  1. Hi, my name is Michael. I've been a steam user for just over 2 years now, having played TF2 the whole time. I've logged about 1500 hours in it(most on engineer), and bought my fair share of hats. I love this game. You guys do a great job on it.

  4. So, on to the Eureka Effect. I'm an engineer main, and this used to be one of my favorite weapons. In the past, it was a great weapon allowing for a fast paced, smart and sneaky play style. In the Love and War update, it received a different set of stats and attributes changing it signifigantly.
  5.
  6. It was given the ability to move buildings and to teleport directly to your exit teleporter, in exchange for upgrading and repairing your buildings twice as slow. This slows the playstyle of this wrench down tremendously. What was once a wrench that allowed you to be sneaky, aggressive, and clever now requires you to spend the majority of your time holding down M1 with your wrench on your buildings.

  8. I propose a tweak to the stats:
  9.
  10.
  11. Eureka Effect:
  12.
  13. +Can Teleport to Spawn or Exit Teleporter
  14.
  15. +Can Move Buildings
  16.
  17. -Buildings cannot be upgraded past level 2
  18.
  19. (Regular Upgrade/Repair Speed)
  20.
  21.
  22. This would once again allow for a sneaky, fast paced, aggressive playstyle. You get extra mobility in exchange for a level cap on your buildings, making them somewhat less permanent and powerful, but if placed in the right places(which you can access easier with your extra mobility...), potentially just as deadly or useful as level 3 buildings in standard, passive places.

  24.
  25. Anyways, that's just a suggestion. I appreciate you guys taking the time to ready my email, I'm sure you get many every day. If you have time to respond, please do, and let me know what you think.
  26.
  27.
  28. Thanks again.
  29.
  30. -Michael (aka CenturyD)
