* The Bartender raises an eyebrow, but serves her quickly. "Anything else, Ma'am?"
Halete > /emote broods in thought, holding both hands over her scalp before finally shaking her head.
* The Bartender backs off but sits within easy speaking range of her.
Halete > /emote uncertainly picks up her glass and begins to drink.
* The Bartender watches her and debates for a moment before speaking "Everything alright, Ma'am?"
Halete > /emote glares at the man at first, but then her expression softens. She looks down for some time, only looking at him again when she has an answer.
Halete > What is 'alright'?
*The Bartender looks like this answer was highly unexpected but ventures to reply "Well... 'alright' is when nothing much is terribly wrong, Ma'am."
Halete > /emote nods slowly, appreciating the answer. She considers this carefully and leans forwards, riveting her fingers through her hair. She sharply intakes a shaky breath as if about to start crying, but doesn't.
Halete > I think I'd like to know what 'alright' feels like.
