[2014-03-01 20:16:40] * Tallie fluffles herself, preening. Then she looks up at Emerald. "Catch a lift?"
[2014-03-01 20:20:01] * Emerald_Blitz hands a bandage and a healing potion to Tallie, then to Militus and the rest. "Emergency supplies first. Everyone should have one in case I can't be the first to respond, or worse, am incapacitated myself," she says. "Is everyone ready to go?"
[2014-03-01 20:20:24] * Tallie nods and takes the supplies, then climbs up.
[2014-03-01 20:20:33] <Asami> as ready as I'm gonna be...
[2014-03-01 20:21:18] * Militus puts his potion away and nods.
[2014-03-01 20:23:38] * Emerald_Blitz turns to Clue. "As for you, my dear, no sneaking off on your own this time unless we need you to scout," the alicorn says firmly. "When and if we find that armor, we are sharing it and anything else we find to fit our group best." Her tone softens as she leans down. "After all, I don't want you getting hurt again, and I don'

[2014-03-01 20:25:09] * Clue sulks slightly. "I..." She lets out a defeated sigh. "...okay Emerald..."
[2014-03-01 20:25:25] * Tallie climbs into ali-mane and snuggles down. Comfy mane is comfy.
[2014-03-01 20:26:44] * Emerald_Blitz nods and puts on her hat. "All right. Tally ho, and off we go." The alicorn pushes the button to the door and braces herself for the cold.
[2014-03-01 20:27:09] * Tallie blinks and frowns. "What'd you call me?"
[2014-03-01 20:27:10] * Militus shakes his head, still trying to clear the lingering traces of griffin alcohol from it.
[2014-03-01 20:27:25] <CrystalDM> 03The polar chill of the Northern Empire rushes into the very warm interior of the building. Have we mentioned its cold yet?
[2014-03-01 20:27:43] * Asami will be bringing up the rear...the far rear...of the group as everypony else quickly outpaces her
[2014-03-01 20:27:57] * Clue shivers slightly. "Was it this cold earlier?... brr..."
[2014-03-01 20:29:03] * Militus shakes his head. "I think there's been a cold snap. I don't remember it being this bad yesterday."
[2014-03-01 20:30:11] * Emerald_Blitz shivers despite her warm clothes. "No... I was expecting it to be getting warmer after Winter Wrap-Up," she says, wrinkling her muzzle. "If we get going at a decent pace though, it will keep us warm. Onward." She takes the first strides out the door as she chuckles. "Tally ho. Means the same as onward and upward, get a move on, andalé, et cetera. Nothing offensive," she assures the griffon.
[2014-03-01 20:31:21] * Tallie frowns. "Uh huh... sounds like you were caling me a ho. I ain't no ho, yo."
[2014-03-01 20:33:18] * Emerald_Blitz chuckles. "Take it however you like, Tallie. I know it's of very little use to argue with you about minutia," she says, then turns to Clue. "So we'd like to fetch that armor first, then onward to finding that Stable so we can be on about our primary mission."
[2014-03-01 20:34:02] * Clue picks up Asami in her magic again. "Are... are you sure... I mean... it's probably a rusty peice of junk..."
[2014-03-01 20:34:11] * Tallie grins. "Victory is mine."
[2014-03-01 20:34:33] <Militus> "I think the armor may have been fashioned of crystal, not metal. So it is likely still in good condition."
[2014-03-01 20:35:03] <Emerald_Blitz> "Not if it is packed as well as the goods we've already found in the vicinity," Emerald says. "Besides, Militus is right. If it's crystal combat armor or some such, it would weather the... erm. Weather. Better than leather or steel would have."
[2014-03-01 20:36:20] * Clue scrunches her nose. She wants to get back to Feather Fall and stay with her as long and quickly as possible. "Mmm... kay..."
[2014-03-01 20:37:48] <Asami> but that armor is gonna be full of holes...and I've always had a stance of never selling holey armor...cause who would want to buy a suit that failed its last owner? heh
[2014-03-01 20:38:46] <Tallie> "That's why we fix it!"
[2014-03-01 20:39:15] * Emerald_Blitz chuckles too. "I once had a merc offer to give me a full refund if armor he sold failed to protect my life," she says. "And Tallie's right. With a few patches here and there, it'll be good as new."
[2014-03-01 20:39:45] * Militus takes a deep breath of the clear morning air. "Mmmm. Weather like this was always outside weather back home. I remember doing morning runs in weather like this."
[2014-03-01 20:40:31] <Emerald_Blitz> "Oh, I did too, during the brief time I was in Stalliongrad," Emerald says. "Nothing like frozen air to blast all the sleep out of your head and put a spring in your step."
[2014-03-01 20:42:26] * Militus chuckles. "Indeed, that's the idea. Just don't fall behind or you get to run the gauntlet, right?"
[2014-03-01 20:43:21] * Emerald_Blitz raises an eyebrow. "Well, no, but you got your tail chewed off by the drill sergeant," Emerald says. "I imagine things were quite different in the Lunar Army than they were even for the old-world Legion, much less whatever it is they are now."
[2014-03-01 20:43:30] * Clue mumbles and heads off in a direction she choses. She's quite talented at knowing her directions.
[2014-03-01 20:43:57] * Emerald_Blitz follows after Clue.
[2014-03-01 20:44:13] * Militus looks perplezed. "Wait, you instructors would literally bite off your tails? That is a most unusual method of discipline."
[2014-03-01 20:44:41] <CrystalDM> 03The party is able to make good time toward their destination, the suburb that contained the cache of weapons. However, about fifteen minutes out from their destination, the group discovers an odd cluster of trees.. Densely packed, a pony who passes by can't see into them.
[2014-03-01 20:44:50] <Emerald_Blitz> "It's as much a figure of speech as 'getting a tongue-lashing,' Militus. Neither are literal, and mean the same thing," Emerald explains as they walk.
[2014-03-01 20:45:59] * Militus blinks. "Oh...that was it? They just yelled at you?"
[2014-03-01 20:47:24] * Emerald_Blitz shrugs. "There were usually additional exercises attached as punishment as well, but nothing a healthy soldier couldn't handle," she says. "Despite being a war machine, the Lunar Army still knew quite a bit about kindness."
[2014-03-01 20:47:53] * Tallie "Don't like yelling..." she mumbles on Emerald's back.
[2014-03-01 20:48:15] * Emerald_Blitz snorts. "Then never join the army, Tallie," she says. "Not that it's exactly an option anymore."
[2014-03-01 20:49:35] * Militus mumbles something about "poor discipline", and quietly ponders how the old world ever managed a real war with such pampered soldiers.
[2014-03-01 20:50:43] <Emerald_Blitz> "Why, were your troops beaten to death when they couldn't keep pace?" Emerald asks wryly. "Our soldiers were still ponies, first and foremost, and we treated each other with as much dignity as could be afforded in a time of war."
[2014-03-01 20:52:19] * Militus laughs. "To /death/? No no no, of course not. They'd be fine after a while. When you try, you can get the art of beating someone without actually permanently hurting them down. And it works. Usually. There were always the occasional accidents, of course."
[2014-03-01 20:53:08] <CrystalDM> 03Five shots ring out, three of which impact! One into Clue, one into Asami, and another into Militus!
[2014-03-01 20:53:38] * Tallie gets her nade launcher out. "POnies down! Time to kill!"
[2014-03-01 20:53:40] * Emerald_Blitz scowls. "I don't wish to call that barbaric, Militus, but we discovered that discipline through cooperation and mutual encouragement worked better than intimidation and fear in ninety percent of-" Her sentence is cut off by gunshots. "TO ARMS!" she shouts."
[2014-03-01 20:56:32] * Militus is about to respond to Emerald_Blitz when a bullet slams into him, knocking the wind out of him.
[2014-03-01 20:58:45] * Clue winces as her armour only blocks a little bit reeling back in pain slightly, droping Asami in the process.
[2014-03-01 20:59:27] * Militus grunts in pain before drawing his spears, one in his mouth and the other with his tail.
[2014-03-01 21:04:45] * Clue scatters and takes cover behind a tree and frantically looks around. "Where are the shots coming from?!"
[2014-03-01 21:11:41] * Emerald_Blitz tilts and slides Tallie off her back, down a wing and into the snow as she draws her shotgun with Telekinesis, and takes to the air. Her shield bristles around her, thicker and pricklier than it has been in the past, and a brighter green. "Five ponies, up ahead. Hold your fire! Two are pregnant, and I'd rather talk this out than fight," the alicorn orders. "HOLD YOUR FIRE!" she shouts at the...
[2014-03-01 21:11:42] * Emerald_Blitz ...group ahead. "WE'RE FRIENDLY!"
[2014-03-01 21:36:57] * Militus bolts forward, running at full tilt until he crashes through the trees, coming face to face with one of his attackers. He grins almost manically, ignoring the hole already streaming blood down his armor. "You get one more shot, if you think it'll stop me. I'm excited to see how this plays out, but are /you/?"
[2014-03-01 21:40:07] <CrystalDM> 03The mares all throw down their hunting rifles... well, four of them do. The one in front of Militus grows wide-eyed before she keels over, dropping her hunting rifle.
[2014-03-01 21:42:20] * Militus looks taken aback. "Well that's certainly an unconvetional response..."
[2014-03-01 21:42:22] * Asami yelps at the shot that rings off her armor...and promptly dives into the snow and earth...dig-dig-digging out of view
[2014-03-01 21:45:40] * Clue peeks from behind the tree to spot the shooters but sees them throw down their weapons. "Em better get that scary ass zebra in check..."
[2014-03-01 21:45:55] * Militus pokes the mare in front of him with a hoof.
[2014-03-01 21:46:33] <CrystalDM> 03The mares run over to the one who fell in front of Militus. "White Rose!" One of the mares, her cutie mark a pair of hooves, kneeling beside her. "Come on Rose... get up..."
[2014-03-01 21:47:09] * Emerald_Blitz nods. "No kidding," she says, and bolts the rest of the way over to the formerly-hostile group, landing just a short distance away, her shield peeling down from the top to evaporate against the ground. "Stand aside," Emerald orders the mare. "I'm a doctor, and she needs help. She shouldn't have been traveling this soon after giving birth."
[2014-03-01 21:47:09] <CrystalDM> 03The mare is unresponsive to Militus's hoof-poke.
[2014-03-01 21:47:55] * Militus steps back from the downed mare. "Actually, Captain, her belly is likely swollen from lack of food. I may be no doctor, but I have seen many slaves."
[2014-03-01 21:48:39] * Tallie waddles across the snow behind Emeralds. She gives Militus a weary eye, then hides behind a tree.
[2014-03-01 21:49:13] * Militus looks curiously at Tallie, but decides not to ask.

[2014-03-01 21:51:08] * Emerald_Blitz gets out her medical kit and kneels next to the mare. "Someone build me a fire and boil some snow," she says, nodding to Militus. "These mares have frostbite, and we'll need to treat that and get them some broth." The alicorn looks up at the others standing around. "Please, she's in cardiac arrest, stand back. My name is Emerald Blitz, and I will do my best to save your friend." She leans...
[2014-03-01 21:51:10] * Emerald_Blitz ...down and begins performing CPR.
[2014-03-01 21:52:19] * Clue slowly trots around the spot where Asami burrowed into the ground sticking her muzzle down the hole. "Asami?... It's safe to come out now..."
[2014-03-01 21:54:40] * Militus gathers up a few sticks and starts a small fire. "So," he says to the assembled mares, not looking up, "why did you ponies fire on one who has the image of your royalty when you are trying to hide children? It seems like a bad idea."
[2014-03-01 21:55:42] <Emerald_Blitz> "Militus," Emerald says between breaths. "Don't antagonize them. If I had been mistreated, malnourished, and this frightened, I might have fired on anyone who got close to finding us as well." The alicorn goes back to the task at hoof.
[2014-03-01 21:56:28] * Militus sighs. "Alright then." He then sits quietly, tending the fire.
[2014-03-01 21:56:51] * Tallie pokes her head out of the leaves above. "You're more right than you know, Emerald." she says in a low voice.
[2014-03-01 21:57:25] <Emerald_Blitz> "Not to say you aren't correct," Emerald amends. "That was, by far, the most foolish thing you could have done," she says, addressing the mares. "Had you not fired, we never would have even known you were here."
[2014-03-01 21:58:35] <CrystalDM> 03The mare with the pair of hooves cutie mark looks between the zebra and Emerald and bows to Emerald. "We're sorry princess... White Rose said she saw an alicorn... but we thought you were more of those raiders. If they can't see you and you shoot them, they always run away..."
[2014-03-01 21:58:52] * Tallie looks at Militus again and whispers "Psychopath..." and ducks into the leaves again.
[2014-03-01 21:59:18] * Emerald_Blitz snorts. "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to my friends. Whom you shot," she says pointedly, and compresses the fallen mare's chest again.

[2014-03-01 22:03:01] * Emerald_Blitz touches the mare's chest with her horn, and green-white light trickles out of it, spreading warmly across her torso. "That should help with the bruising," she says softly. "My apologies for my terrifying friend. He is most excellent at what he does, but our information was... inadequate." She turns to the others. "We need to get these mares back to the Stable. They're in need of medical...
[2014-03-01 22:03:02] * Asami resurfaces out of her foxhole...peering into the distance before looking up at Clue "what in the hay is goin' on over there?
[2014-03-01 22:03:03] * Emerald_Blitz ...assistance I can't provide here."
[2014-03-01 22:03:52] * Militus sighs. "I suppose that is for the best. We should also question them to see if they know where our mystery Stable is, though."
[2014-03-01 22:04:15] * Clue looks over. "I think Militus killed a mare... Em said they were pregnant..." She explains with a frown.
[2014-03-01 22:05:23] * Emerald_Blitz nods gently. "Indeed. But their safety and health comes first," she insists. "Miss Rose here has, as I said, just given birth. Yesterday." She looks at the other mares for confirmation. "Isn't that right? And what are you all doing out here in your condition?"
[2014-03-01 22:05:26] <CrystalDM> 03White Rose blinks and shakes her head, looking confused. The other mares look to each other, similarly confused by this talk of a Stable.
[2014-03-01 22:05:43] <Asami> pregnant or not...until I know otherwise I'm gonna assume they want my hide...guns don't care on if you're carrying an egg or not...
[2014-03-01 22:06:22] * Emerald_Blitz turns and touches her horn to Militus' bullet hole and the same greenish light begins slowly knitting up the wound.
[2014-03-01 22:06:29] * Clue blinks. "But..." She shakes her head. "Lets go join them" Clue sets towards the group.
[2014-03-01 22:07:17] <CrystalDM> 03White Rose nods timidly toward Emerald_Blitz. "My... my husband... we escaped. He was going to take us somewhere safe but..." She starts to cry.
[2014-03-01 22:08:06] * Militus sighs in relief as his wound knits shut.
[2014-03-01 22:08:30] * Emerald_Blitz winces. "Militus said 'slaves.' I assume he wasn't wrong?" Emerald asks. "Pull yourself together. You can mourn when you are safe and not about to die from blood loss, starvation, and exposure."
[2014-03-01 22:09:18] * Militus nods. "Hauling slaves from the looks of it. They have the right scars."
[2014-03-01 22:09:46] <Emerald_Blitz> "Disgusting," Emerald growls. "My Equestria would have never tolerated such a hideous crime."
[2014-03-01 22:10:08] <CrystalDM> 03White Rose nods, hiccuping but getting her tears under control. "He was taking us someplace where we could raise our kids... all of them... in peace and have plenty to eat. But then we were attacked... he stayed behind and we ran..."
[2014-03-01 22:11:49] * Clue finally rejoins everypony and stays quiet. OH LOOK~ Guns on the ground! She starts over to them and looks them over.
[2014-03-01 22:13:06] * Emerald_Blitz folds her wings and gets up, offering White Rose a hoof to pull herself up with. "We'll treat your frostburn now and get you a warm broth. Bring any others out here as well," she orders. "We're taking you someplace you'll be safe for a while. Then, I will go back and see if your husband managed to find a place to barricade himself." She lets out a long breath. "If the foals can walk on their...
[2014-03-01 22:13:08] * Emerald_Blitz ...own, good, if not, we're capable of helping carry them. No, Clue." Emerald shoots the unicorn a warning look.
[2014-03-01 22:13:54] * Militus nods. "We'll find your husband, the Captain will make sure of that."
[2014-03-01 22:14:13] <CrystalDM> 03In digging his little hole, Asami finds... a grave. Freshly dug. And she finds it when the frozen, neon yellow body of a foal lands on her.
[2014-03-01 22:14:14] * Tallie jumps out of the tree and into a snowbank, floofing the powder snow around. She looks adorable.
[2014-03-01 22:14:14] * Clue freezes mid step, and stays frozen. Maybe she won't see me if I stand compeletly still.

[2014-03-01 22:16:24] <CrystalDM> 03White Rose manages to stand... though she is incredibly shaky on her hooves. One of the mares goes back into the trees and Emerald, Tallie, and Militus can hear the sounds of two colts and three fillies, as well as the renewed screaming of a foal.
[2014-03-01 22:16:55] * Tallie plugs her ears. Babies crying. Ugh.
[2014-03-01 22:18:12] * Emerald_Blitz sighs and turns to the fire Militus has started. "We need to get them back to the Stable, but then back to assist the stallion, or bring back his body if we're not in time," she says calmly. "I'll treat them for the frostbite and we'll get something warm in their stomachs first for the walk. How quickly can we do this? Also, Tallie, make sure those guns aren't about to explode, in case they...

[2014-03-01 22:19:01] <CrystalDM> 03White Rose shakes her head to Emerald. "Princess? That... that was a couple weeks ago... we've been wandering ever since."
[2014-03-01 22:19:18] * Tallie pokes her head out of the tree. "Explode? What?"
[2014-03-01 22:20:08] * Clue blinks in her frozen form, her ears swiveling to pick up the sound of the foals.
[2014-03-01 22:20:42] * Asami hollers at the top of her lungs "OKAY WHO THE HELL BURIES A KID IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!? I MEAN COME ON!?!" "Damnit...this is radioactive levels of creepy " As she mutters while looking at the foal "sigh...damnit...I'll make you a deal kiddo...I'll make you a proper grave and stuff
[2014-03-01 22:20:52] * Emerald_Blitz pauses, then hangs her head. "Never mind, then. No rush on the return trip." Her voice has a cold, clinical edge. "You're the mechanic, Tallie. Are their guns in working order or not?" The alicorn walks over to Clue and touches the unicorn with her horn, again spreading warm light and healing the gunshot wound. "They're not yours, so don't touch," Emerald says softly. "Are you all right...?"
[2014-03-01 22:21:41] * Tallie blinks. "Oh right. I'll check." She goes around looking at each rifle and assessing their damage.
[2014-03-01 22:22:13] <CrystalDM> 03The guns look two steps from falling apart. You are pretty sure there are a couple of them that are held together by chewing gum.
[2014-03-01 22:22:42] * Clue starts to shiver, holding her form. "Clue's not here" Even in this cold she sheads a single bead of sweat.
[2014-03-01 22:23:27] * Tallie returns to Emerald. "They're all pretty crappy, but they still work. Well, for one mroe shot at most. No more ammo."
[2014-03-01 22:23:52] * Emerald_Blitz lets out an exasperated sigh. "Well, if you see her, tell her her friends need her to keep a lookout for more of those raiders in case the fire attracts some," she says, and turns back to the group. "Go get your foals and we'll take you somewhere safe. And hurry up; I don't want to attract undue attention."
[2014-03-01 22:24:34] <CrystalDM> 03The mare with the pair of hooves nods to Tallie. "Yeah... we found some other ammo boxes but they were all locked..." The mares turn and head back, White Rose trying to take a couple of steps before she falls to her knees.
[2014-03-01 22:24:34] * Emerald_Blitz nods to Tallie. "Well, let's hope we don't need them, then," she says. "Lucky for us they weren't in top condition, eh?" The alicorn chuckles dryly.
[2014-03-01 22:24:47] * Clue sighs and releases her held position rushing next to Emerald_Blitz. "Sorry... I was just looking..." She holds her head low.
[2014-03-01 22:25:20] <Tallie> "Still got 'em?" she asks the mare.
[2014-03-01 22:25:39] * Emerald_Blitz drapes a wing over Clue's back. "It's all right, Clue, that's just a tendency we're going to have to keep a close eye on. Come, help me assist these mares. Apparently they have boxes that need unlocked."
[2014-03-01 22:26:49] <CrystalDM> 03Two small orbs float into Asami's view, floating on whisps of smoke. One glows a bright white, the other, a buttery yellow. The white one offers visions of a colt at play, growing up free. The other, of a sickly child put under a warm blanket and given broth by a loving mother.
[2014-03-01 22:26:56] * Clue nods and follows behind Emerald_Blitz to whereever the locked boxes where.
[2014-03-01 22:28:06] * Militus starts following Emerald_Blitz, but stops to pick up White Rose, propping her up as they move along.
[2014-03-01 22:30:57] <CrystalDM> 03White Rose accepts the help, and together the group heads through the thicket.
[2014-03-01 22:33:14] <CrystalDM> 03The mare who went back is getting the colts and fillies ready to go. The oldest colt is carefully watching the newcomers, a sawed-off shotgun kept at the ready... even though it looks like, if he fired it, it would explode violently. The oldest of the fillies is trying to take care of a crying pegasus foal with a black coat and white mane.
[2014-03-01 22:34:14] * Tallie looks at the colt and his shotgun. "I hope you don't plan on using that."
[2014-03-01 22:34:17] * Asami frowns at the twin spirits as she heads over towards the base of the large tree "that kid never got a fair chance at life you two...I want to at least give 'em a proper burial and grave so whoever his folks are can come back and visit...so who are you two then?  don't suppose you both could help me could you?
[2014-03-01 22:35:25] * Emerald_Blitz brings the pot of warm water with them and sets up near one of the wagons. "Those of you with numbness in your extremities or loss of sensation, come here, please," Emerald says. "I need to get you travel ready so we can get you to someplace with adequate medical facilities for White Rose."
[2014-03-01 22:36:15] * Militus eases Rose into a sitting position and then goes to work on the locked boxes. "So how did you mares get ahold of Steel Ranger gear?"
[2014-03-01 22:36:33] <CrystalDM> 03The colt looks over at Tallie and tries to look as touch as possible. "Only if you try to hurt us... daddy said I got to protect everyone younger than me."
[2014-03-01 22:37:51] * Clue shifts uneasily. There were too many eyes here. She notices Militus asking about the locks so she moves the rummage through the boxes.
[2014-03-01 22:38:08] * Tallie nods. "Well yeah, but I mean its looking pretty shitty. In fact, it looks like it'll explode if you try to shoot it, taking your mouth with it."
[2014-03-01 22:38:30] * Emerald_Blitz gets out some bandages and soaks them in the water as a first step of frostbite treatment. "Tallie, do you think you can help jury-rig a sled or something for me to pull?" she asks. "I don't want White Rose walking any more than she absolutely must."
[2014-03-01 22:39:04] * Tallie looks around. "Uh... maybe?"
[2014-03-01 22:39:11] <CrystalDM> 03The colt looks over at the shotgun, not sure about it. "D-doesn't matter. I gotta protect 'em!"
[2014-03-01 22:39:32] * Tallie looks back at the colt. "Want me to try and fix it at least a little?"
[2014-03-01 22:39:48] * Emerald_Blitz nudges Militus. "Perhaps you can assist the young colt there in watching over the others? It might help them feel a little more at ease."
[2014-03-01 22:39:51] <CrystalDM> 03White Rose shakes her head. "It was with the wagons when we found them... we didn't know what the symbol meant."

[2014-03-01 22:42:06] * Militus finishes with the boxes and stands. "As you say, Captian, but do you really think they want /me/ guarding them?"
[2014-03-01 22:42:29] <CrystalDM> 03The little spirits nod to Asami before descending into her saddle bags and disappearing inside.
[2014-03-01 22:43:19] * Emerald_Blitz clomps a hoof to her head. "Yes, we could do that but I don't want them exposed to wind chill. Blankets if they have them, otherwise, we'll improvise." The alicorn looks at Militus. "What happened there was an accident, and unless they were being held as slaves by zebras, I don't see why you wouldn't make a splendid guard."
[2014-03-01 22:43:21] * Asami blinks and watches the motes ...do whatever it is they intend to do?
[2014-03-01 22:44:40] <Militus> "As you say Captain." Militus makes his way over and sits next to the colt on guard, who he offers a smile.
[2014-03-01 22:44:49] <CrystalDM> 03One of the locks viciously eats the bobby pin Militus uses, snarling up the lock something fierce. This is countered by one of the locks clicking /twice/, and a hidden compartment opening inside the ammo box.
[2014-03-01 22:45:32] * Clue shifts real uneasily as a thought stirs in her head. "Em... I could... well..." She shakes her head. "...nevermind..." She continues to prod through the boxes.
[2014-03-01 22:46:13] * Emerald_Blitz looks up from her anti-frostbite work to Clue. "I am open to suggestions, Clue," she says. "If you've a better idea, by all means, please share."

[2014-03-01 22:52:09] * Emerald_Blitz frowns. "If you have something to protect them from the cold, it might be worth the time while Tallie builds a sled and I treat these ponies for travel," she says. "I'm not one for knowing much about magic, I'm afraid, despite my appearance."
[2014-03-01 22:52:49] * Militus turns to the colt beside him. "So, where did you all escape from? It would really help me and my companions if we knew more about the area."
[2014-03-01 22:55:23] * Clue smiles and dances excitedly on the spot. "Okay!" She takes out what appears to be a box of face paints and starts to mix together some reds, blues, greens, and a brown in a even pattern on her face. Every so often her horn would slowly crystalize and uncrystalize.

[2014-03-01 23:01:47] * Tallie gets to work. She's very VERY focused, drowning out everything else.
[2014-03-01 23:06:33] * Emerald_Blitz takes the time to treat everypony for frostbite, and temporarily donates her big coat as a blanket for White Rose and the youngest foals.
[2014-03-01 23:08:36] * Militus looks up from where he's sitting. "Oh, would whoever is looking through the boxese please save the glowing red things? They'd be very helpful to me, if you don't mind."
[2014-03-01 23:08:50] * Clue gets up after an hour or so after her horn fully crystalizes and she glows faintly for a moment. She looks herself over. "Huh...."
[2014-03-01 23:10:51] * Emerald_Blitz looks up from her current patient. "Did it work, Clue?" she asks.
[2014-03-01 23:12:50] * Clue looks up blankly. A large smile spreads across her face. "Yes!" She rushes over the White Rose. "Alrighty, lets see if I can do this on her..." She touches her horn and it crystalized but White Rose didn't glow. "I'm sorry... it didn't work... I..." She begins to tear up. "But... it..."
[2014-03-01 23:15:18] * Emerald_Blitz boops the nose of the foal she's just treated, and stands up. She walks over to Clue. "It's all right, Clue. You tried. You have a better basis to work from next time," she says, patting Clue gently. "We'll just have to get them back sooner, is all."
[2014-03-01 23:16:32] * Asami looks up from her letter wood carving as she hears...something? "Uhm...like what? and uhm...I dunno who Shaman is...my name's Asami"
[2014-03-01 23:18:19] * Clue shakes her head almost violently! "I'm not useless!" She screams.
[2014-03-01 23:18:35] * Militus turns back to the colt next to him. "So where did the pegasus foal come from?"
[2014-03-01 23:18:49] * Tallie continues building her sled.
[2014-03-01 23:19:36] * Emerald_Blitz clamps a wing around Clue's body and squeezes her VERY tightly in an attempt to hug the air out of her lungs. "Clue," Emerald says through gritted teeth. "None of us think you're useless, but if you startle these poor ponies and send another one into cardiac arrest, I will roll you up in a snowball and leave you there."
[2014-03-01 23:19:40] * CrystalDM looks over to Militus. "Smokey? He's White Rose's son."
[2014-03-01 23:20:16] * Asami shrugs and goes back to her work...finishing it up and then jamming the tree branch down as a 'headstone' of sorts...and then fills in the hole after wrapping the dead foal in her own blanket and laying them in the botto
[2014-03-01 23:20:34] * Militus looks taken aback. "Oh...I see...how did she concieve a pegasus? I admit the intricacies of ponies breeds are a mystery to me."
[2014-03-01 23:21:24] * Clue starts to sob. "I can do it! I... I know I can!" Her horn quickly crystalizes as she tears up in Emerald_Blitz's hug, but this time Emerald glows faintly for a moment and all sense of cold leaves her.
[2014-03-01 23:22:40] * Emerald_Blitz blinks. "Well, you've at least got the basics of it through that friendship spell," Emerald assures Clue. "I don't feel cold at all now, despite having lent my coat to the foals. I know you can do this too, Clue, you just need more time and training. Canterlot wasn't built in a day, as they say."
[2014-03-01 23:24:01] * Clue blinks. "I... I didn't cast it.. on.. like..." She tilts her head and rushes back to White Rose and casts it upon her, having her glow faintly before it settles. Clue sniffles and turns to Emerald_Blitz with a smile.

[2014-03-01 23:28:45] * Asami is rather used to being stared at...so after a few times of looking around to see who it was and failing...she just finishes up her task and then sits down to relax "you know...all of this staring at me behind my back aint gettin neither of us nowhere Mr. Spooky...so come on out and fess up what you got to say..."  Asami just says to no pony in particular....hmmm...maybe the rumors are true...
[2014-03-01 23:28:47] * Clue goes around with a smile happily casting Equestria's Love on all the ponies around her. By the end she feels very worn out. "Where's Asami?..."

[2014-03-01 23:32:04] <CrystalDM> 03Floating over the grave, Asami (And only Asami) sees a skeletal pony with a large scythe, covered with a large cloak. An unearthly chill surrounds him.
[2014-03-01 23:33:26] * Clue nods. "Alright..." She moves out of the thicket and sits next to Asami. "You ok?" She casts a spell on her with great strain, before raising a hoof to her head and swaying a bit.
[2014-03-01 23:35:57] * Asami scowls at ...nothing... and makes a rather rude gesture to boot "Go buck yourself!..you took this foal before they had a chance at anything!...You are the -last- pony I would ever call on...you've already done your work so did you come back to gloat about it?
