as much as i like juri/shiori from an idealistic perspective because it's been confirmed the feelings were mutual in the end and also newsflash im gay, i still can't quite say i realistically see it happening (at least not for a couple of years, if even)

juri needs to continue healing, shiori needs to continue growing to love herself and not compare herself to others and let jealousy blind her? by the end of the anime they are starting anew, yeah, but just by saying "it's a clean start" doesn't mean immediately things are ok which is kinda implied by the distace they have in the end; amicable yeah but distance nonetheless, and i respect and appreciate that...... juri deserves to have a locket with her own picture inside and shiori needs to spend more time polishing her own sword as weird as that sounds without context. i really like the message of moving on after toxic self destructive love and focusing on yourself afterwards for the sake of self love and self growth? they're so young and made so many mistakes and have so much to learn through the years and i'm sure they'll both eventually reach happiness, whether it's together or individually.
