  1. #atheismdebate Channel Rules
  2.
  3. 1.) All ops have the authority to remove trolls at their discretion. Disagreement with this decision should be brought up with the op in question in a personal message. If you still believe the op has misrepresented the channel after a mature discussion in PM, save a log containing the questionable action and send it in Pastebin form (copy and paste to pastebin.com) to the channel founder.
  4.
  5. 2.) Trolling, flaming, etc. of any sort is not tolerated in the channel. Mistreating users, ops, etc. that are present in the room is not acceptable behavior and will warrant a warning and/or removal from the channel.
  6.
  7. 3.) Atheism debate and discussion is a main point of the chat in #atheismdebate, but free range of discourse is allowed and should be encouraged.
  8.
  9. 4.) Discussion should pertain to relevant activities in the chat. Obscene discussion or 'shock-value' trolling is not needed. That being said, this is an adult channel and free use of language is acceptable so long as it does not violate the other rules.
  10.
  11. 5.) 'Preaching' a religion is not allowed in any way, shape or form. Discussion of religion is encouraged in #atheismdebate but flooding the chat with holy book quotes or condemning others for their beliefs is not acceptable for discussion. Debate beliefs, not people FOR their beliefs. This rule is open to op interpretation, and if you believe an op is acting out of turn, use the steps lined out in Rule #1 above.
  12.
  13. 6.) Any 'meta-chat' (that is, discussion involving channel matters as opposed to the current topic of discussion) should be proposed in #atheismdebate and, if an op or the founder deems it acceptable there, will continue in-channel. If not, please PM the op in question to discuss the matter there. Remember, no means no, so if your suggestion or complaint is not deemed worthy of action it should not be brought up again or used to bother an op repeatedly in PM. PM the founder if you believe the issue is worth a second look.
