  1. [3/12/2014 7:00:07 PM] TheWanderingZebra: ... Tribals. Many ponies can think of them as only uncivilized people, behind in an era where the world had advanced far ahead of them. But they far more than the label of "uncivilized savages" that they are called by their more modern peers.
  2. [3/12/2014 7:01:34 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Tribal life, to those who live together, is civilization. Together they are families of families, willing to fight for one another and protect those who threaten them. And it is here in the tribe of the Jangwa would our heroes(?) learn exactly the threats they face.

  5. As we last left our group had they reached the Jangwa promised to have assistance in their quest for return of assisting their people from a slaver threat. Around the tribal village could they see dry blood on some of the wooden huts with bullet holes leaving their marks, as well as about four graves that appeared to be made for whomever had fallen in the attack.

  7. [3/12/2014 7:04:21 PM] Solid Snake: Darling looks to the sky. "...What time is it?"
  8. [3/12/2014 7:05:07 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Marjani was leading everyone but Amber to his elder, while Amber was let into a different hut by the zebra mare missing an eye, seeing a patient appearing to have been recovering from a wound he received.
  9. [3/12/2014 7:05:07 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli observes the little village...so far so good he suposes.
  10. [3/12/2014 7:05:33 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The sun is still up, though the sky has darkened a bit now.
  11. [3/12/2014 7:05:56 PM] Schorcht: Cherry follows along taking in the scene of carnage. "This is just wrong..."
  12. [3/12/2014 7:06:32 PM] Solid Snake: Aark pauses to look at the bullet holes, and snorts.
  13. [3/12/2014 7:07:05 PM] Dusk: The griffon growls as he takes a sniff of the air. Not that it did very much, but to smell the carnage. "We've got our work cut out for us, it seems."

  18. [3/12/2014 7:10:06 PM] Schorcht: Cherry nods. "Actually, we are here to make a name for ourselves in this land. Respect goes a long way. Plus doing good ain't bad either"

  20. [3/12/2014 7:10:25 PM] The Custodian: "And we will then decide wether we do it or not. We are talking." she rolls her eyes "Or do we need to argue this again?"

  22. [3/12/2014 7:11:07 PM] Dusk: Dirge rolls his eyes at Aark. "YOU aren't a merc. But Cherry is right. We need to get on the good side of the locals."

  28. [3/12/2014 7:14:53 PM] Schorcht: Cherry nods. "Perhaps in the Wasteland.... this ain't the Wasteland dude... new threats, new means to overcome them. And only way to learn is through trial and error, OR have someone tell you" She extends her hoof and expresses it towards the locals.

  31. Amber could see her patient had suffered a bullet wound in the abdomen. You could see that it was patched up with bandages poorly given that you could see blood soaking it.

  33. [3/12/2014 7:16:48 PM] Dusk: Dirge smirks as he looks at Aark. "I think you should, though if you do, make sure to leave Darlin with us. She has a better chance of surviving."
  34. [3/12/2014 7:17:26 PM] The Custodian: "INdeed, lead us there" she huffs, eager to get this all going

  39. [3/12/2014 7:19:16 PM | Edited 7:19:32 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Oh dear," she looks at the bleeding wound and then turns to the bandaged Zebra. "This looks like a bullet wound, did anyzebra remove the bullet before dressing the wound?" she asked.
  40. [3/12/2014 7:19:35 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Marjani facehoofed himself. "Why did I bother bringing you all?" He then looked at Kivuli. "And what exactly is a zebra like you doing with these ponies?"

  45. [3/12/2014 7:21:53 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Our medic got killed in the ambush, and I did all I could to treat him, but I didn't know how to remove it." The mare with a lost eye said to Amber.

  47. [3/12/2014 7:23:01 PM] Schorcht: "Fine. Stay outside and just... watch guard... or protect Darlin. If you choose to abstain from our extra affairs please do not halter them then." She explains to Aark. "Lets meet with the elders then, shall we?"

"Well then, we'll need to remove the bullet from the wound, sanitize it, then re-dress it." she says before going to operate on the injured zebra.

  64. [3/12/2014 7:27:38 PM] Dusk: Dirge was about to say something, but...he knows that ponies are stubborn bastards. Instead, he lets Aark go, turning his attention to Marjani. "Let's jus tget this over with, before he has another bitch fit."

  72. [3/12/2014 7:33:06 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Sad, you were the more likable one: because you were the more quiet. Very well. Make sure your friend doesn't do anything he'll regret." Marjani said to Kivuli.

  88. [3/12/2014 7:34:54 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Amber succeeds in treating the patient, who cringes a bit but seems to relax as his wound was properly healed. The mare with the lost eye gave a breath of relief. "Thank you, I was worried that Jelani would perish."
  89. [3/12/2014 7:36:18 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Marjani actually seems more relieved, now he doesn't have to deal with his elder having to speak with Aark. He leads Dirge, Cherry, Sprocket, and Valliant into his elder's hut, who appears to be an elderly zebra stallion who appeared to be meditating ... or asleep.

  92. Aark pauses, put put tobbaco chew in his mouth. "......she's alright." Which may be the hight compliment Aark can give anypony.
  93. [3/12/2014 7:36:59 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Of course, i'm happy to help." she says giving a slight smile. "Make sure he stays off his hooves so as to not aggravate and re-open the wound." "Are there any more that need medical treatment?" she asks the mare.
  94. [3/12/2014 7:37:10 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli attempts to maintain sight distance without being seen.
  95. [3/12/2014 7:37:19 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "You seem quite strong." A zebra mare said to Aark as she trots toward him ... nervously. "Um ... you're here to assist us no?"
  96. [3/12/2014 7:38:14 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The mare nods to Amber. "Indeed, in another hut. I never got your name. It would be rude of me not to know the name of a ze- pony who helped our people."
  97. [3/12/2014 7:38:50 PM] The Custodian: Valliant continues to wait for the zebra to lead them
  98. [3/12/2014 7:40:29 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Oh, erm, my name is Amber, Amber Sun." she says introducing herself to the mare. "May I ask for your name as well Ms...?"
  99. [3/12/2014 7:41:13 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "... So, visitors from a foreign land." The elderly zebra said to Dirge, Cherry, and Valliant. "What reasons do you come here?" He asked.

  101. "Imamu, these ponies claim they could help us in return for learning about the lore of the Ebony Kingdom." Marjani said to him.

  103. "... The Ebony Kingdom? Where did you hear such tales of it?" Imanu asked the group in front of him.
  104. [3/12/2014 7:41:33 PM] Solid Snake: Kivuli would see the duo walk about. It's unknown if they have a destination, they so far seem to be exploring the village.

Imanu was at first weirded at the sight of the machine ... and further weired at seeing Cherry's wings ... and Valliant, whom he narrowed his eyes at. "And why do you have the appearnce of Nightmare Moon?" He asked Valliant.

  134. [3/12/2014 7:53:07 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Jengo lead Amber to the next hut, where she could see a mare who appeared to be severly beaten physically and had a cut wound on her right shoulder. "Jengo, who is this? She isn't-"

  136. Jengo shook her head. "No, they aren't with the Children of the Night. They claim to have come from the other nation that our land fought in the time before."
  137. [3/12/2014 7:53:07 PM] Dusk: Dirge lets out a sigh, before shaking his head. This is rediculous. "Listen...Imamu? We're here to find something, the details are unimportant. If we help you with the slaver problem, can you at least help us with finding our way around here?"

  143. [3/12/2014 7:57:05 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "My name is Amber Sun, i'm a medic and one of the ponies that has volunteered to help your tribe with the Slavers." she notifies the zebras inside. "I'm here to help treat your wounds, i'll start with the most severe case and work my way down."

  147. [3/12/2014 8:00:18 PM] Solid Snake: Aark is used to the sight of a mare like that- The posture, the look in their eyes. But he liked to think that was behind him now......liked to. He just glares at her, running his tonge over his teeth, he leans forward. "What're you so afriad of?"

  150. [3/12/2014 8:03:16 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Amber Sun took up he tools and began to work on the injury to the best of her ability. "So, have these Slavers attacked your tribe before or just recently?" she asked while treating the zebra.
  151. [3/12/2014 8:04:12 PM] Solid Snake: Aark watches her her leave, and scowls. Darlin hops up to shout at him. "PAPA!!"
  152. [3/12/2014 8:05:17 PM] Solid Snake: "You scared her off! You can't keep being a mean, nasty Daddy! You'll keep ascaring ponies off!" Darling puffs up, as Aark looks at her.
  153. [3/12/2014 8:06:10 PM] Schorcht: "Well I'm here for other reasons really," Cherry says half minded. "But it's really to support myself and my family" She beams.

The mare being treated by Amber said, cringing a bit as Amber made a minor mistake, but she appeared to be improving the zebra's condition the next try. "They came without warning, surrounding us and telling us to come quietly or else."
  155. [3/12/2014 8:07:05 PM] Solid Snake: Aark sighs. But Darling protests. "You should applogise to her! See what she wated...And also appologise to Mr. Dirge!"

[3/12/2014 8:10:31 PM | Edited 8:11:07 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Sounds like the same problem we had back home, we used to have to deal with Slavers often in the past, especially Red-Eye's group." she says dressing her wound. "It's one of the reasons why I didn't trust most others lightly back home, you could never tell who's a slaver until it's usually too late to run or fight back."
  159. [3/12/2014 8:13:10 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Your land had slavers as well?" Jengo asked Amber as she was treating the injured mare. "That's terrible. Such a dishonorable practice, and yet there are those who believe in it all to make teeth from us."

  162. Aark opens his mouth to talk, but starts in on a wild cough. He doubles over, coughing loud enough for it to echo across the village. Darling gasps, whines, and dashes over to pat his back, and nuzzle him.
  163. [3/12/2014 8:16:07 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli raises an eyebrow from his position somewhere back, moving through the village. Thankfully, for once he can actually blend into a crowd instead of sticking out like a frostbitten ear.
  164. [3/12/2014 8:17:20 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "... Yes, we have lore that we can share about the Ebony Kingdom to you all, as well as give you assitance in moving around this dangerous land." Imanu said.

  166. [3/12/2014 8:18:46 PM] Solid Snake: Aark coughs a bit more, as Darling whines, patting his back. "Are you okay, Pappa?"
  167. [3/12/2014 8:19:08 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Oh believe me, Equestria had become a far cry from the image of peace and tranquility it had before the war over 200 years ago." she frowns. "Raiders, Slavers, Mutated Monsters, Wild Beasts, not to mention the unusable waters, Radiation and Barren Wastes as far as the eye can see." "Though, our home is improving at a better rate than before; It's a slow and steady process but hopefully it'll get better in time."

  172. "But first we want the slaver issue handled with. We were able to kill a few of them, and we would finish them off if not most of our warriors were wounded right now." Marjani said.
  173. [3/12/2014 8:22:12 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli notes her. He keeps his hood up and makes sure not to be too noticable as he walks to the side of the hut she is in. "Don't put too much stock into what he said. he does notseem like the friendliestof people." Kivuli glances at where he is coughing. "Though there might be a reason for that."

Will our heroes stick together in the end and trimpth at the challenges that lay ahead of them? We hope so, because alone, the Zebrican Wasteland has only hell for them.
