- This is probably the best place to start learning how to digital paint, as it can be overwhelming as hell at first. I've bought almost all his videos and I can say they've all been easily worth the money spent. Would suggest "Basic Photoshop Rendering" personally because it gets you out of the "what the hell do I start with" stage.
- The website of Sycra Yasin (make sure you check out his Resources section as well), and his Youtube channel with tons of tutorials. Nice artist, just gets a little bothersome to hear how shaky his voice is after a while.
- Feng Zhu. Well-known concept artist that has a (FUCKING) ton of instructional videos that are all really useful and interesting. I'd recommend watching as many as you can. Just leave them on in the background while you're doing something else if need be.
- >http://www.squidoo.com/Feng-Zhu *WARNING*
- A list of Feng Zhu's videos, starting from the beginning. Note the warning above, this MAY crash your browser because it loads a huge amount of embedded youtube videos. Don't work on anything important if you go to that link.
- Pirate Bay torrent link to Glenn Vilppu's instructional videos that are recommended so often here. Draw along with them, especially if you're new, and you'll improve dramatically. He's a great teacher.
- *I take no responsibility if that torrent somehow crashes/otherwise renders your computer inoperable. Really, I can't say for sure if that's a good link so read the comments and make your own decision about it.
- >Proko.com
- Stan Proko's site. He's also got some useful step-by-step tutorial videos for beginners and advanced artists alike. Youtube channel is pretty great too.

- >lovecastle.org/draw
- >quickposes.com
- >http://www.pixelovely.com/gesture/figuredrawing.php
- The four best gesture/figure drawing picture randomizers out there. Or at least the best ones I know of.
- >http://gfxdomain.com/blog/ (non-registration, multiple part downloads)
- Site that has hundreds of videos, programs, and models all aimed at artists. Registration is open at the beginning of every month. I've personally downloaded a lot from here, and it's probably the best source I've got at this point.
- The blog of James Gurney. You'll see his book Color and Light recommended plenty throughout /ic/, and the first pic I posted in this thread comes directly from it. Keep an eye on this blog and you'll learn quite a bit.
- Costume and Character design critique tumblr. They help out a lot of people and tell them what's not functional about their designs. Also tends to post a lot of tutorial pictures.
- Costume index, never really used much but keep it in the bookmarks just in case.
- Dimespin's tumblr. No clue who that is but this page is solid. I think I got this from the sticky actually?
- "Human Anatomy" searched on pinterest. Pretty decent for finding reference shots when you don't really have an aim in mind.
- Collection of really great tutorials on color and light
- >http://www.freestockphotos.biz/stockphoto/13915
- Just realized I had this to be honest. Seems pretty sweet. Free stock photos!
- Similar to gfxpeers up there (a lot of the same downloads too), but I haven't been able to find a torrent version of this one.
- Daarken's site. I've suggested this before and will continue to. Solid artist with some pretty decent "tutorial" videos. Doesn't go too far in depth but he covers a lot of ground, and he has some snazzy music playing.
- The brush section for this place is great, and it's nice to check up on every so often for good tutorials and just to see a lot of awesome work.
- Useful ref pictures

- >Just like the link says, Photo References for Comic Artists.
- Artistic Anatomy tumblr
- >http://analyticalfiguresp08.blogspot.com/
- A bunch of pictures from a figure drawing class (taught by Michael Hampton I think? Could be wrong). I'd check all of them out, they help to simplify a lot of structures.
- Kind of upset I just found this as well while going through my favorites. I don't know of a torrent version of this site, but I honestly hate downloading in like 10 parts. Just gets tedious as hell.

- More possible reference photos!
