  1. "Hurry, we'll be late for the fair!" I shouted out. "I can't run any faster!" replied Isabelle. I didn't turn around to stop though. I was too excited for The Bell Tree Fair!
  2.
  3. Isabelle, my clumsy secretary, invited me to go to The Bell Tree Fair. I said yes, obviously. Who wouldn't turn down an awesome request like that. Isabelle and I went to the front gate. The ticket guy was Lloid, the gyroid who collects bells. Isabelle and I turned in our bells and went in.
  4.
  5. "WOW!" Isabelle and I both exclaimed. In the central area of the fair, there was a huge tree everyone calls The Bell Tree. It was covered in snow and decorations were on it. It looked very colorful, which was the personality I had at the fair. Isabelle and I both split up. We made a plan to pool our tickets together to get a cool prize. I went to the Carousel of Contests.
  6.
  7. (Out of story note: This story is written on 12/2, so future contests after that date won't be shown) It looked like there were several contests to partake. I went over to the Art Contest. The one running it was a man with a cigarette in his mouth and long hair. Apparently, you need to draw a Holiday related picture to win tickets. Using the supplies Thunder, the carny running the contest, gave me, I whipped up a decorative Christmas Tree and got 3 tickets for participating. The results for all contests would be announced at the end of the fair.
  8.
  9. I then walked over to the Home and Town design contests. The woman running these two looked like a princess and was named Jennifer. Luckily, I prepped my town any home just for the fair and gave my pictures in to her. "Wow, these look awesome! Here are your six tickets," Jennifer said. I gratefully accepted them and took a glance at the other contests. There was a writing and banner-making contest. They looked like fun, but I told myself I would do them tomorrow and strolled to the Event Pavilion.
  10.
  11. In the Event Pavilion, there were several events to participate in: a gaming event, a captioning event, a photo event, a House of Mirrors event, and a cooking event. I did them all, getting tickets for participating. The only event I didn't do was the cooking event. When I got back to the central area, I asked her if she wanted to cook something up. "Sure! Meet me by my house this evening and we will whip something up!" Isabelle said cheerfully. She must have had fun, possibly even more fun than me by the looks of her face.
  12.
  13. Later that day, I went to Isabelle's house. She let me in, and her kitchen was full of ingredients. "Come in! So, what kind of recipe should we make?" Isabelle asked me. I replied," You can decide, I'll just help." She was persistent," No, you're the mayor, so you should choose!" I thought about it for a while. "Our native fruit is an apple, so I'm thinking we make ----------" I suggested. Isabelle thought it was a great idea, and we got started.
  14.
  15. "Pass me the flour and eggs!" Isabelle commanded. I followed suit, and quickly but carefully passed the food to her. Eventually, we made a perfect batch of our recipe. I went home and slept, eager to participate in tomorrow's events. I had a dream where we got first place in all events!
  16.
  17. Isabelle and I split up again, like yesterday. It was December 14, and the festival will end at midnight, with a fireworks show to end with a bang. We agreed to go the the Event Pavilion to enter our recipe. I walked over the Carousel of Contests. I took place in the Signature/Banner-making contest, getting tickets along the way. I also wrote a story for the Writing Contest. I wrote this cool story where two people go to a festival and have fun.
  18.
  19. I made my way over to the Fairgrounds, where the only thing considered fun was the Dunk Tank. I heard about this one in advance from Isabelle, "Whatever you do, DON'T LOOK AT THE DUNK TANK! There's a guy with a sock on his head, and if he catches you looking at the tank, he'll dunk you!" I made sure to cover my field of vision so I wouldn't look at him. I left the Fairgrounds, looking at my watch. It was 9 PM, so Isabelle and I met up and went to the Food Stall. We entered our recipe in with it's specialized recipe card. "Wonderful, I'll accept this tasty dish and give it to the judges!" the carny said. We each got tickets for that.
  20.
  21. "By the way, how much tickets do you have? I have 16," I asked Isabelle. She replied," I have 16 as well. So in total, we have 32 tickets." I thought about the prize we should get, and we decided to share this one game where you run a town and keep all these needy animals happy. Isabelle let me keep the game, saying that she doesn't care about prizes. We went to the central area to look at the results.
  22.
  23. The results were pinned down on a bulletin board, which everyone crowded around. Isabelle and I made our way through the crowd, and looked at the results. "Wow, I got first place in each event!" I exclaimed, high-fiving Isabelle. However, one contest result was missing - the Cooking Contest results. Jason, the announcer, said," We would like to thank everyone for coming to TBTF. You may have noticed that the Cooking Results aren't on the bulletin board. This is because the winning dish was a unanimous decision! The winner is: Josh and Isabelle's apple pie! It was delicious!" Everyone cheered for us, and we got the winning prize. We each got this cool golden trophy and a pin to show that we won!
  24.
  25. Once the results announcing was done, everyone went over to the fireworks viewing spot. Isabelle and I got front-seat spots for winning the Cooking Contest. Fireworks then went up in the air. Colorful bursts of light filled everyone's faces. We had a great time here, and everyone enjoyed the fireworks. Isabelle and I left with memories and souvenirs to show to the town. I couldn't wait!
  26. THE END
