Unconventional Magic - 5: Hearts & Hooves Day

I should mention this mostly involves character development. Hopefully there's enough comedic moments to keep it entertaining enough.
Next chapter should get interesting again.

>You awaken early as it's another work day
>Sleep came easily after the previous days' activities
>Feeling unusually well rested, you get out of bed, get dressed, and consider the recent events
>What was something great that Trixie did yesterday that you could attempt?
>Oooh, teleportation!
>And she teleported the two of you a rather long distance too
>Yes, this could prove extremely useful
>Closing your eyes, you concentrate hard, clearing your mind of any other thought
>Moments later, without warning, the scent of breakfast cooking downstairs catches your attention, and you envision the kitchen in your mind
>It took many seconds for your still-waking brain to catch up and comprehend it, but you eventually realize that you were standing in the kitchen
>Granny Smith and Applebloom were staring at you, stunned
"Holy shit I can teleport!"
>You close your eyes again, this time picturing Applejack in your head
>After a few seconds of concentration, you find yourself outside standing next to her and Big Mac
>They notice you appear before them and both jump back in surprise
>AJ:"A- Anon? What the heck!?"
"Hey AJ! Don't mind me, just testing out some new tricks."
>"Uh, wha.. Well, that's great an' all, but don't you forget about yer job now!" she stutters, still trying to figure you out
"No worries, I'll be back shortly."
>Hmm, where to now?
>Rainbow Dash has early morning weather duty, she should be awake by now too

>Now that's quite a distance, should be a good test
>Once again, you close your eyes, blank your mind of any thoughts, and focus as hard as you can on your favorite mare
>This one takes close to a minute, and you feel a headache coming on before anything ever happens
>But eventually, your focus pays off, as you feel yourself get pulled away
>And there standing before you was Rainbow Dash, who completely loses her shit at the sudden sight of you
>She screams and jumps back, flying into a wall of.. clouds?
>Looking around, you seem to be in a house made of clouds
>This must be her home in Cloudsdale
>You've only ever heard of it before, considering you're not a pegasus so you can't go there yourself
>Nor could you walk on clouds
>...oh wait
>With that sudden realization, you notice that you're starting to fall though the cloud-floor
"Shit I can't fly!" you manage to yell as you escape through the bottom of Rainbow's house
>She finally snaps out of it and takes off out her front door, dashing down full-speed toward you as you plummet to the ground far below
>You may not be ale to fly, yet at least, but you did manage to levitate yourself last night
>It's difficult to focus any magic when you're falling to the ground from thousands of feet up, but Trixie's "influence" has apparently helped
>Your descent begins to slow, and you start to feel at ease
>You look up to see Rainbow Dash just moments from contact with you

>You hold up your hands to signal her to stop
>She slows down to a floating pace along side you
>"What the buck is this Anon!? How did you get here, what were you thinking!?"
"Hey calm down, I just wanted to try my new teleportation trick by paying my favorite mare a visit, where's the harm in that?"
>A hint of pink forms on her cheeks, as she gives you a serious look
>"You can't walk on clouds though, did ya think of that one?" she asks sarcastically
"Well, obviously not." you scoff "But hey, I saved myself, so it's all good."
>Rainbow sighs "Well, are you okay to head back home then? We both have work to do, you shouldn't be messing around like this."
"Yeah yeah, I'm good. I bet I'll be done with work pretty early, so just come meet me at Sweet Apple Acres when you're done alright? We got quite the evening ahead of us."
>"Aww yeah, I can't wait!" she giggles
"Neither can I. Well, see ya later!"
>Dash gives you a salute for some reason and takes off
>You lower yourself to the ground to make the teleportation easier
>And soon enough, you manage to appear back at Sweet Apple Acres
>You have a bit of a headache, but you begin your work day as usual
>Hearts and Hooves day is today, and you have an evening and air-show with Rainbow Dash to look forward to
>A whole days' worth of apple-bucking is finished in just a couple hours; and that was taking your time

>Applejack doesn't like that you're being so lazy with the work, but it's still getting done so she has no reason to complain
>When you mindlessly pluck the apples off the last tree in the orchard you had today, you look up and conjure some large fireworks in the sky above you
>Because why not celebrate being done in record time with some new powers?
>You spot Applejack in an adjacent orchard just shaking her head at you before getting back to bucking
>You simply smile and levitate your many buckets of apples back to the house
>As soon as you return and place the buckets where they belong, you're assaulted by a pink blur
>In an instant, you're on the ground being interrogated
>"WHERE'S THE PARTY? HUH? HUH!? WHERE IS IT ANON!? WHY WASN'T I INVITED!?"
>Obviously it's Pinkie Pie, and she's frantically shifting her head in literally every direction
"Pinkie Pie? What the hell are you talking about? And would you get off me please!"
>She stops, looks down at you for a moment then jumps back, allowing you to sit up
>"I saw the fireworks so I thought there must be a party going on over here, so where is it!?"
"Sorry Pinkie, that was just me practicing some new magic tricks, no party here."
>My god, that's probably the saddest face you've ever seen
>Thankfully it doesn't last long
>"New magic trick? Where'd ya learn that?"
"I uh.. guess I picked up some things from Trixie last night."

>"Trixie taught you some tricks?" she asks, giggling at her own question
"Uhh, yeah, you could say that.. Hey, aren't you supposed to be setting up a party of your own?"
>"Oh yeah, I almost forgot! I gotta get back to work. Oh and give this to Granny Smith for me would ya?"
>Out of nowhere she produces a scroll and hands it to you
>As soon as you take it, she waves and vanishes in a poof of pink smoke
>This mare.. seriously.. magic is great and all, but her abilities defy it completely
>You must have them in your arsenal!
>... In due time
>You take a peak at the scroll Pinkie handed you
>It was a catering order for an after party taking place tonight after the Wonderbolts show
>Good thing you didn't have to do any of the cooking
>Not that it would bother you right now, at least it would give you something to do
>After handing off the scroll to Granny Smith, you decide to head into town
>Casually strolling down the main 'streets' of P0nyville, you notice Trixie's wagon is gone
>Something you do see however is a giant black box floating through the town square with a blue aura around it
>Walking along side of it was a white unicorn, mane and tail two shades of blue, and she was wearing.. goggles?
>Something about her seemed very familiar, but you couldn't put your finger on it
>Curiosity piqued, you walk in her direction to greet her
"Hey there, what's with the box?"
>She answers without looking at you

>"Just my DJ equipment."
>And now it all comes together
>You've seen images of her, and absolutely loved her music
"Holy shit you're Vinyl Scratch! What are you doing in a place like P0nyville?"
>"DJing a party tonight for the Wonderbolts show man, where've you been?"
>She turns to look at you and stops in her tracks
>"Whoa.. now there's somethin' ya don't see everyday."
"Who, me? Heh, yeah, I'm kinda the only one of my kind in this world."
>"So that would make you Anonymous, the human, right?"
"Uhh, yeah.. how did you know?"
>"Rainbow Dash has told me a lot about ya. Her and I go way back."
"Rainbow huh? I can only imagine what she's told you.."
>"Hey man don't be worried, she really likes you. Like, reeaaally likes you. She's kept me outta the loop lately though, you two been together very long?"
>Her words give your heart a nice tug
>Tonight's gonna be the night, you just know it
"Actually, I think we're gonna seal the deal tonight." you say with a grin
>"Ahh, well you couldn't have picked a better night. I'll be sure to make it extra special for you two."
>Oh boy
>Vinyl chuckles at the look on your face
>"Oh come on it won't be that bad. But hey, I gotta go get this stuff setup. Care to join me?"
"Sure, not like I have anything else to do."
>The two of you head to the fields just on the outskirts of P0nyville, where a large area is being cleared and setup for the show by a large group of various p0nies

>Multiple sets of bleachers are being brought out and constructed
>Along side them is a large area dedicated to the party, complete with a make-shift dance floor, full bar, multiple tables and chairs, and rows of longer tables along the sides which is no-doubt for the catered food
>On the opposite side of the dance floor from the bar, Vinyl sets down her box and opens it up into a full elevated DJ stand, complete with turntables and enormous speakers
>It was impressive to say the least, you just wondered how it was powered
>Before you get a chance to ask, her horn glows and the speakers come alive with some wubs
>Magic. Of course.
>Why do you even question these things anymore?
>After a few minutes of basic sound checking, Vinyl comes over to you and sits down
>"So, Anonymous-"
"Anon is fine."
>"Anon.. tell me about yourself, about humans. Can you guys perform magic or anything cool like that?"
"That's kind of a lot to tell ya know... as for magic, no. Magic doesn't even exist in our world, we mostly rely on industry, science, technology, and the like."
>"No magic!? That's.. that one's hard to take in."
"I bet.. I can use magic though. Can't tell ya how, but recently I've been able to use it rather well."
>"What, no way! And you really don't know how?"
"Well.. let's just say it was an experiment. And it turned out much better than expected."
>"I see. So what all can you do?"

"As far as I can tell, anything that any typical unicorn can. I actually managed to pull off some long-range teleportation this morning. Worked perfectly, but I think it gave me one hell of a headache."
>"Long-range? Just how long we talkin' here?"
"Here to Cloudsdale."
>Vinyl gives you a rather shocked expression
>"You're kidding right? I've never heard of a normal unicorn that can teleport that far."
"Really? Not even Twilight Sparkle?"
>"If any unicorn could do it, it would be her, but still, that's unheard of."
"Interesting, guess I'm gaining a lot more power than I thought.." you whisper to yourself
>"Well, since you said that gave you a headache, I won't ask you to show me anything. But I am curious, wouldn't you need a horn or something to channel the magic through?"
"Uh, yeah.. that's where the whole thing gets a little awkward."
>"Awkwar- ..Oooohh, you don't mean.. Ha, yeah I can totally see that being a bit awkward."
"Yeah, and unfortunately half the damn town got front-row seats to see it in action last night. But at least I don't need to worry so much about hiding it anymore I guess."
>Vinyl can't help but chuckle some more at the thought and image in her mind
"Oh, it's funny is it? Here, laugh some more!"
>With little effort, Vinyl is lifted into the air, and she instantly stops laughing

>You can't help but notice the magic aura you have around her is a slightly darker, more teal color now, almost as if Lyra and Trixie's magic were working together
>It doesn't take long for Vinyl to notice that same color emanating from a bulge in your pants, and she begins to laugh once again, still not putting up any fight against your magic hold on her
>So that's the way you want to play huh?
>You happen to remember hearing that she always has her goggles on in public, and you just can't figure out why
>Time to change that
>As she's lost in a fit of laughter, you magically remove the goggles from her head completely
>Once again she instantly stops, looks around frantically for a moment before noticing you are holding them in your hands
>You've got a fantastic view of her eyes as she stares directly into yours, with a stunned and nervous look in them
>Her eyes, they were.. red
>You've never seen a p0ny with red eyes before, must be why she hides them
>Though you're not sure why, you rather like it
>After a few seconds she snaps out of it and snatches the goggles back from you, covering her eyes once again
>"Dammit man why'd you have to go and do that?"
"Sorry Vinyl, I just had to see. I couldn't figure out why you would always hide your eyes from the public. Besides, you wouldn't stop laughing at my dick, so we're even."
>"Well, now do you know why?"

"Well I've never seen a p0ny with red eyes before, but I still don't get it. Personally, I think they're badass."
>"You don't actually mean that.."
"Yeah, I do. The natural colors that come to you p0nies don't really exist in my world either. So yeah; red eyes, totally awesome." you say with a grin
>"Th- thanks Anon. But most p0ny societies frown upon red eyes, always saying it means the p0ny is possessed by a demon or some shit.. so naturally I just have to avoid all that."
"Demons? Wow... I guess I can understand where they come from but that's still beyond ridiculous."
>"Yeah, tell me about it..."
>The two of you converse for a while longer before Vinyl gets back to work
>You're able to kill some more time throughout the morning and afternoon helping out her and Pinkie Pie
>Not paying attention to the time, you notice a blue streak in the sky, following a fast moving pegasus
>She was heading in the direction of Sweet Apple Acres; must be done with her work for the day
"Wait here girls." you say to Vinyl and Pinkie as they give you confused looks
>You concentrate for a few moments, and in record time you vanish, only to reappear in the sky right in front of Rainbow Dash
>She gasps as her momentum causes her to crash into you
>But you were prepared for this; you brace yourself and wrap your arms around her as she hits you
>Still focusing your magic, you manage to teleport back to the ground where you were just a couple seconds earlier

>Rainbow's momentum keeps up though, as you're both tumbling across the ground
>You come to a stop in front of Vinyl and Pinkie, still holding onto Rainbow as tight as you can
"Damn, that hurt.." you say quietly as you release your death-grip on Rainbow
>"Whoa.. what the buck Anon?"
"What, it looked fun! Besides, I've been here so I didn't want you to go back to the farm and not find me there... you okay?"
>"Ugh, yeah I'm good. You're bucking crazy, you know that?" she lets off a giggle
"Yep."
>Vinyl clears her throat " 'sup Dash."
>RD:"Vinyl!?"
>Rainbow jumps over and gives Vinyl a huge hug
>Apparently they haven't seen each other since the royal wedding, which took place shortly before you arrived in Equestria over a month ago
>Yet they still keep in contact
>Funny Rainbow has never said much about her before, but oh well
>As the day goes on, more p0nies begin to show up, and the preparations are nearly complete
>Soon, the Apple family arrives with a small wagon in tow, full of the catered food
>You didn't help them bring it here, but you'll at least get it situated on the tables for them
>A small stage is pieced together in front of the bleachers, and Vinyl moves another smaller box onto it, opening it up into a podium with a microphone and loudspeaker attached

>After most of the p0nies had situated themselves, the Wonderbolts made their appearance, flying in from the distance in formation until landing in unison on the stage to great applause from the crowd
>You, Vinyl, and the rest of the mane6 were sitting in the front ground-level row of the bleachers
>Even Fluttershy was there, wing still bandaged up
>She had been making a great recovery, and apparently had no suspicion of what actually happened on that night
>The Wonderbolts begin speaking to the crowd, welcoming everyp0ny and all that
>Soon, they start the show by introducing the first p0ny in a series of talented flier performances, of which Rainbow Dash was in
>After a few of them have their go at wooing the crowd, you can see that they're all pretty good, but Rainbow's still going to blow them out of the water
>Especially when she breaks the sound barrier, you just can't wait to see that
>Thankfully she's up last, so only the Wonderbolts themselves would have to worry about living up to her performance
>Rainbow's turn was coming up next
>She was sitting next to you, and you noticed her breathing getting a little heavy
"You okay Rainbow?" you whisper to her "You're not nervous are ya?" you ask as you place your arm around her
>"M-me? N-nervous?" she stutters
"Look, these other pegasi got nothin' on you Rainbow, you're going to blow their minds. Just think only about your routine, nothing else, and you'll be good."

>You catch a weak smile form on her face
>"You're right Anon, but I'm not worried about that. Thanks though." she says, nuzzling against you
>The current performer finishes up, and Soarin, one of the Wonderbolts, makes an announcement
>"Last but not least, we have the self-proclaimed 'fastest flier in Equestria,' Rainbow Dash!" he says as the crowd cheers "Now let's see if she can live up to that declaration."
>Rainbow stands up, but you stop her before she moves forward
"Hey. Be awesome for me." you say with a grin
>She turns back and returns the smile "When am I not awesome?"
>With that, she takes off into the sky and begins her routine

>Nothing else is on your mind right now except watching Rainbow Dash perform her routine
>She was stunning, really; you were always amazed at how agile and precise she was with every little movement
>Nearing the end of her show, you catch a huge grin on her as she zooms across the stage, flys just inches above you and everyp0ny in the bleachers behind you, and takes off straight up into the sky
>This was it
>When she achieves the height she needs, Rainbow Dash begins plummeting to the ground at full-speed
>Everyp0ny is looking on in anticipation as she gets closer and closer
>Finally, you see it
>That same cone of air forming around her
>In just an instant, she breaks through, creating a large, vibrant rainbow-colored ring that bursts outward, followed by a loud booming sound
>She heads down right back over the crowd of onlookers, leaving a rainbow trail behind her
>Dash circles around a couple times, and as the rainbow trail vanishes, she makers her landing on the stage
>Everyp0ny there, yourself included, stands up in their seats and cheers
>You really couldn't believe what you just saw
>Rainbow Dash broke the sound barrier and filled the sky with rainbows
>After putting on a show like that, she deserves to have that ego
>The Wonderbolt Spitfire steps up the microphone, praising Rainbow Dash for her performance as the crowd gives another hearty cheer
>Rainbow remains on stage, bowing and taking in all the adoration

>When it dies down, the Wonderbolts dismiss the crowd for about half an hour so they can get ready for the real show
>Your eyes haven't left Rainbow Dash since she first took flight, and you think she just realized this
>Most p0nies in the bleachers had gone down for food and drinks, while the rest of the mane6 moved forward to congratulate Rainbow
>They had all seen her do it before, but even to them it was an incredible show
>Dash keeps a smug look as she's greeted by her friends
>You stand up from your front-row bleacher seat, and Rainbow spots you again
>She trots away from the others to greet you
>"Well, what'd ya think?"
>When Rainbow stops in front of you, still with that smug grin, you drop to your knees and place your hands on her shoulders
"That was the most incredible thing I've ever seen, that's what I think!"
>She beams and jumps into your arms giving you a hug, which you gladly return
>"Ha, of course it was, I knew you'd love it!"
"You know what else I love?" you whisper to her so nop0ny else hears you, even though the rest of the mane6 are watching you both with anticipation
>"Hmm?" she happily mumbles as you pull back from the hug, hands still on her shoulders, looking deep into her big magenta eyes
"You, Dashie."
>Rainbow's eyes widen, a wild pink blush races across her features, as she stares into your eyes to your very soul

>A few moments pass, Rainbow Dash frozen in place, before she finally leaps forward once again, wrapping her front legs around you and planting her lips on yours
>Your kiss of destiny lasts all of a couple seconds before your friends, the rest of the mane6, begin cheering
>Rainbow breaks the kiss and gasps at the cheers
"Hey what are you worried about huh? They all saw it coming." you whisper to her
>"Ah, buck it." she says, going back in for another kiss
>As a little celebration, you conjure up some magic fireworks above you and Rainbow
>Thankfully nobody can actually see you do this, but they all know who it was all the same
>Rainbow breaks the kiss once again and looks up
>"What the-"
"Just havin' a little fun Dashie." you say with a giggle
>She turns back and smiles at you
>"Dashie huh?"
"What, ya don't like it?"
>"No, I love it! And, I.. love you, too, Anon." she says slowly as she leans in for a hug
>"Thank you.."
>You return the hug for a few moments before breaking off
"So hey, I could totally go for some food right about now, how about you?"
>"Oooh yeah." she responds enthusiastically
>The two of you stand up and head in the direction of the tables covered in delicious apple-flavored goodness
>Your friends join you, but you don't get far before Twilight pulls you aside
>"Hey, can I talk to you for a second Anon?"
"Sure Twi, what's up?"
>The others don't notice and continue walking away

>"Well.. First of all, I'm.. really happy for you and Rainbow. But does this mean you'll stop rutting other mares? I don't want to have to do any more experiments on you and find something neither of us like, and.. more importantly, I really don't want to see you break Rainbow Dash's heart."
"Don't worry Twilight, I honestly love Rainbow Dash, I couldn't bare losing her now... Besides, I was only with Lyra."
>"Anon, don't give me that, I know Trixie's magic when I see it."
>Well, shit
>"A part of me is curious, but I'm better off not knowing, and you're better off leaving all of that behind you and moving on with Rainbow."
"You're right Twilight. I'm really satisfied with the power and knowledge I've gained already, no need for any more."
>Twilight smiles when she hears that
"Then again, I'd still really like yours."
>Aaaaand, it's gone
>"Anon, that's not funny..."
>Yet you can't help but chuckle
"Sorry Twilight, just messin' with ya... But hey, I want you to know that you're a real good friend, and that I appreciate everything you've done for me.. especially keeping something like this between us."
>"Yeah well, just make sure you leave it in the past, and.. thanks. It means a lot to me. Now are you ready to get some food or what?"
"Definitely."
>The food that the Apple family brought is just as orgasmic as always

>Just about on-schedule, the Wonderbolts announce the beginning of their performance as nearly everyp0ny around rushes back to the bleachers
>You and the mane6 return to your seats at the front, Dashie snuggling against you as you hang an arm around her
>Their synchronized maneuvers remind you of the Blue Angels back on Earth
>Except, you know, these were little p0nies and not F/A-18 Hornets
>Still, they were remarkable as a team
>Rainbow Dash ended up on the edge of her seat, watching in awe, before it was over
>Eventually, the rather lengthy show comes to an end, to great applause and cheers from the crowd
>Spitfire gives a short speech, ending with wishing everyp0ny a joyful rest of Hearts and Hooves Day
>That gives Vinyl Scratch the cue to start the music
>As she does, the portable makeshift dancefloor lights up and the bar opens
>Rainbow is pretty worn out from her show earlier so you two just decide to find a spot on the grass to relax, near and still within view of of the party
>Vinyl finishes up the current mix and makes an announcement
>"Heeey everyp0ny, can we hear it one more time for our very own Rainbow Dash!"
>Just as some cheers begin, she continues "And the new couple!"
>Anybody who hadn't turned their gaze to you two the first time definitely did now
>A brilliant shade of red had spread across Rainbow's features
>Everyp0ny just cheered and woo'ed though

>A few moments pass and Vinyl starts up another mix, leaving you and Dash to yourselves again
>The sun soon drops below the horizon, and the party continues for a few more hours as p0nies and couples periodically leave
>Lyra had shown up at one point and asked if you were going to have any more 'study' sessions with her
>You said you would, but it'd have to be professional from now on; nothing sexual
>She didn't seem too happy, but agree'd
>Fluttershy, Rarity, and Twilight had left rather early
>Pinkie was having the time of her life as always, no way was she slowing down any time soon
>You, Rainbow, and Applejack had some drinks and were enjoying drunken conversations
>Applejack eventually leaves, quietly letting you know not to worry about work in the morning
>After most of the p0nies had left, Vinyl finishes up and and begins packing up her equipment
>Some other p0nies had come around to help clean up, while you and Rainbow take a stroll around the outside of P0nyville, in the direction of Sweet Apple Acres
>You were both a bit tipsy, but not enough to be stumbling around or slurring words much
>As you enjoy a long quiet walk under the moonlight, you soon find yourself at the far back orchards behind Sweet Apple Acres, barely in sight of the house and nothing else but wilderness
>Rainbow Dash stops you as you approach the orchards
>"Hey, Anon.. Can we stop here for a while?"
"Uh.. sure Dashie."

>Rainbow takes a seat on the ground and gazes across the night sky
>You sit down next to her and do the same
>"I was thinking.. this has been a great day and all, but I think it needs to end with a bang. Something, awesome, ya know?"
>You chuckle at her comment and notice a hint of blush forming on her cheeks
"Sure, what did ya have in mind?"
>"Something I'm sure we could both really use right about now."
>As she says that, she turns and lands her lips upon yours
>After a couple seconds she places her fore-hooves on your shoulders, forcing you to the ground on your back
>Once there, your mouths open, turning a sensual kiss into a battle of the tongues
>Looking down past the action, you notice Rainbow's tail lifting into the air
>Taking the hint, you begin to pull off your pants
>The distraction has given Rainbow dominance in your mouth, but you're okay with this
>She can have this victory, because you're going to destroy her when the real fun begins
>Rainbow finally pulls out of your mouth, allowing you to breathe
>She looks down in-between the two you and notices your throbbing erection aiming at it's prize
>Her gaze is returned to you, as she grins and gives you bedroom eyes
"Straight to the point huh?" you say to her as she begins to slowly lower herself onto you
>"Well duh, what else is there?" she responds, giving you a quizzical look
"Looks like I'm going to have to teach you a thing or two, but for now.. continue."

>After the most satisfying sexual encounter you've had so far, you invite Rainbow to stay the night with you, which she happily agrees to
>You and your Dashie would fall asleep together on your bed in each-other's embrace, as happy as either of you have ever been
>This night will easily go down as the best night you've had in Equestria
>However you're convinced it's only going to get better
>That is, until you wake up...

NOTE:
Sorry for not writing a clop scene. I know some of you want it, but I just can't write it. The few lines of clop I wrote for chapters 3 and 4 worked, but the interaction with Rainbow deserves a more complete scene, and I just can't do it, my mind goes blank. I'm not saying I won't still try, but don't expect it any time soon.
Of course, if somebody wants to write it for me, be my guest. :P
