alleyway. Sound appears to not exist in that direction.*
  54. <DM> *There's a sudden scream to you left. The sound of something haunting causing a startling shriek, unpleasant to the ears. However, part of the shriek gets droned out by the darkness, which begins to slowly encroach its way into the room, as if devouring the room itself.*
  55. * Sephiroth retreats back into the hallway and pokes the door straight across from him.
  56. <DM> *The door slowly creaks open in agonizing pain before dying and falling down before you.*
  57. * Sephiroth enters the doorway.
  58. <DM> -=ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED! Made a door cry and scream before you until it died. You gain 5 Experience and 25 Rupees!*
  59. <Sephiroth> (lol)
  60. <DM> *You enter the doorway, and you find yourself... in the exact same room? However, you find yourself entering from the left side of the room instead of the right side of the room. The "edits" you caused are not there. Flashes of light periodically light the room up for brief instants, revealing two dark figures, just like the other room.*

  66. <DM> *All sound in the room seems to get sucked out into the direction of the dark figure. Its eyes glow red, and it smiles. It begins to slowly walk towards you, as the windows behind it flashes beams of continuous lights, lighting up the room, save for the dark figures.*
  67. <DM> *They seem to be humanoid, but hunched over. They're made entirely of darkness, and they continue to smile creepily and slowly move towards you.*
  68. * Sephiroth exits the room and runs back towards the alleyway.
  69. <DM> *You run back towards the alleyway, but the exit leads to... that weird conference-type room, like you were just in for the previous two rooms.*
  70. * Sephiroth flips a table for the third time, aiming it directly at the fourth wall.

  76. <DM> *The table slams into the fourth wall. The fourth wall crashes down, revealing what appears to be a family of those dark figures, varying in different heights. The taller ones are smiling, while the smaller ones are frowning, looking up towards the larger ones.*
  77. <DM> *You find yourself surrounded by these dark figures, all of them staring at you. They all walk towards you, slowly.*
  78. * Sephiroth holds up a sign: "Uh oh..."
  79. <DM> *The only thing in the room that's audible are their footsteps.*
  80. <DM> *Suddenly, you hear a crashing noise from somewhere. There's also someone saying something in a panicked voice, coming towards you along with a flurry of fleeting footsteps.*
  81. <DM> *The figures continue their pace towards you, and the sound goes back to being blocked out entirely.*
  82. <DM> *The closest one, a small one, is about 4 feet from your foot. It seems to be reaching for it, its frown turning gradually into a smile with fangs.*
  83. <DM> *You hear a voice... different from the panicking one. It sounds like the Great Poe, from when it found you all earlier, back in the Temple of Temple.*
  84. <DM> [???]: It's tooooo laaaate. You've entered my domaaaaaaaain.
  85. <DM> [???]: You cannot escape... you will not escape.
  86. <DM> [???]: You will die here, and turn into the shadows of these once-residents-
  87. * Sephiroth tries to run for the door.

  94. <DM> *You hear, from the direction of the large dark figure... "GRAB ON TIGHT!"*
  95. * Sephiroth reaches for the chain.
  96. <DM> *You grab the chain. It starts reeling in towards the direction it fired.*
  97. <DM> [???]: You cannot escape... you will not-
  98. <DM> *You escape, and you land up back in the alleyway you were just in, with Monroe right next to you.*

  101. <Sephiroth> "Well, the bathroom in that building is occupied..."
  102. * Monroe grabs his Megaton Hammer and slams the wall into Building Q.*

  116. <DM> *A large shockwave turns the creepypasta building and the set of buildings next to it to dust, and the shockwave rushes in behind you. Monroe, you manage to escape the shockwave. Sephiroth, the edge of the shockwave hits you just slightly, causing you to tumble and barrel roll down the hallway.*

  122. * Monroe draws his Diamond Breaker. Its Searing Flames serves as a torch, lighting the area up a bit.
  123. <Monroe> Whew! Nearly suicided on me own bomb!
  124. <DM> *Monroe, where did you get that bomb and where can I find some of it.*
  125. * Sephiroth pulls out a torch. :P
  126. <DM> *Your torch lights itself. It doesn't set anything on fire, and illuminates the room better than Monroe's sword. There's a door on either side of you (left or right), just to your left (but still in front of you) is a stairway leading up.*
  127. <Monroe> So, just blew up a dozen zombie folk! What'd I miss?
  128. <Sephiroth> Flippin' Tables.
  129. * Sephiroth Shades.
  130. <Monroe> Huh. That's cool.
  131. <DM> *One of the dark figures screams as it turns into your shades. It disappears with style, leaving you with a sense of feeling cool, unlike Fireblast124.*
  132. <Sephiroth> Oh, and poking doors and causing them to scream in agony before spontaneously combusting.
  133. <Monroe> That's... interesting.
  134. * Sephiroth pokes the door to his right.
  135. <DM> *The door doesn't scream. It just crumbles and turns to dust, choking from its own particles before suffocating and leaving a trail of tears behind.*
  136. <DM> .......... oh god dangit
  137. <DM> did I
  138. <DM> ..... did I just do that
  139. * DM wallows in his self-despair as a result of doing something horrible.
  140. * Sephiroth enters the trail of tears.
  141. <DM> *You find a bunch of Nativ-
  142. <DM> *You find a room.*
  143. * DM runs.
  144. * Sephiroth kicks DM out the window.

  146. <DM> *It appears to be a bedroom, vines crawling over everything. The bed is in ruins, the torches on the walls are rotting, a bookshelf on the side is completely collapsed, and several would-be tables are complete rubble.*
  147. <DM> *There is a painting above the bed. It's dusty, but it remains intact.*
  148. <Monroe> Hey...
  149. * Sephiroth hears the phrase, and begins staring at the art.
  150. <Monroe> Mind if we blow up this room too?
  151. <DM> *The painting shows a grown man with a trimmed mustache, standing tall and having his arms resting on two children next to you. His eyes are squinted and he's got a large, proud smile on. He looks strikingly like Monroe, only not as bulky and wide.*

  154. * Monroe is staring at the ground, as if refusing to look at the picture.
  155. <Monroe> ... I don't like this place. Let's just... nuke it all.

  157. * Monroe lights a bomb. He looks at it with cold eyes as a teardrop slowly falls down his cheek. He looks at the painting briefly before placing the bomb next to it.
  158. * Monroe mutters...
  159. <Monroe> To hell with my name as the Lone Survivor...
  160. <Monroe> Let's go.
  161. * Monroe heads out of the room and goes up the stairs.
  162. * Sephiroth follows.
  163. <DM> *You reach the second floor when you hear the bomb explode from downstairs. You hear a crashing sound from the room to your left, and the door falls inwards into the pile of rubble.*
  164. <Monroe> Well well well... no time to rest, eh?
  165. <DM> *There's a shrieking noise. Across the other side of the hallway is a Gibdo and a Redead, their eyes planted on you both.*

  168. * Monroe unpops the cork on one of his Deep Red Potions and splashes it onto Sephiroth.

  911. <Monroe> Blew up half the place, killed a bunch o' zombies, and blew up that darn Poe down there finally, all thanks to Seph here! Oh, and got one of them blue shiny gems.

  916. <Monroe> Why don't we all head up to the Castle, see if Zelda is willin' to give up the shard she's holdin' onto so we can combine all these?

  918. * Sephiroth holds up Oblivion

  920. <Sephiroth> "What do we do about this one, being embedded in the sword?"
  921. <Monroe> Huh, won'er if Eldin can chip it out... he's always got a bunch o' gems in 'is weapons.

  932. * Sephiroth exits the Inn, and heads towards the castle.
  933. <DM> (auto-travel to Throne Room?)
  934. * Gurloz follows behind.
  935. <Gurloz> (yes)
  936. <DM> *Thanks to Monroe being with you given his status, you all are able to reach the Throne Room at the top of Hyrule Castle's Keep.*
  937. <DM> *Two grand, gold-plated doors lined with diamonds stands before you. It's creaked open slighty, and you can hear a male voice speaking from inside, frustrated.*
  938. <Monroe> ... uh-oh...
  939. <Monroe> Uhh... I'll knock... let's just hope Eldin ain't too ticked off today.
  940. * Monroe knocks on the door using a specific 7-knock pattern.
  941. <DM> *After a brief pause of silence, you hear a female voice say, "You may enter, Monroe."*
  942. * Monroe speaks through the crack in the door.
  943. <Monroe> Brought some friends with me, hope ya don't mind...
  944. <DM> *Without Monroe pushing on the door, the door automatically opens as if some magical force pushes it open.*
  945. * Sephiroth enters.
  946. * Gurloz enters.
  947. * Monroe enters.
  948. <DM> *You enter the grand Throne Room, walking upon a red carpet at the entrance. There's a checkboard floor pattern, and the ceiling extends 50 feet above you, with elegant and exquisite candle-lit chanedeliers. There's a large, glass-stained window on the opposite end of the room, from which the sun's light breathes life into the room. In front of the window is the grand throne chair. It stands twice as tall as any one of you.*
  949. <DM> *To the side of the chair stands a beautiful woman with blondish-brown hair and wearing the Royal Dress, fitting for a princess. To the side of her is a disgruntled man that looks older and more scarred than Monroe. He glares at you all as you enter.*
  950. * Monroe bows to them both.
  951. <Monroe> Princess Zelda... Lord Eldin...
  952. * X__X is now known as Zelda
  953. * Sephiroth bows as well.
  954. * Gurloz bows as well.
  955. * Zelda bows back. The one next to her looks off to the side with his arms crossed.
  956. <Zelda> Do not heed him any ill will. Eldin is just a little worried for me, that's all.
  957. <Zelda> What may I do for you all?
  958. <Monroe> You got that Nayru's Love Shard, right?
  959. <DM> Yes, I do.
  960. <Monroe> Well...
  961. * Monroe steps back, letting Sephiroth and Gurloz take the floor.
  962. <Monroe> These two managed to collect the other four.
  963. * Sephiroth shows Oblivion, as well as the shard he's holding on to.
  964. <DM> (GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALLLLLLL)
  965. * Gurloz reveals the other two.
  966. * Zelda is taken back slightly.
  967. * X___X is now known as Eldin
  968. * Eldin turns towards you two, his grumpiness turning to surprise.
  969. * Eldin grows a look of slight anger, directing it at Sephiroth.
  970. <Eldin> So, you're so greedy, that you place it into your sword. Fine, why don't we-
  971. * Sephiroth explains how it ended up in the sword."
  972. * Zelda snaps her fingers, and a wall of light surrounds Eldin.
  973. <Zelda> Please Eldin, stop being so quick to judge!
  974. * Zelda bows to Sephiroth, apologizing for Eldin's rather rude behavior.
  975. <Zelda> I'm sorry, he's not normally this bad!
  976. <Eldin> Grr...
  977. <Zelda> So, it's stuck...
  978. <Monroe> Ahem... figured err.. Lord Eldin could pry that out... what with all those gems in your lances.

  980. <Eldin> *ahem*
  981. <DM> *The barrier around him drops, and he puts on a glove with a magic circle on its palm.*
  982. * Eldin reaches into his palm with his other hand, pulling out one of his lances, as if pulling it out of an alternate dimension.
  983. <Eldin> Place the sword on the ground.
  984. * Sephiroth places Oblivion on the ground before him.
  985. * Eldin raises his lance... and thrusts it down onto the Nayru's Love Shard embedded into Oblivion's hilt.

  987. <Navi> Eldin: You rolled 97 Dice with 10 Sides. Total: 513. Successes: 68.
  988. <DM> *There's an eletric discharge followed by a shockwave, knocking everyone back. Eldin is flung into the wall behind him, but he recovers.*
  989. <DM> *The gem is no longer in Oblivion's hilt... but now it glows red. You can all hear voices, similar to the voices of Poes, echoing throughout the room.*
  990. * Zelda raises a dark orange gem, and she fires a blast of fire at the gem.
  991. <Zelda> $112d10
  992. <Navi> Zelda: You rolled 112 Dice with 10 Sides. Total: 601. Successes: 74.
  993. <DM> *The fires swirl inside of the gem, as three more barriers, one of light, one of arcane energy, and one made of gold dust, all cover the gem.*
  994. * Zelda sighs an air of relief.
  995. <Eldin> The heck was that?!
  996. <Monroe> That... didn't seem good.
  997. <Zelda> It's not...
  998. * Sephiroth is confused by the events that occurred.
  999. <Zelda> ... you said you got this from the Catacombs?
  1000. <Sephiroth> "Yes."
  1001. <Monroe> Yeah. Big frigin' poe down there.
  1002. * Zelda pulls out her Nayru's Love Shard.
  1003. <Zelda> When I encountered this one, it kept crystallizing everything it touched, but when those beings were destroyed, the shard was silenced.
  1004. <Zelda> Did this shard crystallize anything?
  1005. <Sephiroth> "No."
  1006. <Monroe> Uhh.. wait, Dan mentioned somethin'...
  1007. <Monroe> He said there was a crystallized Poe, but he hadn't seen it since...
  1008. <Zelda> Then, before we can combine these gems...
  1009. <Zelda> That Poe must be defeated first.
  1010. <Monroe> Wait, you're tellin' me that one we just beat wasn't the one that got crystallized?
  1011. <DM> *You recall that the Poe you defeated remarked about being defeated by the power of those gems... once before, as well.*
  1012. <Sephiroth> "That poe, when we defeated it, remarked about beind defeated by these gems once before.."
  1013. <Zelda> For now, I will hold onto these gems and keep them safe.
  1014. <Zelda> Oh?
  1015. * Eldin seems shocked.
  1016. * Sephiroth eats TYPOES for breakfast.
  1017. <Eldin> Wait... that gem....
  1018. <Eldin> It protected the Triforce... in the past, 20 years ago....
  1019. <Eldin> Was that Poe an Interloper?!
  1020. * Sephiroth head-scratch.
  1021. <DM> (It mentioned being an Interloper twice)
  1022. <DM> (once when it appeared, once as it died)

  1025. <Zelda> ... it may be an Interloper as well.
  1026. * Eldin yells to the ceiling suddenly.
  1027. <Eldin> YOU DAMN GODDESSES, DO YOU JOB CORRECTLY!
  1028. * Zelda ignores Eldin's banter, though there's a clear look of disdain on her face.
  1029. <Zelda> Thank you for bringing this news to me.
  1030. <Zelda> I'll ask the Kokiri to see if they can track the Poe down. When they do, can I ask of your assistance again in neutralizing?
  1031. <DM> *neutralizing it
  1032. <Sephiroth> "Sure."
  1033. <Gurloz> "Sure."
  1034. <Monroe> Count me. I'm always good fer Poe Hunting.
  1035. * Zelda smiles lightly.

  1037. * Zelda kicks Eldin in the shin lightly.

  1039. <DM> *There's an electric ZAP with her kick. Seems her Smash skills have transferred over to ZURPG. Don't mess with Zelda.*

  1053. * Eldin steps out of the room, stomping his way out.
  1054. * Sephiroth bows to Zelda and exits, stage right.
  1055. * Gurloz bows to Zelda and exits, stage left.
  1056. * Zelda exits the Throne Room, stage center...... wait what.
  1057. <DM> *The door naturally closes behind her, locking with magical forces with a loud slam. The princess walks on down, away from the Throne Room and down the stairs. As she leaves, you can hear her humming a tune.... your characters don't recognize it, but you, as the players, recognize it as the Legend of Zelda theme.*
  1058. <Monroe> Back to me shop, then. See ya folks later!
  1059. * Monroe pats you both on the back and heads out himself.
