  1. >Winds whips around me in a flurry
  2. >The very air seems to scream in angry, or perhaps fear
  3. >All I can hear is her screaming
  4. >The monster came and took her away
  5. >Away, into the woods
  6. >I try to follow them, chasing and running
  7. >But there's no sign of them
  8. >I weep on the leaves covered ground
  9. >The wind whips around in a signature pattern
  10. >There's a storm tonight
  11. >And there is a pain in my chest
  12. >Everything swirls, the wind and the pony scream
  13. >The pain in my chest flares and pulses rhythmically
  14. >Small twigs scrape against my twig
  15. >In a small puddle, I'm able to see a reflection of the monster above me
  16. >He's large, with terrible eyes
  17. >His mouth contorts into a horrible scream
  18. >I try to run, but I'm lifted into the air
  19. >Claws scratch at me and tear my flesh
  20. >Pain fills my body
  21. >I scream and cry
  22. >There's only so much pain you can take before passing out
  23. >The pain I feel goes far beyond that
  24. >The world goes dark and I slip away from the danger
  25. >Slowly, the world bleeds back in
  26. >There was a storm last
  27. >I know because I was standing outside
  28. >There are leaves strewn around the road as I walk down it
  29. >The streets are filled with whispers
  30. >Whispers from ponies
  31. >Whispers about me
  32. >The purple one approaches first
  33. > "Are you hurt? You're bleeding a lot!"
  34. >I stared at her for a moment
  35. >Those eyes were like hers
  36. >And with that, I slip away again‏
  37. >There was some screaming, but it was over quick
  38. >I dream I was there, under the tree
  39. >The yellow one
  40. >Her coat was a soaked
  41. >I saw it
  42. >I saw when she died‏
  43. >I wake up in the library
  44. >The cold floor reminds me of the dirt
  45. >Or was it the branch?
  46. >I sit up and see the nurse look at me in shock
  47. > "You startled me!" she says with a laugh
  48. > "I tried to get fluttershy but she wasn't home"
  49. >I know where she was
  50. >Lost in the woods‏
  51. >They ask me some questions and I try to answer
  52. >something was missing, I can tell it was gone...
  53. >Was it my name?
  54. >Was it my face?
  55. >No, those were hers
  56. >Buried away, where the bad things are
  57. >Lost
  58. >Lost in the woods‏
  59. >They mention fluttershy again
  60. >Was that her name
  61. >I try to speak, but start crying
  62. >They look at me worried
  63. >Why was I crying?
  64. >Oh right, the monster‏
  65. > "What's wrong?"
  66. "T-the beast. H-he...h-he k-killed her..."
  67. > "Killed her?! Something killed Fluttershy?"
  68. >The purple started to tear up
  69. >She must have been close
  70. >The nurse comforts the purple one
  71. >I feel bad
  72. >But I had to kill the beast
  73. >I promise revenge
  74. >She says it's pointless‏
  75. >I get up, drunk from the blood loss
  76. >Where was my wound?
  77. >Oh right, in my chest
  78. >I leave as she calls after me
  79. >But I know the way
  80. >She follows soon after, others in tow
  81. >Some were crying, others were fuming
  82. >And I just felt bad
  83. >The wound in my chest hurts from the walk
  84. >But I must get the beast
  85. >I must kill it first
  86. >Where was the monster?
  87. >We're moving in circles
  88. >I feel dizzy
  89. >Drunk and confused
  90. >My vision is hazy and dripping with red
  91. >There was a storm last night
  92. >The road is filled with whispers
  93. >Whispers of ponies
  94. >Whispers about me‏
  95. >We keep moving
  96. >Why do they still follow me
  97. >The woods get darker as we go
  98. >Something happened last night
  99. > "What does the thing look like?" asks one in the crowd
  100. "Large" I say coldly
  101. >They wait for more, but it's all I know
  102. >The beast had loomed over her
  103. >Fangs in it's mouth...
  104. >With blood in his eyes...
  105. >And was screaming when he ran to the woods
  106. >But the beast had seen me
  107. >The beast knows about me
  108. >He will kill me
  109. >Each step I take I know is closer to my death
  110. >My chest hurts again
  111. >Every moment from now on would be agony
  112. >Knowing about the beast
  113. >The beast would be watching
  114. >He's watching me now
  115. >My heart beats faster
  116. >My legs join it's pace
  117. >Why did it do this?
  118. >Had seeing it angered it somehow?
  119. >No
  120. >I know why
  121. > "W-why are you running?" they call from behind
  122. >The beast wants me alive
  123. >It wants to show me something
  124. >Show me my grave‏
  125. >It was agony in my chest
  126. >Why was it beating so fast
  127. >The breaths come in ragged bursts
  128. >Pain fills my heart till it's nothing but black
  129. >I start to pass out when I hear their voices
  130. > "Oh god it's blood!"
  131. > "Is it his blood? Or the monsters?"
  132. > "Oh god, what's that smell?"
  133. >Why were they here?
  134. >This isn't there grave
  135. >How dare they try to steal your grave from you‏
  136. >There was a storm last night
  137. >Leaves covered the road as thick the whispers
  138. >Whispers about me
  139. >The road was my green mile
  140. >But it would be mine
  141. > "Hey, why are you stopping?" the purple one asks
  142. >I open my mouth, but nothing comes out
  143. >Tears blur my eyes
  144. >The monster was here
  145. >I didn't even have the solace of my own grave
  146. >All of them here, I wasn't alone
  147. >Or rather, wasn't in private
  148. > "Hello? What's the... O-oh...oh my Celestia!" she shouts as she approaches
  149. >The monster was mad
  150. >His plan had been foiled
  151. >Wait, why did I...
  152. >There was a storm last night
  153. >Everyone was in there homes except me and Fluttershy
  154. >And the beast
  155. >I saw her and she saw me
  156. >But she didn't see me first, she saw the monster
  157. >The monster doesn't like to be seen
  158. >The monster wants to be left alone
  159. >And he comes out to bleed‏
  160. > "Fluttershy..." the purple tried to say
  161. >She choked on her tears
  162. >I look down at my hands
  163. >Covered in blood
  164. >There is a wound on my chest
  165. >There was a storm last night
  166. >There was a pain in my heart
  167. >And Fluttershy was dead
  168. >The beast had killed her
  169. >But she'd done something first
  170. >When the beast had grabbed her, by her soft, soft neck
  171. >She'd kicked at his chest
  172. >A branch got stuck to her hoof and ripped up the beast with each kick
  173. >The branch fell down when lightning had struck it
  174. >There was a storm last night
  175. >And only two people felt it
  176. >Not Fluttershy, who'd seen it
  177. >But the beast
  178. >And I‏
  179. >The beast started whining
  180. >He wanted to kill
  181. >He tossed me into my grave
  182. > "What did you do?!" he shouted through them
  183. > "What's wrong with you?! MONSTER!" they shouted and screamed
  184. >Not I, the monster had killed her
  185. >Why could they not see?
  186. >Why were they blaming me?
  187. >I start to cry
  188. >They hit my chest
  189. >There's a wound in my chest
  190. > "BASTARD!" she shouts
  191. >I'm so very scared
  192. >I'm not a monster
  193. >The monster's a killer, covered in red
  194. >He felt the storm, it drove him out
  195. >The monster he forced me to go out that night
  196. >Made me to watch
  197. >As Fluttershy cried and begged for life
  198. >How could I be that monster?
