- /STYLE (Snake's Requiem)
- Striking Snake (4)
- The snake is slow while it maneuvers, but when it can strike from ambush, it moves like lightning. You emulate this ability to blindside your foe with a fast and precise strike.
- You may make a Stealth check as a Minor Action on initiative. If you do, you have a +10 Speed bonus for this turn against anyone who fails to include an Awareness check as a Minor Action on their initiative that equals or exceeds your Stealth result.
- Crushing Coils (3)
- The focus in Snake's Requiem is to quickly and efficiently put down the target and move on; they focus on weak joints and tendons, crushing bones and snapping muscles.
- Whenever you would create an Injury Condition, you may instead create a Shattering Condition. Shattering Conditions always apply an Action Penalty, but also apply a Disrupt of equal magnitude, chosen at the creation of the condition. Note that this is Disrupt is not subject to the condition's trigger (it always applies), but is otherwise treated as a penalty from Chi Conditions.
- Sneaking Mission (2)
- The Snake knows how to blend in with the environment, moving slowly or not at all when it has to, wearing the right colors or items to avoid detection - fatigues in the jungle, cardboard boxes in buildings. In this way, it completes its mission without engaging the enemy at all.
- You have a +5 bonus to your Stealth.
- /INTERNAL
- /STYLE (Serpent Soul)
- 1. Cobra's Bite
- The most basic technique, this allows you to create the venom of a cobra in your opponent's blood.
- You can use the Poison effect as a Minor Action on your attack with a +5 bonus.
- 2. Viper's Bite
- This technique allows you to create the venom of the deadlier viper in your opponent's blood.
- You can use the Poison effect as a Minor Action on your attack with a +10 bonus.
- 2. Body Paralyzing Venom
- By flooding your opponent's body with paralyzing venom, you impair their ability to fight.
- If your Poison effect hits, you may spontaneously create a Disrupt condition without the need for a Marvel. The difficulty of curing the condition is Moderate (20); each additional Chi spent on this technique increases the difficulty by one step.
- 3. Krait's Bite
- This technique allows you to create in your opponent's blood the venom of a krait, the deadliest in the land of Shen Zhou....though only the land.
- You can use the Poison effect as a Minor Action on your attack with a +15 bonus. If it forces an immediate Rippling roll, the roll receives a +5 bonus.
- 3. Lesson of the Fang
- The venomous snakes of the world bear many impressive fangs, but they are useless for tearing a foe apart and only dangerous as a means of delivering their venom. Their venom is, however, more than deadly enough to recompense. You have learned to use your weapons in the way a snake uses its fangs, not to cut or impale the heart of your foe but to deliver your venom straight to it.
- If your Strike forces an immediate rippling roll, you may treat it as a Poison attack. Your Damage applies to the rippling roll as normal, though it cannot be enhanced with any other Internal Kung-Fu.
