Not to mention the amount of content you listed is LESS than SOLDIERS Heroes of WW2 had. 20 Equipment/Vehicles and all that split between 2 faction? Only 2 Factions? 85. Varenvel: so here is my question , why modern warfare? i never liked modern warfare games , most gets very generic , not having balls to actualy present something interesting , why not pick korean war(vietman was fun) why not make cold war scenario war broke lose(like in world in conflict , it was really great game who made own scenario for own needs and they made really great game , i dont like when games become slaves of history ether , having history in game is fun but if it not works , you can makeup something to fit) i dont want to say you made mistake , but most games was about ww2(not counting vietnam) , why sudently skip so huge time of good wars for good material of game to jump into waters already filed with "modern warfare games"

Will Call To Arms feature Mod support? 3.) Will vehicles have fully functioning suspension systems whereby the vehicles are no longer glued to the game world as in MoW atm., 4.) 173. DivineFrog: How much variety can we expect from Call To Arms with only two playable sides? Many of us appreciated the variety and permutable possibilites that inherently came with having a large unit pool to select from, and I would like to know how much of that breadth we may lose on that front with the release version of Call to Arms. Do you plan to add sides or unit variation in the future, post-launch? If so, will it be via patch or DLC? Thank you!

  179. The chat room has been set to officers-only chat by Instinct.
  180. Instinct: Alright, I'll be busy
  181. Instinct: Varenvel, we picked modern warfare because it allows us to have a completely fresh start without being limited by previously released titles. Don't expect it to be the average modern warfare game, it will feature very exciting new stuff and very different gameplay compared to what you have seen before. It just offers us a great opportunity to make an exciting new game.
  182. Instinct: OG cat, we won't have a public alpha, but a beta will be available to backers (see the reward list) sometime this year
  183. Instinct: Wersom, yes the game will have an editor
  184. Instinct: Ultimaratio, as before you will have a lot of possibilities to mod the game
  185. Instinct: Tomas, we are very much behind the game, I can't tell what will happen if we don't reach the funding goal, but we are certainly not dropping it. However the more support we have, the better game we can do.
  186. Instinct: Godygamer, yes, we are working hard on making the game feel distinct from other titles in the series.
  187. Instinct: North Koreanen, Vietnam wasn't developed by Digitalmindsoft, we are working hard on delivering a much better game than AS
  188. Instinct: TheSadhatter, we are currently working on Steam Matchmaking implementation to the game
  189. Instinct: About the 2 factions, we have the US and the GRM (a fictive arab nation), many more nations are planned to be added after release. Some of them are stretch goals on the funding page.
  190. Instinct: Trotskygrad, we are working on improving the interface, controls, especially direct control and making the AI smarter. On top of it, all the new assets are desigend with more care to deliver exciting gameplay possibilities
  191. Instinct: Raptorx7, the funding helps us making a better game with more content and with more features
  192. Instinct: Thourq, 1. Too early to talk about them. 2. There will be a bigger focus on infantry. (They are designed with much more love and more detail), 3. Too many to talk about them yet :), have a look on the screenshots section, we posted some new weapons today
  193. Instinct: North Koreanen, we don't have plans to add civilians yet. So maybe, maybe not.
  194. Instinct: In regards of the engine, we just updated the shader model the engine is running on, the programming team is currently working on proper multi-core support, the engine will be much better than before
  195. Instinct: Sturmfuhrer, 1. Currently 1 core is doing most of the job while the others are hardly used, so your CPU usage will dramatically increase and thus performance improve. Together with a new netcode, you'll enjoy advanced graphics with way better performance. 2. Yes, 3. We are planning to add suspension to vehicles. 4. We are working on supporting more sound channels
  196. Instinct: Raxx, air units will be featured in singleplayer/coop for now. It will be possible to allow direct control on air units, however, this is not decided yet.
  197. SirScorpion has been invited to chat.
  198. Instinct: Mikeltje, the performance will be a lot better and we are planning to support CtA for a long time
  199. Instinct: AB, we focus on smaller engagements, not total warfare. It will be realistic because drones and fighter jets are not available all the time in reality either.
  200. Instinct: Battle Ace, a recording feature will most likely be available
  201. Instinct: DivineFrog, the variety comes with a lot more depth than in previous titles. Infantry is much better designed and features a lot more equipment than in any other title. Also the gameplay is not symmetrical like in Men of War, both armies feature different squad layouts and weaknesses/strengths. A lot more stuff is planned after release, or by fans backing the project early on.
  202. Instinct: alright
  203. Instinct: new questions :)
  204. The chat room has been set to all-users chat by Instinct.
  205. Salvatoori: I don’t give a fuck who you are or where you live. You can count on me to be there to bring your fucking life to a hellish end. I’ll put you in so much fucking pain that it’ll make Jesus being nailed to a cross in the desert look like a fucking back massage on a tropical island. I don’t give a fuck how many reps you have or how tough you are IRL, how well you can fight, or how many fucking guns you own to protect yourself. I’ll fucking show up at your house when you aren’t home. I’ll turn all the lights on in your house, leave all the water running, open your fridge door and not close it, and turn your gas stove burners on and let them waste gas. You’re going to start stressing the fuck out, your blood pressure will triple, and you’ll have a fucking heart attack. You’ll go to the hospital for a heart operation, and the last thing you’ll see when you’re being put under in the operating room is me hovering above you, dressed like a doctor. When you wake up after being operated on, wondering what ticking time bomb is in your chest waiting to go off. You’ll recover fully from your heart surgery. And when you walk out the front door of the hospital to go home I’ll run you over with my fucking car out of no where and kill you. I just want you to know how easily I could fucking destroy your pathetic excuse of a life, but how I’d rather go to a great fuckng length to make sure your last remaining days are spent in a living, breathing fucking hell. It’s too late to save yourself, but don’t bother committing suicide either… I’ll fucking resuscitate you and kill you again myself you bitch-faced phaggot. Welcome to hell, population: you
  206. Fudge: is it possible for you to copt the question you are answering when you make a reply as some of the answers "yes" mean nothing currently?
  207. Windmaker: 1. Are you going to release this game also in Poland?
  208. 2. What kind of DLC there will be - unit packs, map packs, missions packs, something different like skins packs?
  209. 3. Are you going to increase size of unit roster in future? More different units per nation then one created on release?
  210. 4. How far will you integrate game with Steam?
  211. 5. Will there be change in map size? As you focus on infantry, maps will be the same size, bigger or maybe smaller?
  212. 6. New models are very detailed, are you going to increase damage zones number?
  213. 7. What about ATGMs?
  214. 8. Are you going to increase number of actions infantry will be able to perform? Different move types, covering fire etc.?
  215. Topsi: Answer my question first
  216. Brinktjofzki: I have understood that any kind of single-player mode will be a stretch goal in the funding. As this was a thing that I found was the most fun thing to play in MoW I wonder; how far would this stretch be? Also if a single-player campaign or such is achieved, will there be a co-op mode? And in that case will you build upon the old MoW system, or make a new? I felt that the MoW system was good but could feel a bit unpolished. Thanks!
  217. Biiskaps: Is there any chance to have ww2 DLC? AS map and unit port to new engine. Should be easy enough.
  218. IXIspitzIXI: Spectator mode?
  219. Yohonson: still using engine from "Soldiers: Heroes of World War II"(2004!)? Guys, no offence but its 9 years old now. Anyway my question is will there be a matchbox, in S:HoWW2 they was, and in MoW they wasnt but there was flamethrower, and i think matches is more fun
  220. Greg the Greek: REALISM MORE ABOUT IT
  221. OG cat: can we get some SQL support so we can mod in persistent gaming?
  222. Topsi: You didn't answer my question yet, instinct
  223. Morp left chat.
  224. petercrab: will the new steam match making system ever make its way to assault squad?
  225. OG cat: arma2 has that. with some sql dll scenarios like dayz would be possible
  226. RobZ: Mow had mathces but u didnt get them online
  227. Shooterr AG: "Will there be nazis?" well, will there? I better find Hitler in there somewhere, answer it!
  228. Mikeltje: How will the game get support from developement as the game ages. Will it be addon's (Big additions) or DLC's (small increments).
  229.
  230. Could the developement team think about not doing DLC content as it will devide the community by having a map or unit pack that someone else does not.
  231. IXIspitzIXI: multiplayer AI?
  232. Instinct: Topsi, post it again
  233. DivineFrog: IXIspitzIXI: multiplayer AI?
  234. <---- THIS
  235. Thinking42Man: Will there be multi-z-level terrain? as in, basements or tunnels as well as ground level and perhaps large 2nd and higher stories?
  236. OG cat: also, can we get ingame MAP DOWNLOAD.
  237. Ultimaratio: further support for AS? 1c showed pics of new tanks?
  238. wildweasel entered chat.
  239. Topsi: How will the lack of interest in your crowdfunding will affect game development?
  240. AB: the singleplayer levels for offline, will those be the same as in previous titles, as in you are being given some troops and then you have to go to a point on the map, and that for every mission, or will the singeplayer mission be more different? or is het focus on online gameplay?
  241. {sBc} Trotskygrad: will we be seeing new equipment that performs differently, like airburst rounds for the OICW, backblast doing damage, flashbangs that affect units, canister shot for tanks, perhaps gear that changes the sight range of infantry such as NVGs, etc?
  242. [FAS]Stakor: Will the maps be made by rules?
  243. RobZ: Will it be ragdolls on infatry deaths?
  244. Thourq: I saw the screenshots and saw the huge M4 variations. I'm curious to know how that will be handled, will the infantry spawn with a random rifle configuration? Will it change in any way how the weapon is handled by an experienced/inexperienced shooter? Will you add Underslung Grenade Launchers? Will Vehicles have any form of Active Protection System? (I know the US doesn't have any of their vehicles equipped with such, doesn't mean it can't be included into a game).

  250. Sgt.Nikoy left chat.
  251. Ultimaratio: other factions dlc as CA does with ROME 2 and Shogun2?
  252. Varenvel: 1:- another question if ill have chance , why kickstarter? did your previous games did not sell well enough to make profit? you said erlier it helps you make better game with more fetures , right now i see oposite , if goals wont be reached no game "as good as asault squad" and no varierity
  253.
  254. 2:- reason i supported men of war(since heroes of ww2) it was more complex game then any other and offered so much freedom 5 nations with streanght and weaknesses , you dont see it in games(is there any rts who had 5 or more who are difrent not just reskins?) now we get 2 , what if scretchgoals are not reached? aint that digging your own grave with kickstarter? was not it better to give preorder bonuses? its so sucesfull its ridicules
  255. Boomson: First person mode where the view rotates with the aiming reticule?
  256. DivineFrog: I believe the lack of crowdfunding is due to it being outside a more well-known means, like kickstarter. It's why none of my friends nor I have pledged yet.
  257. Neuromante: will the skirmish gamemode be the primary campaign type of mission? I always felt they were very repetitive.
  258. Raxx: A popular mod for the previous MOW games were the Dynamic Campaign Generator, are you thinking of adding something like that to the base game?
  259. Lakisha left chat.
  260. {sBc} Trotskygrad: will we see better implementation of crewed weapons (ability to deploy in windows, etc)
  261. Brinktjofzki: Also another thing, don't you feel that USA vs. Middle east is a bit overly cliché by now?
  262. Osseon: Hey instinct: What fundamental changes will there be to the engine compared to Men of War: Assualt squad excluding updated graphics.
  263. OG cat: the game needs a better sales pitch
  264. Salvatoori: Killstreaks?
  265. Ultimaratio: and maybe a new name
  266. OG cat: the current videos dont show nothing except a m16 model. we need to see tanks and stuff.
  267. RobZ: will it be ragolls on infantry deaths? and can u make it so the FOV of units is accutaly blocked by objects so i know exactly what he can see?
  268. SynthSol: Are you currently preparing for the funding campaign to move to Kickstarter?
  269. Fudge: Will you be doing a kickstarter? I've backed over 50 projects now so i may be able to give tips on what seems to succeed
  270. Thourq: Can we still put any new defensive emplacements? Such as Sandbags, Tank Traps, etc.
  271. eaofdeath left chat.
  272. Ultimaratio: arrr sandbags
  273. DivineFrog: USA vs Arab is reaally uninteresting and something most people are tired of. I know assets have already been created for it. But Im seriously just letting you know that it could be worth a re-tooling for another theme.

  293. fierrcce: What about game modes? Eg. Unlimited Resources in Vs. mode for more of '' fun ''. Say two friends just more wanting to just play/battle rather than have a set goal or objective. Sort of more like a User-made objective game mode and not the standard old Capture/hold points, FFA with drasticly low points/unit allowance etc.
  294. [LSSAH]Canzah: Seeing as you conveniently ignored my question, I will keep repeating it. Why are you alienating your core fanbase by making yet another uninspired Modern Warfare game? Especially when it's clear you won't be able to outclass World in Conflict and Wargame: European Escalation, far superior modern warfare themed startegy tactics games. You claim you want to improve upon MoWAS but in reality all the features you described (amount of factions, equipment, vehicles) is in every bit LESS than SOLDIERS Heroes of WW2, let alone the later games (FoW/MoW/MoWAS). Why is it yet another game that glorifies a nation as horrible as US of A? Why is 90% of assets so far recycled from MoWAS? Why did the alpha gameplay you showed look more like very early pre-alpha prototype? Why are you making a bad, uninspired cash grab in the first place?
  295. The chat room has been set to officers-only chat by Instinct.
  296. Instinct: Windmaker: 1. We plan to release it wherever we can, but steam has priority. 2. Mostly new factions and DLC with exciting new content. 3. It's very likely that we'll add more units after release per faction. 4. It will be a Steamworks title with Steam fully implemented. 5. It's hard to talk about the map sizes, as MoW had very different ones. Overall per player the are bigger. 6. Not at this point. 7. ATGMs are not discussed yet. 8. Also too early to talk about.
  297. Instinct: Brinktjofzki, once we add Singleplayer, the content will be available as coop multiplayer as well. This is one of the best features and we intend to keep it. Singleplayer is a stretch goal because we want to do it in a very polished fashion. As for the stretch goal, I can't remember out of my head, but somewhere in the middle.
  298. Instinct: Biiskaps, unlikely that we will do a WW2 DLC. However modders will have no issues doing so.
  299. Instinct: spitz, spectator mode is possible, but not discussed yet
  300. Instinct: Yohonson, you'll find matches in MoWAS :)
  301. Instinct: petercrab, we have more plans for Assault Squad and share them soon, you'll like it, I'm sure :)
  302. Instinct: Mikeltje, DLC is a very relative term, we plan to make quite big DLC that add a lot of exciting new stuff, but don't splitt the community. :)
  303. Instinct: spitz, multiplayer AI is on our wish list, but that really depends on the funding or initial sales
  304. Instinct: Thinking42Man, not as of yet, buildings maybe but tunnels are unlikely.
  305. Instinct: OG cat, in-game map download might be possible but that's another feature that depends on the backing
  306. Instinct: AB, we are planning to create singleplayer content that is varying a lot and offers many different types of gameplay :)
  307. Instinct: Trostkygrad, we'll see new sort of equipment, but we'll work on the basics first and expand the game step by step
  308. Instinct: Thourq, all soldiers have different weapon skills and perform with equipment differently. Elite soldiers will have advanced equipment that can be used by regular infantry as well, however they will perform much worse :)
  309. Instinct: As for the other features, it's too early to talk about them
  310. Instinct: Ultimariatio, honestly I don't know how they handle it, but we'll let players play against DLC owners
  311. Instinct: Varenvel, 1) they did sell well however creating games is a very expensive thing to do, especially since players expect improvements over previous titles, that means every game we create becomes more and more expensive. Kickstarter allows us to be independent from publishers who may have a different idea of what is right for the game and community. In the end, both developers and players get a game that's more the way they like it to be.
  312. Instinct: Boomson, a first person mode is not yet planned, however it will be possible for CtA.
  313. Instinct: DivineFrog, yes we've been rather silent about the game yet and that's on purpose, we'll move to kickstarter once we think the game is ready to show it to a wide audience
  314. Instinct: Raxx, yes we thought about it, but it's a very time consuming thing and maybe something for a later stage
  315. Instinct: Trotskygard, maybe, even though it affects only a few of them
  316. Instinct: Osseaon, to see the main engine changes, like on the first funding goal @ http://www.digitalmindsoft.eu/products/call-to-arms
  317. Instinct: RobZ, we are working on way better physics
  318. Instinct: Fudge, we'll move to kickstarter, yes
  319. Instinct: DivineFrog, I agree and that's why we'll do it very different compared to others :)
  320. Instinct: Neuromante, I don't think frontlines fits CtA very much, however there might be a similar gamemode down the road ;)
  321. Instinct: Borded Ops) thanks, we are working hard on it :)
  322. Instinct: fierrcee, maybe as customization, but I can't promise it yet

  334. Thourq: I'm curious to know how maps will be designed, as you said earlier you're giving more love towards infantry. Will we see more infantry accessible locations in buildings/environment? One of my gripes with buildings in all your games, especially damaged buildings, was that it wasn't easy to navigate soldiers into/out of. Some areas the AI couldn't even get to and I could using Direct Control, but sometimes that would often get my infantry stuck. I would often have issues with infantry getting stuck in fallen debris when a building would collapse around them. You've answered a question regarding unit movement and said it was to early to talk about it, but I'd like it if infantry could faul over some cover, that may even solve some of cover issues I spoke about. Also if th AI could do it without having you to command them yourself, like in your previous titles. Lastly, you've also spoken a lot about weapon customizations and even mentioned that units will come with differing loadouts, but will we be able to customize our soldier's loadouts at will? Will there be an army editor or anything of the sort?

  361. Jesus Chrust: 'Also, will we see a mode like skirmish from AS but in the reverse. Where we hold the line for X time while AI waves attack?' was the first or second dlc
  362. [LSSAH]Canzah: Troll? Because I don't approve of shady Kickscammer methods? The game has less content promised than SOLDIERS, first game in the series, yet they claim they want to make it better than Aassault Squad.
  363. Boomson: Is Combat mode going to stay?
  364. DivineFrog: I'm watching the video on the website, and it simply feels like it doesnt quite fit, given that modern weapons are so much more accurate and light and precise. Personally I feel this will make direct control a lot more difficult as the AI will much more effectively be able to transition between targets with relatively small cross sections to the camera. Is there any way you can help resolve this or mitigate it? like have another cursor just to acknoledge that your mouse is over it, even if the barrel isnt pointed there yet? (that was a little obnoxious in laggy games in previous editions)
  365. [LSSAH]Canzah: The fact they are ALREADY planning Day 1 DLC is even more disgusting.

  377. Raxx: A final question from me, are we going to see any naval units in this game?

  396. DivineFrog: @ OG: If the game isnt worth the release cost and i have to pay more for the same amount of content i got out of the box from MoWAS, I wont.
  397. Sturmfuhrer: Heer Sturmfuhrers Questions 1.) As an old time modder of such titles as SHOWW2 and Faces of War Instinct, how does your team value modding in the current community, namely for MoW and MoW AS but also for Call To Arms and will you help to support the few that choose to go down this road? 2.) Will there be more nature in CTA, i.e birds, dogs, cats e.t.c to create a sense of realism to the missions? 3.) Will there be an in-game lobby advertising the latest community made maps? 4.) Will be an in-game MP lobby translator? 5.) Will you consider releasing more modding tutorials , such as modelling and mapping for CTA to help the community understand you assets? 5.) Have you considered dynamic terrain, i.e if it rains in the middle of the mission, grass becomes mud and provides more camouflage but reduced movment and visibility? 6.) Will there be any improvments over your revolutionary armour penetration system? 7.) have you managed to fix the broken co-op unit allocation in Assault Squad? Regards, Sturm.
  398. AB: So far iv'e bought every men of war game as soon as it came out, and i will probably do it again, because after years and years of playing I think it's right to put some convidence in this company

  408. Instinct: WhiteSnoop, the Singleplayer is very likely to be quite different from Assault Squad. Both games have a very distinct gameplay.
  409. Instinct: Thourq, we are working with much care so that maps have a perfect size for the gameplay and player count, that all objects/assets work very well with the cover system and the features applied to them. Maps are created with a lot of love and detail offering players a much bigger variety of tactics and decisions they can make. Of course all maps are tested very well for pathing, same for objects. Overall, they will be a much more polished experience :)
  410. Instinct: In general the AI takes a lot less work from the player to do it's job. Micro-management is reduced to a level of tactical decisions and not babysitting soldiers.
  411. Instinct: North Koreanen, unlikely, while it's a nice idea, we need to keep focus
  412. Instinct: OG cat, modding is very different depending on the engine, a SQL modding is not planned
  413. Instinct: North Koreanen, a coop survival mode is very likely to be introduced in CtA
  414. Instinct: Styrth, not as of now, as the gameplay is very different
  415. Instinct: Battle Ace, navy and airforce will be limited to singleplayer mostly.
  416. Instinct: Suppression is a key feature of CtA, it's extremely important to cover your attacking squad from multiple directions to avoid total suppression. Even a poorly armed squad can do quite some harm in close combat by suppressing another squad with automatic weapons.
  417. Instinct: Filip, it will have more of a campaign, with hopefully the best of AS and MoW combined.
  418. Instinct: Boomson, probably but the full set of gamemmodes is not yet decided
  419. Instinct: DivineFrog, that impression might be because it's a super elite squad fighting there. In fact direct control is far less of a must and more convenient to use.
  420. Instinct: Canzah, there is no day 1 DLC as you claim. Stay on topic please, or feel the banhammer :)
  421. Instinct: Trotskygrad, we don't want to make the game too complex, we'll see what fits and what doesnt...
  422. Instinct: Ulimtaratio, multiplayer AI is planned, but depends also on the backing.
  423. Instinct: Raxx, naval units might be in singleplayer, but way too early to talk about
  424. Instinct: Boomson, we might need to update our shop :)
  425. Instinct: Thourq, off-map support is very likely, but in singleplayer/coop
  426. Instinct: Ultimaratio, we can't disclose that, but the team got expanded for works on CtA
  427. Instinct: Greg the Greek, weapons have different weapon behaviour, accuracy and ammunition they use
  428. Instinct: DivineFrog, we set quality above quantity, you'll see soon enough what you get for your money
  429. Instinct: Sturmfuhrer, 1) We've been always in contact with those who created popular mods and we intend to support them in the future as well. 2) Maybe, 3) The multiplayer system will be very different. 4) no, 5) Depends on how much time is left, but why not. 6) not yet. 7) Most likely yes. 8) It's not broken, but CtA might use another system

  434. Thourq: Great, I just realized my mistake, when I said "faul" I meant "vault over". I'm glad to hear about the maps. You answered before that you can't talk about how big the maps are, I think. Though I am curious as to how big they really will be and how vehicle speeds will be portrayed in the game. Now what I'm about to ask, may not be something that can be spoken about now, but I thought it would be good to throw out the question anyway. Considering we now will be using MBTs, less tanks, more armored/light vehicles, how will your armor penetration system work? There's a multitude of armor types. How wil Slat Armor on a Stryker work? What about ERA bricks, etc. All in all, how will your current AP system work with these new RPG/ATGM counter measures in place in a modern battlefield? Will we have some units that may "panic" under fire? Say, if under supression, they will have slightly less accuracy. Because the current system in MoW AS, has the enemies pinned down and barely get up to shoot, though I don't see any reduction in their aim. Lastly, will we have more night maps for MP? Will flashlights play a larger role, considering we now have rifle mounted flashlights, how will that work out? Will we also see Night Vision come into play? How will that work out too?
  435. IXIspitzIXI: Thanks for your time Instinct
  436. Instinct: Last round of questions for today :)
  437. DivineFrog: Hey Instinct, do you know if that god-awfull vehicle direct control stun will go away? From hitting objects? Like if you dink into a rock at 1mph, Youre stunned for like 3 seconds.
  438. Thourq: Oh great, did he leave? :(
  439. Brinktjofzki: When I play the multiplayer of MoW I feel that it is very much based on gaining points, and in the ones where you have to secure a location, you still get points for destroying enemy equipment. I'd rather have modes where you only get points for strategic objectives. I feel it's more realistic, ex: In the battle of Prokhorovka the Soviets suffered much heavier losses than the Germans, but they still managed to push the Germans back, and won the day. Often, large enough quantities beat qualitative troops. What do you think about this?

  507. Instinct: Thourq, most of your questions must be answered with we'll see :) A lot of new features and specs need to be tested and we'll likely add many more features after release. At the moment it's very important for us to get the basic gameplay ready. A great and very polished fundament allows us to build much more on it without having the issue we have with MoW. Tons of features that aren't implemented very well. Maps will be in a similar scale of MoWAS, but with more room per player.
  508. Instinct: DivineFrog, hopefully that will be fixed with new physics integrated
  509. Instinct: Brinktjofzki, we'll likely integrate a more advanced points system that rewards teamplayers
  510. Instinct: Ultimaratio, a lot. Mostly that it's not a new game built up from the ground. However CtA is and allows us to deliver way better quality content.
  511. Instinct: ShumannTheDog, there will be less to start with, but we'll expand them step by step. We can't throw out tons of maps. Instead we'll spend much more time per map to increase quality dramatically :)
  512. Instinct: 50 maps don't help, if only 10 are worth playing on
  513. Instinct: OG cat, not all weapons are using full auto, some use single fire as well. Especially the US faction is a lot better in fighting on distance, while the GRM have tons of inaccurate auto weapons that do a great job on close distance. M4 ACOG behaves totally different to a standard M4.
  514. Instinct: Trotskygard, animations will be improved, we integrated animation support for finger bones for instance.
  515. Instinct: North Koreanen, we believe the game plays best with less units per player, however if you think otherwise, mods can change the game to unlimited units.
  516. Instinct: General Storm Hellraiser, a single soldier can take out any type of unit if used wisely :)
  517. Instinct: WhiteSnoop, it's too early to talk about mission concepts yet :)
  518. Instinct: Ultimaratio, there are plenty of topics in the forums which ask those very questions. There is no "the community", there are many invidividuals with very different taste and wishes.
  519. Instinct: Battle Ace, 1) It makes suppression part of the game logic, not a problem. 2) yes. 3) the good ones, yes :)
  520. Instinct: DivineFrog, you'd be surprised how much better infantry gameplay still can get :)
  521. Instinct: Boomson, I noted your suggestion, yes we should define borders clearly
  522. Instinct: Ultimaratio, less complexity means players understand what's going on and don't guess how features or game mechanics work. Do you need a button to unload ammo from your tank or weapon?
  523. Instinct: or do you understand how armor penetration really works in-game?
  524. Instinct: Alright, thank you very much for your questions, I hope I was able to clarify some points :)
  525. Instinct: and for those who stay a little longer, I'll post a screenshot
