- ok so I am giving a social media talk @ BSIDES SF next month.
- I am going to focus on outing the major players of the anonymous group I think.
- Afterall - no secrets right? :)
- We will see how far I get.
- I may focus on NSA a bit to just so I can give all those freespeech nutjobs something.
- I just called people advocating freespeech, nutjobs - I threw up in my mouth a little.
- Man I find myself in a weird position....anyway.

- I would assume you were use to weird positions by now. :)

- Every time you use this it just erodes the American sense of personal liberty for what you believe is security.
- -Mark
- __________________________________________________________________________________________
- We don't have liberty or security.... so what is the point.
- -Aaron

- Your right. Lets just give up the fight all around.
- What does it take for evil men to rise to power again?
- Jefferson would be proud of you.
- -Mark
- __________________________________________________________________________________________
- But dude whos evil?
- US Gov? Wikileaks? Anonymous?
- Its all about power. The Wikileaks and Anonymous guys think they are doing the people justice by without much investigation or education exposing information or targeting organizations? BS. Its about trying to take power from others and give it to themeselves.
- I follow one law.
- Mine.
- -Aaron
- __________________________________________________________________________________________
- Our entire government was set up on the idea of "trying to take power from others and give it to themselves" The founders stated it implicitly. The idea was for the states to fight the federal gov and to fight amongst themselves so nothing would every be accomplished except for when it absolutely needed to be. That's why the government is told what it can do not what it can not. Anything not stated is suppose to be out of the governments hands. Where any law to a citizen is suppose to be what you can't do so that you can do whatever you want without infringing apon the freedoms and liberties of other citizens. A non transparent government does nothing but keep the citizens uninformed and unable to make an educated vote. Your one law statement makes it sound like you believe you know what's best. That's a slippery slope.

- Jefferson was an idealist that lived in a very different time.
- And he had slaves...
- -Aaron
- __________________________________________________________________________________________
- What's wrong with striving to reach idealist principles? Even if you don't make it the end result is a hell of a lot better.
- They would be employees by todays standards and all that happened is we all agreed on a code of conduct pushed out by unions. Unions being that large group that stood up at one time to make a change. Which goes back to my other point of when the government is suppose to make changes.
- -Mark
- __________________________________________________________________________________________
- Nothing is wrong with it. But doing it recklessly is as bad as those wanting to squash ideals.
- The unions started with a good idea and then got corrupted because power does that to everyone. With wikileaks and anonymous they corrupted faster. O believed in what wikileaks did when they released the helicopter video. I now believe they are a menace. Anonymous employees. When they took down MasterCard do u think they thought alright win one for the small guy! The first thought through most of their malcontented minds was a rush of power. That's not ideals.
- In most cases u don't fix the system by breaking the system. The issues are complex and vast and these naive individuals are weakening an already weakened system. I believe in very little of what they are doing and don't think it has much to do with ideals.
