How to not record shit music

Step 1: Get https://www.vb-audio.com/Cable/ (or just google VB audio cable if you're scared of muh infection)
Step 2: In playback devices, set "CABLE Input" as default.
Step 3: In recording devices, set your mic as standard for communication, and "CABLE Output" as standard.
Step 4: Rightclick CABLE Output and go into settings, go to the listen tab, check "Listen to this unit" and set "Playback with this unit" directly to your headphones/speakers.
Step 5: In OBS, set your Desktop Audio Device to "CABLE Input"
Step 6: In your music player/Skype/anything that lets you manually select where it plays back, set it directly to your headphones/speakers. They will now be inaudible on stream.
Step 6b: Alternatively, use https://github.com/audiorouterdev/audio-router to move programs around to different devices.
