- Seafood Skillet
- Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 pepper
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 1/2 tbsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 3 cups broth
- 1 bag frozen seafood
- 1 cup frozen peas
- Directions:
- Add oil to the pan, mince the garlic, and dice the onion and sauté until transparent. Add diced pepper to skillet. Add uncooked rice followed by all seasonings and the broth. Place the lid on the skillet, turn up the heat and let it come to a boil. Then, turn the heat down and let simmer for 15 minutes. Add the seafood and peas. Once cooked, top with parsley and lemon juice.
- Spicy Seafood + Tomato Pasta
- Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 bag frozen seafood
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 2 servings pasta
- Directions:
- Add oil to the pan followed by the frozen seafood. Stir until opaque. Remove from heat and mince garlic. Return to heat with minced garlic and butter. Sauté and add tomato sauce, followed by paprika. Turn heat down to medium low and let simmer. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, salt to taste and top with parsley.
