My chemistry tutor is a lich and she has shit taste?!

“Anon, please stay after class.” His words were simple and clean yet they made your blood run cold, your classmates all turned to look at you with looks of interest and mockery mixed and deep inside you knew what he was going to tell you, it only served to further your panic. You were placed in an advanced chemistry class by accident but had been too shy to report the mistake; your parents had been so proud that to take it away from them was something you weren’t going to do. The truth of course was that you were terrible in chemistry.

“Anon, this institute is meant to further the relations between humans and the demi-human species, but that doesn’t mean that we’re willing to overlook academic failure” the portly man who was your chemistry teacher began. He was in his late forties and was a temporary replacement for the previous teacher who had gone off to marry a student. “are you paying attention?!” he snapped his fingers in your face and you jumped back. “Look, the only thing that I want less than to pass you undeservedly is to fail you, that’s why in order to allow you to keep up with the rest of the class” he walked away and toward the class door.

“She will be your tutor from now on” he swung open the door and out of the many things you expected this was certainly not one of them. A small girl wearing a robe on top of her school uniform and some elaborate metallic jewelry stood in the doorway, her eyes were bored and she looked at you with only mild interest. “Yo…” she waved her hand and walked in, completely ignoring you and sitting in a chair in the far corner of the class.

“Is this some joke?” you asked your teacher confused, you knew you weren’t the smartest but you could definitely compete with a little girl. Your teacher looked at you with a smirk “It can be many things, but a joke it is not” he then bared his teeth “unless, of course, you have a better idea?”

you suddenly realize you don't even care about school, you stand up liberated at your realization and your teacher gasped at the look of complete confidence that emanated from your face, in your moment of euphoric nirvana a halo of light swallowed you and for a few precious seconds you channeled the powers of god and the devil "I... I. Do. Not. Need. School" the voice of wisdom that came forth from your mouth were transformed into blue jays and the scent of a mother's kiss and a new car

"O-Of course" your teacher cowered in the unholy light that bathed the room before it all disappeared, as quick as it had come you were back to normal and your state of godhood reverted. "Omoshiroi" you looked down and suddenly realized that the small girl at some point had walked up to you and was standing beside you "P-Please... Just leave." your teacher pointed at the door while crying.

"Okay, I'm going to go play videogames" you strode confident in yourself with the lingering powers of heaven that you had managed to call to your aid. people gasped as they saw you, your ability to not give a fuck became a legend that day and that teacher would go on to become the first of many followers who would follow you.

It is only when you reach the outside that you regain your sense and realize you do in fact need school "Oh Fuck!" you turn back to enter but suddenly realize that you've been followed all the way outside by the little girl, she looks at you with a spark of interest in her eyes "do you like video-games?" she tugged your shirt "I have video-games..." she then walked a few steps before turning back to look at you.

"coming?"

"O-Okay" you trailed behind her and she grabbed your hand before turning back and walking at a brisk pace. She quickly left behind the school zone and the neighborhoods, soon enough you were far from anything civilized and she continued leading you into the thick forests where the sounds of monsters ruled the treetops, and eventually even those were left behind as she took a mountain trail

"where are you taking me" you realized this question would have been more useful before traversing the monster infested forests but then again hindsight was 20/20 "home" she whispered so low that you had trouble hearing, by now the sun was hanging lower than you had ever seen it before, just the tip was left and the horizon was a pastel colored canvas.

by the time you saw what she called home you had to have been several hours away from anyone else, in the distance you could make out small lights that floated, as you came closer they were revealed to be towers

"don't stray..." the little girl spoke for the first time in what seemed like ages. soon you were stepping over a long wooden bridge and entering the gothic compound that was laced with statues and flying buttresses, the sound of bats and birds filled the sky and you swore you saw something human-sized flying as well.

she entered and immediately led you to a stair case leading downward, she continually descended until you reached a large hall where cages and torture instruments were strewn about.

"w-what is this!?" you gasped and she turned to you "video-games..." before continuing, you reached the end and she opened a large chest, the sound it made as she rummaged was horrifying. "found it." her voice was apathetic as she lifted a strange device

"get ready" she mentioned as she lifted it above her head and you closed your eyes waiting to die.

"What games do you like?" you opened your eyes and realized you hadn't died, instead she had set up a tv and was connecting a PS3 to an outlet

you realize this must be some elaborate excuse so that she can get with you, after all everyone knows that girls don't play videogames "Actually babe, I like Playing doctor" she seemed less than amuse, her eyes turned into slits and she shook her head "that is not a videogame, bad videogame" she looked up for a second with a look of revelation "wait!" her voice was louder than you had heard it before

"we can play doctor" she returned to her previous state of apathy as she once again grabbed your hand and led you away from the console, you were going to make sure to use it later anyway. She led you up the series of stairs and into one of the smaller towers, eventually culminating into a room filled with strange equipment and a large table

on it you see an arachne tied down, all eight of her legs are tied down and butchered to some degree, some of them seem to ooze while others are barely hanging on by a thread, her human half is in no better state, bleeding and shivering from various wounds, the lich seems unphased and walks up to the arachne, whose eyes snap open and begins shaking violently

"NOO!" she screams before the girl covers her mouth with rope. you walk forward and almost gag "W-what is this?" you try to maintain composure. the lich turns to you with bored eyes "she's a patient, you're a doctor, heal her" she hands you some rags as your *doctor equipment* and begins ordering you to hand her scalpels and other devices

you eventually overcome your fear and walk up to the table, the arachne's eyes are wide open in shock and pain and she seems overcome with grief, she spasms when she sees your face and tries screaming through the rope of it all you can only make out the last words "kill me" to your right there is a wide amount of utensils capable of killing her in a stroke, to your left the lich continues to take down notes seemingly uninterested in what she's saying.

You can't take this, you were never prepared to allow another creature to feel this caliber of suffering, even now the boundaries of your fragile mind tear under the weight of what you're seeing. If there was a god out there he was going to have to beg for your forgiveness for even allowing such cruelty to be thought up

"I... I can't." you take a step back as the world slowly spins around you, the lich takes an interest in your words and looks at you with a bored look "you can't what?" you grab the table behind you but it tears under your weight sending metallic instruments flying everywhere, you crawl on the ground amidst the tools "This, I can't do this..." you're shaking and if you continued your mind would shut down under the pressure "you can make it stop, you know?" the lich was concocting a plan, you could tell by that glint in her eyes as she walked away from the table and toward you

"just give me your life, and I will let her go" she walks close and crouches down next to you, her eyes inquisitively inspecting your body like a gift horse. "I promise I can save her, reverse all of it, she'll be healthy as a centaur" the liches eyes glow and she does something that terrifies you, she smiles; the kind of smile that was full of malice and at the same time adoration, a strange mix. "but you have to be mine." the look in her eyes are of pure hunger

"what do you say?" she extends her hand out to you and looks at you curiously "are you willing to let her suffer because of your selfish attachments?"

"O-Okay" you stare at her with dead eyes as her smile grows wider. "shake my hand" she looks at you shaking as you slowly stretch it toward her "C'mon, won't you shake, a poor sinner's hand?" she says this almost taunting, you muster up your courage and bridge the gap between your hand and hers.

"Yesss" her smile is wide enough to tear her face and you feel a sharp pain as a light bounces from her arm to you, she let's go and moves toward a table before turning back to you with a necklace in her hand "Are you ready?" she says while walking toward you.

the pain shifts through your body as you shake uncontrollably and you can hear the sound of drums sounding madly in the distance, she walks up to you "transformation central!" she screams loudly your vision turns blurry in front of you and colors dance across your eyes.

she grabs your hand with strength you didn't know she had and clamps the amulet down on your finger before looking at you again with a crazed look "can you feel it?!" you try to reach out but can't find the strength to move "you're changing alright!" the amulet shines brightly as it absorbs your blood and you see specters dance wildly around your body, the area which she pricked glows unnaturally and it spreads throughout you, the burning sensation dies down and is replaced by a chill that reaches your bones.

"I hope you're satisfied!" the lich's voice is almost musical as it sounds through your skull, rebounding endlessly. The last thing you see is her tyrannical smile as you fade away, the last thing you hear is her voice as you black out completely "If you aren't. Don't blame me, you can blame your poor decision-making skills!" the music slowly fades away

when you come to you're in a cage, your clothes is torn and you feel terrible "hey" you look down and the lich is there poking you with a long stick. she looks to have returned to her normal self as well "any questions?" she looks at you bored as you dangle.

"w-where are the video-games?" you try to stand up but the cage shifts it's weight sending you tumbling again, the lich smirks before walking to a contraption laid against the wall and pulling a lever, the moment she does a large crack is heard and the chain holding up the cage is sent tumbling, resulting in you flying down a few meters and painfully hitting the floor

"get up" the lich continues to poke you while sipping out of a large soda cup "Just... Just give me a minute" you try to balance yourself but your legs feel like jelly and you vomit before finally feeling the strength returns to your legs "come" she walks out of the room and you hobble after you

"stay close!" the lich's voice resounds from the hallways in front of you and you rush to keep up with her, soon enough you see similar hallways and stairs and you can swear you know where she is leading you. you're correct as the stairs lead to a large hall filled with similar looking cages and torture devices, the only difference is the sound of a console and various sound effects.

your heart flies into the sky and you feel elated, these must be the videogames you were looking for, you feel only better as you see the spidergirl playing with her entire body mended to the point where you can't even tell she had suffered any injury, she turns to you as she hears your footsteps and smiles as if she were the happiest girl on the earth with that controller in her hands

"Hi anon! Hi Elvira!" she waves happily before taking a sip from a large soda cop and sitting back down to play whatever game she's playing. your happiness is short lived as when you come closer you realize to your horror that the game they're playing is Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm, and what's worse the lich joins in, ignoring you entirely. Your body freezes in disgust and hatred.

"want to play?" the lich suddenly turns to you with the controller in her hands and her soda in the other, a bored look in her eyes.

you laugh, you laugh so hard that the world spins around you, you laugh so loud that the chamber echoes with the madness your voice carries "A-Anon what's wrong?" the spider girl stands up and tries to walk toward you, holding her hand out to touch your kneeling form that continues to laugh

you slap her hand out of the way and look at her with an expression of such pure hatred and disgust that it becomes the concept of hatred itself and ascends to become a god in another dimension. "Don't touch me YOU FILTHY CASUAL!" your voice reaches the volume of a jet taking off and she quickly cowers while looking at you stomp off toward a table full of torture devices

"A-Anon please stop, I'm sorry if you're angry" her words bounce off of you and you continue moving toward the table, the look of sharp edges is the only thing that can calm your raging heart. the lich meanwhile continues playing as if nothing were happening. You look down at the table and pick up a large hammer, on one side it has a bed of spikes that protrude and on the other side it turns into an axe, and the pommel itself is a dagger, it was perfect for what you had to do.

you walk back dragging the hammer behind you, the spider girl begins shaking but doesn't move away until you're too close"Anon please let me exp-IAAAHHH!!!!" the spidergirl screams as you plunge the hammer into her spider abdomen with enough strength to hear an audible crunch, she continues crying unintelligibly as you take it out and walk toward her human side.

You take the axe side and lop of her left arm, causing her scream even louder and her spider legs to scramble uselessly, in a moment of lucidity she looks at you quietly while blood flows down her nose and lips "Anon... Thanks for s-saving me... Back there." she smiles at you warmly and you bring it down with enough strength to leave it a bloody unrecognizable mess.

"you're next" you utter as you drag the hammer toward the lich, she was to blame for all of this.

“that’s cool” she continues playing and you slowly come closer, at some point you had begun crying but you couldn’t feel them, the tears slid off of your face and onto the cold hard floor. You couldn’t feel anything except the rage of their shit taste, you had to make sure to destroy them here. That was your ninja way.
“It’s over” you said as you raised the hammer over her head and brought it down with enough strength to see the visible indentation on the floor under it. Her corpse is a heap of meat scattered everywhere and you sigh to yourself in relief before genuflecting.

“not nice” the voice chills you down to the bone and you turn to see her smile. “anon, did you think you could kill me?” she pushes you down and poises her foot on your body before crouching down and whispering into your ear

“that deal we made? It turned you into a phylactery!” she laughs uncontrollably before pulling your hair “you’ll never escape me or naruto!”

Something inside of you breaks, with all the force you can muster you slap her away and get up, grabbing your hammer as well “what are you gonna do anon? kill me!?” she walks toward you with an arrogant and crazed smile “no, I’m going to do what I have to do!” you grab the hammer with both hands and bury it into the ground head first, revealing the dangerously sharp dagger pommel

The lich freezes in place “y-you wouldn’t dare!” she screams out at you and you can feel her influence as the room grows terribly cold “I won’t let you!” she walks toward you and you can feel the her power getting to you.

Will you do it?

"DATTEBAYO!!!!" you lift your body slightly off the ground and then plunge yourself deep into the dagger, burying your body all the way to the floor. her eyes turn into pins as she reaches out a second too late to stop you, the next thing you see is the lich doubling over in pain.

she stands up again and her body floats into the air, all around the air is running wild and the sound of spectres screaming can be heard. she seems to be in intense pain as she claws at her stomach, the robes on her body fling off and you see what is happening.

inside her torso a hole the size of a baseball is forming, slowly growing as it sucks her away she screams in pain and agony as her skin withers and her eyes and teeth turn into dust, leaving a grey and dry corpse still trying to pull away the growing orb of chaos

"ANON!" you hear her voice inside of you "ANON! WHY!" her screams fill your head as the orb slowly absorbs the rest of her body, eventually only her head is left visible and even that is sucked away "B-Because, that's my... my ninja way" you chuckle and let yourself fall down. slowly the room fades to black as the warmth in your body drips down into a puddle beneath you.

the castle begins to shake, the stones as well come loose and crash to the floor as it all goes black and finally you're gone

"shit... taste..." you whisper to yourself and your eyes snap open, the beeping of medical machinery gives you a hint to where you are and the white robes you make it obvious "what happened?" you utter to no one but get a response anyway.

"You're under arrest for affiliating with heresy, how do you plead?" you realize there's a man with a helmet of some sort and a stern scowl in the room, you want to smile"guilty" his scowl shrinks for a second before returning "that's 10 years in the cubes" you laugh as he walks out

"thanks judge" you whisper and he stops, for a second you swear you saw a smile but he simply looks away "scum" he exits the room.
