2017 Plans?

As usual, it's a new year and so I have the same general goal: play 100 games. Last year I got a bit lax on the rules and included replays and whatnot so for 2017 I'm going back to being a bit more strict so here are the rules:

Goal: Play 100 new games
1. Game must be new to me, replaying games does not count towards the total, HD remasters do not count towards the total unless actual gameplay has been rebalanced or shifted (this is to say Final Fantasy 12 HD would count as it is based on Zodiac version and that is very different from normal, Resident Evil 6 PS4 would not count as nothing is different from PS3 aside from framerate/visuals)
2. It's fine if I started the game in 2016, it won't count towards the total until I finish
3. Games in a collection are counted individually ie. the upcoming Crash re-release contains 3 games (I have not played any of them) and so finishing the collection nets me 3 games
4. Minimum game length is 30 minutes, if I play a shmup and it's less than that I just have to play it again with a different character/ship to make it count

As for streaming...
I just want to stream more. Probably a lot more. I did say I was going to buy every Switch game and stream them and honestly I think that'd be really fun. Essentially take NESMania except do it as the games release rather than waiting for the complete library. Is that feasible? I don't even know. I guess we'll see just how excited I am for the lineup come Jan 12th. It could just be that I'll want to stream only the console's exclusives. We'll look into logistics later.

RE6 will get finished.

January brings us some pretty neat games. Gravity Rush 2, Dragon Quest 8, Tales of Berseria, Yakuza 0, Resident Evil 7, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8, and Digimon World: Next Order are all within like 10 days of each other and we'll see which ones I feel like streaming. The only problem is that almost all of them come out AFTER my vacation so that sucks.

Speedruns will come back more. I do a lot of practice offline but I still want to get a better time for Rusty, get a better submission vid for Tryrush Deppy (still waiting on that to show up) and route/run Keio 2. I also actually need a J Saturn for that so that'll happen soonish.

I might have to look into a new capture device. The Elgato's always been iffy but with all the new stuff I'd like to stream and 1080p60 becoming more standard, I think I'd like a better device that can do that (mine won't do 60fps above 720p except in recording).
