  2. [2012-09-16 03:01:51] <AMARDA_GM> When last we left our heroes they were sailing on a boat down a river to what they hoped to be a safe house. On the way Haywire and Shade got a look at a memory orb that could only be described as wrong. Poor them.

  7. [2012-09-16 03:07:44] <AMARDA_GM> On the rivers bank you see an old road meant for carriages during wartime Equestria. The road is overgrown and cracked, with no signs of recent use.
  8. [2012-09-16 03:12:01] <AMARDA_GM> Ap ahead, the remains of a bridge can be seen clearly. It looks to be a suitable dock for the boat if needs be.
  9. [2012-09-16 03:13:29] <Grand_Finale> Grand Slumps against the boats controlls, very much still a sleepy pony. Lazily Grand calls out over the deck to anypony that can hear him, "Stop the boat, yes or no? Also, anypony seen Shade, I want to know how close we are"

  11. [2012-09-16 03:13:59] * Shade trots out of the cabin.
  12. [2012-09-16 03:15:36] * Grand_Finale spins the rudder around and pulls the boat up to the sunken bridge, cutting the engine and letting the mid sized ship glide up to dock. "Throw the lines somepony. All ashore whos going ashore!"
  13. [2012-09-16 03:18:32] * Shade casts the lines since nopony else is in a hurry to do so.
  14. [2012-09-16 03:19:29] * Grand_Finale rings the ships bell, allerting the ponies on board. "Thank you choosing the Leaky Dutchess, we know you have absolutely no other choice in your post apocalyptic escape routs but still thank you for choosing us just the same"
  15. [2012-09-16 03:19:53] * Midnight_Rain flies back to the ship on her cloud
  16. [2012-09-16 03:22:09] * Grand_Finale trots down to the main deck and to the nearest portion where it is tied off to the bridge. Looking at the lines Grand looks up to shade with a tired smile, "Thanks Spec, so I take it we are close?"
  17. [2012-09-16 03:22:55] * Haywire ponders, trotting up to Shade scratching under his muzzle. "This safehouse... where did you learn about it again?"
  18. [2012-09-16 03:23:06] <AMARDA_GM> On the bridge is an overturned carriage. on the side read "ulan" anything else is faded.
  19. [2012-09-16 03:23:27] * Shade snorts and trots over to nuzzle Grand_Finale "And you were a wonderful and gracious captain." She nods "Follow this path. Rain, you're with me. We're scouting ahead."

  21. [2012-09-16 03:25:44] * Grand_Finale nods, "A pleasure as always to ferry my friends from ferocious fiends!"

  23. [2012-09-16 03:26:43] * Midnight_Rain is floating on her cloud fort "Hey Shade."
  24. [2012-09-16 03:27:40] <Shade> "Hey Rainy. We're heading out in front of the main group to scout the place since we're the only two fit with scopes
  25. [2012-09-16 03:27:54] * Grand_Finale leaps off the side of the boat onto the bridge, calling out behind him, "Coming Leaf?"
  26. [2012-09-16 03:29:51] <Midnight_Rain> "Right hop on so we don't have to fly to much"
  27. [2012-09-16 03:30:02] * Shade nods and lands on the cloud
  28. [2012-09-16 03:30:10] * Dusk_Beam quickly gathers all her stuff and follows Grand_Finale off the ship.
  29. [2012-09-16 03:31:13] * Grand_Finale looks to Dusk Beam, "How are you feeling Dusk?"
  30. [2012-09-16 03:31:49] * Midnight_Rain grabs her Sniper and forms the cloud into a normal looking one and gives a push with her wings to start it off floating "So what was in that thing?"
  31. [2012-09-16 03:32:01] * Haywire nods, packing up his stuff. He hops out of the boat. He turns to Dusk_Beam. "We should resume monitoring Shade's condition once she is in a secure location. She shouldn't be the one to go out scouting, though. She is the main target."
  32. [2012-09-16 03:33:35] * Dusk_Beam shrugs. "For a mare who have been soaking rads for almost a day only to get them violently thrown out of my body.. I feel pretty well." She turns to Haywire. "I.. Don't think we can stop her, but.. You're right. Once we are at this safehouse, then we can.. Check up on her again."
  33. [2012-09-16 03:34:59] <Shade> "A queen...just like me." She shudders "Being tortured. drugged. probably raped. experimented on. Exactly what the enclave would do if they got their hooves on me alive."
  34. [2012-09-16 03:35:05] * Grand_Finale rubs his temples, closing his eyes. "I should have thought of that before she flew off... Luna Im tired from stearing the boat for, however long its been".
  35. [2012-09-16 03:35:46] <Midnight_Rain> "Was it the enclave?"
  36. [2012-09-16 03:36:57] * Grand_Finale shakes his head and starts to trot off after the cloud, "Well Im glad your better Dusk, If you need it I have one last dose for radiation, I gave the other one to Wire"
  37. [2012-09-16 03:37:02] <Shade> "No. No pegasi that I saw. They were making pony changeling hybrids. Ponies, zebra, changelings...just...mixed together."
  38. [2012-09-16 03:38:47] * Dusk_Beam is still pretty radded up. She shakes her head. "We should save that, for emergencies. Thanks though, Grand." She falls in line next to Grand_Finale, keeping glancing over her shoulder.
  39. [2012-09-16 03:39:55] <Haywire> "That reminds me." He back to the river with one pack of RadGone.
  40. [2012-09-16 03:41:00] * Grand_Finale eyes the carrage, he was going to save it for later but Wire would be pukeing for a little while...
  41. [2012-09-16 03:41:30] * Grand_Finale trots over to it, "Hey Dusk, watch my back while I give this thing a once over"
  42. [2012-09-16 03:41:31] * Midnight_Rain is looking through her scope looking for anything that shouldn't be "Any symbols?"
  43. [2012-09-16 03:42:30] * Dusk_Beam nods. "Alright.. Lets not take too long though." Following Grand back to the carriage.
  44. [2012-09-16 03:43:13] * Shade pulls out her infiltrator and sights down the scope at the building (AMARDA's time to give a description!)
  45. [2012-09-16 03:43:16] * Haywire feels his inside churn after having ingested the RadGone.
  46. [2012-09-16 03:44:15] * Grand_Finale nods as he climbs into the back, "Will make it as fast as possible Dusk, I want to push on as much as anypony"
  47. [2012-09-16 03:44:30] <AMARDA_GM> Inside the carriage, their appears to be some medical tools, a dead pony and several machines that appear to be auto healing devices.
  48. [2012-09-16 03:45:52] * Grand_Finale brow pops up. "What the hay? ...Say Dusk, your the medic. Come get an eye full of this junk and tell me what Im looking at"
  49. [2012-09-16 03:48:21] <AMARDA_GM> after thirty minutes of flying, Shade and Midnight_Rain both encounter a building. It is a two story affair, with a sign saying "Madame Sweets house of flank." Next to it is a small concrete building and what appears to be a carriage of better condition than the one on the bridge.
  50. [2012-09-16 03:48:43] * Dusk_Beam "Oh, what did you find?" She flies over to Grand to take a peek inside. "Oh my.. This, could, prove to be usefull." She examines the tools and machines closer. "Do you mind.. Checking that body?"
  51. [2012-09-16 03:49:23] <Shade> "...definitely the place. Changelings. Perfect whores." She smirks and nudges Midnight_Rain. She scans for movement through her scope thoroughly
  52. [2012-09-16 03:49:28] * Grand_Finale nods, "Not sure what good it will do but alright then". Grand tip hooves over to the body and gives it a look over.
  53. [2012-09-16 03:50:46] * Dusk_Beam obviously meant, loot the body.
  54. [2012-09-16 03:51:00] <AMARDA_GM> The machine is the full unit, perfect for stabilizing a pony or zebra. It appears to be an earlier model then what Dusk_Beam is used to working with above the clouds, but seems like a good bit of kit.
  55. [2012-09-16 03:51:00] * Haywire spews a flow of rainbow sludge, looking down, spitting. He looks fascinated as the sludge flows downstream. "Ugh... on a second thought... maybe I should have saved some to analyze it." He turns back. "Dusk? Grand?"
  56. [2012-09-16 03:51:47] * Midnight_Rain nudges back Shade "I really hope we get some time after this for some fun." and she keeps looking around even above them
  57. [2012-09-16 03:52:16] * Shade frowns "Maybe move a little that way to get a better look through the windows?"
  58. [2012-09-16 03:52:18] <AMARDA_GM> The body is of a Pegasus, it looks female and one wing appears dislocated.
  59. [2012-09-16 03:52:25] * Grand_Finale Grands rear end is of course sticking out the back of the wrecked carrage
  60. [2012-09-16 03:54:18] <AMARDA_GM> The building, the house looks undisturbed. As does the other two buildings near by. The small set of shops all appear to be high class looking places.
  61. [2012-09-16 03:54:20] <Haywire> "There he is." He trots up to them. "Is there anything useful?"
  62. [2012-09-16 03:55:23] * Dusk_Beam "Machines, a stabilization unit to be exact. Old, but intact." She continues to rummage about, perhaps there where other medicine in here.
  63. [2012-09-16 03:55:35] * Grand_Finale turns around and unseramoniously tosses a dead pegusus out the back of the carrage, "You will have to ask Dusk but I think its derilict old world medical shit. She seems pretty optimistic"
  64. [2012-09-16 03:56:39] * Haywire takes a look at the machine.
  65. [2012-09-16 03:57:27] <AMARDA_GM> Grand_Finale bumps his head on a part of the wall. His head seems to open a secret compartment, a loud thud as a box hits him on the head.
  66. [2012-09-16 03:57:40] * Dusk_Beam snorts. "It is not.. Shit, this could prove to be quite valuable acctually."
  67. [2012-09-16 03:58:18] <AMARDA_GM> The machine is in a bad way, it looks like the gears inside need to be fixed up and that more than one of the crystals inside of it a fried.
  68. [2012-09-16 03:58:22] * Grand_Finale eyes spin as he falls out the back of the carrage with the box

  70. [2012-09-16 03:59:36] * Haywire turns back to Dusk. "Not quite intact, but I think I can fix it with the right parts. I wouldn't advise putting it to use now."
  71. [2012-09-16 04:00:00] * Midnight_Rain flies the cloud closer "We should be careful Shade."
  72. [2012-09-16 04:00:14] * Dusk_Beam snickers at Grand. "Im sure.." She keeps eyeing the machines curiously. They where old, but with enought time with them she was pretty sure she could operate them. "No, now is not the right time. But we should mark this location for later, dont you think?"

  74. [2012-09-16 04:01:00] * Shade keeps looking through her scope, scanning the windows for the flicker of anything inside
  75. [2012-09-16 04:01:02] * Grand_Finale rolls over, grummbling as he brushes off a new layer of dirt and grime before opening the new found box
  76. [2012-09-16 04:01:10] * Grand_Finale "Come on, show me the good stuff!"
  77. [2012-09-16 04:02:30] * Midnight_Rain has her Sniper ready scanning and listening to everything
  78. [2012-09-16 04:02:52] * Dusk_Beam curiously eyes the opening of THE box.
  79. [2012-09-16 04:03:39] * Haywire frowns. "We should at least try to drag the carriage out of sight. Otherwise there may be nothing to retrieve when we are back."
  80. [2012-09-16 04:03:47] * Grand_Finale bits and chews at the surprisingly stubborn box, "Oh come on, dont flaunt if if your not going to give it up box!"
  81. [2012-09-16 04:03:48] <AMARDA_GM> Inside is a Tranq Gun and several syringes that look kind of nasty. They're glowing with some sort of liquid.
  82. [2012-09-16 04:04:33] * Grand_Finale "Gotcha!....ummm", Grand hold the box up to Dusk and Wire, "Anypony mind telling me what I got?"
  83. [2012-09-16 04:04:43] <Grand_Finale> *holds
  84. [2012-09-16 04:05:48] * Dusk_Beam "Ohhh, now that looks interessting.."
  85. [2012-09-16 04:05:51] <AMARDA_GM> Up the top, both Shade and Midnight_Rain see a small entrance. It appears to be for fliers only. It was once hidden behind something, but it is now revealed to them.
  86. [2012-09-16 04:06:28] <AMARDA_GM> The windows show nothing, they inside looks dark and empty.
  87. [2012-09-16 04:06:34] * Midnight_Rain flies to it "Shade I'll move in first Cover my six."
  88. [2012-09-16 04:07:26] * Grand_Finale smiles, "So its good then Dusk? I have a general Idea of what it is but I have never seen one this nice before, no surgical tubeing or anything!"
  89. [2012-09-16 04:07:56] <Shade> "Are you sure? Maybe we should wait for the others."
  90. [2012-09-16 04:08:36] * Haywire scratches his muzzle. "Tranquilizers? I wonder if those creatures are succeptible to it."
  91. [2012-09-16 04:08:58] * Midnight_Rain looks in the entrance "If it's a trap we all will get hit i'll head in follow after 15 seconds."

  93. [2012-09-16 04:09:26] * Dusk_Beam gets into a coughing atack for a couple of seconds. "Why it is a Tranq Gun, well.. It probebly provide healing aswell, provided the right tinkering and liquid in the syringes.." She looks it over as she speaks. "Or, just use it what is it made for.. Yeah."
  94. [2012-09-16 04:09:34] * Grand_Finale Closes the box and slides it into his saddle bags, "In any case lets load this junk onto the boat and press on, shall we?"
  95. [2012-09-16 04:09:49] * Shade sighs and nods her acknowledge me "I'm just going on record stating I loathe this plan and would prefer I went first. Maybe they'll leave you alone if they have me..."
  96. [2012-09-16 04:12:26] * Midnight_Rain gets ready and starts to go down "Not a plan Shade i won't let them have you for what ever they want."
  97. [2012-09-16 04:13:24] * Haywire nods. "I don't see why not." He glances back at the syringes. "I wonder what is that..."
  98. [2012-09-16 04:13:37] * Shade growls and starts counting
  99. [2012-09-16 04:13:47] * Dusk_Beam coughs again. "Yeah, lets get this thing to the boat.. "
  100. [2012-09-16 04:14:13] <AMARDA_GM> The door opens with a hiss, before a cloud of green gas envelops Midnight_Rain. Her body goes numb and she hilariously plants her face head first into an open bowl of something.
  101. [2012-09-16 04:15:00] * Grand_Finale wistles as he works loading the loot onto his ship, wondering how long it will be till he finaly arrived at the safe house.
  102. [2012-09-16 04:15:23] * Haywire nods, moving to carry the machine. "Do you feel any worse, Dusk?"
  103. [2012-09-16 04:16:04] * Shade facehoofs "Now you fucking tell me." She sighs "Paralysis gas! Sorry, Rainy, they just told me."
  104. [2012-09-16 04:16:19] <AMARDA_GM> Midnight_Rain begins to feel strange, her body almost light as a feather.
  105. [2012-09-16 04:16:38] * Shade drops down and moves over to Rainy
  106. [2012-09-16 04:17:12] * Midnight_Rain is numb not being able to speak or move she is stuck
  107. [2012-09-16 04:17:15] <AMARDA_GM> Midnight_Rain, stiff as a statue rolls over on her side and lays on the ground, limbs all locked in mid motion.
  108. [2012-09-16 04:17:54] * Shade grumbles to herself "I think they did that on purpose. Locked in a megaspell for a few hundred years you'd do shit like that to get your kicks too."
  109. [2012-09-16 04:19:15] * Dusk_Beam shakes her head to Haywires question. "No.. But I do not feel much better either." She tries to force a smile.

  111. [2012-09-16 04:20:12] * Shade sighs "Sorry rainy. Just wait a few moments. She tries to drag the stiff mare into a corner and sits down holding her infiltrator, covering the hallway
  112. [2012-09-16 04:21:00] * Haywire frowns. "If nothing goes wrong, we should be able to take care of that soon."
  113. [2012-09-16 04:21:54] <Shade> "...You're not even going to remember this. Ugh."
  114. [2012-09-16 04:24:09] <AMARDA_GM> Time passes as you regroup. A half hour flight for Midnight and Shade is easily an hours swift trot to any not flying. The ground not being easy to traverse doesn't help matters.
  115. [2012-09-16 04:24:23] * Grand_Finale trots toward the end of the road, pausing a moment wistel in appreciation as he sees the buildings before him. "Wow, Shade really knows how to pick her safe houses. I bet back in the day this was a great place to bunker down for the night!"

  117. [2012-09-16 04:26:31] <Shade> "Here." Shade and Rain are just inside the main doors.

  120. [2012-09-16 04:27:14] * Grand_Finale spots Shade, "So hows it looking up here? We found a flank load o-... what, why?"
  121. [2012-09-16 04:27:59] * Dusk_Beam enters the building after raising at a eyebrow at its name. Spotting Midnight as she stops in her tracks "Oh my.. Is she alright?"
  122. [2012-09-16 04:28:09] * Shade grimaces "Paralysis gas. Only lasts a few minutes and gives you short term memory loss. Only effects non-changelings. It's the security system here."
  123. [2012-09-16 04:29:04] * Dusk_Beam sighs. "So much for a safehouse.. "
  124. [2012-09-16 04:29:21] * Shade shrugs "Just means I go first."
  125. [2012-09-16 04:29:22] * Haywire scowls. "...if our pursuers are hybrids, it may not work on them either." He scans the area.
  126. [2012-09-16 04:29:42] * Shade nods slowly "They don't know."
  127. [2012-09-16 04:30:00] <Shade> "They know nothing more about the hybrids than I."
  128. [2012-09-16 04:30:11] * Grand_Finale pokes his head inside as far as he dares, "Maybe we should try and bring some of that with us when we leave, could come in hoofy"

  133. [2012-09-16 04:33:37] * Midnight_Rain looks around dazed "Huh what? Dancing Luna?"
  134. [2012-09-16 04:33:58] <Shade> Sounds fascinating
  135. [2012-09-16 04:34:04] * Dusk_Beam gives Midnight a worried look.
  136. [2012-09-16 04:34:25] * Grand_Finale trots in place, "So how long is this going to take, I want to find a bed and get some sleep!"

  138. [2012-09-16 04:36:55] * Midnight_Rain tries to stand up slowly trying not to fall over "Ugh my head how did i get here?"
  139. [2012-09-16 04:37:02] <Dusk_Beam> "Where do we go from here, Shade?" She look around in the building.
  140. [2012-09-16 04:37:39] * Shade looks like she's in the middle of another argument from the look on her face
  141. [2012-09-16 04:39:03] <Shade> "No I will not take them to the dungeon, damn i-...I just said that out loud." She groans "Follow me. I know where the weapons and medical supplies are." She looks irritated.
  142. [2012-09-16 04:40:50] * Shade stalks off, taking point.
  143. [2012-09-16 04:40:59] * Dusk_Beam trots up alongside Shade. "You are still fighting them, right?" She looks worried.
  144. [2012-09-16 04:41:15] <Haywire> "Dungeon? Them?" He raises an eyebrow at Shade, looking back at Dusk. "Were there any psychological changes I haven't been made aware of?"
  145. [2012-09-16 04:41:30] * Grand_Finale glances left and right at his other companions, searching for an answer to Shades odd behavior as he follows her
  146. [2012-09-16 04:41:44] * Midnight_Rain leans to the side trying to remember what happen but following anyway "Ugh worst nap ever."

  148. [2012-09-16 04:41:53] <AMARDA_GM> Inside, you see advertisements for exotic Zebra sex toys, Griffon pleasure devices and pony made things. It's all really quite blatant. Once in the concrete building though, you find a simple generator, a terminal and a tool cabinet.

  152. [2012-09-16 04:43:37] * Grand_Finale "Shade, whats going on wit-.... oh my", Grand wonders off a bit to look at the advertisments for zebra sex toys. Staring at the posters Grand continues to talk, "with you, whats going on Shade? There is something your not telling us".

  154. [2012-09-16 04:44:37] * Dusk_Beam blushes slightly as she moves past the advertisments. Flicking her tail back and forth he fidgets nervously, looking back at Haywire And Grand "She is fine, it dosn't controll her."
  155. [2012-09-16 04:45:20] * Shade looks at Grand "Wanna visit a sex dungeon. Because I'm going there and sampling every damn thing inside until they shut up for 5 fucking seconds it's like a cacophony of nagging family members asking you why you don't have 700 children yet"

  161. [2012-09-16 04:47:43] * Haywire shakes his head. "It does seem to be affecting her." He scratches his muzzle. "So it is a method of ensuring reproduction? Makes sense." He pops out of his thoughts. "I see. I'll have a look into it."

  163. [2012-09-16 04:47:59] * Grand_Finale shrugs, "Fine, rest and supplies first, then fun. But your going to tell me more about whats going on with you after I get some sleep"

  165. [2012-09-16 04:49:12] <AMARDA_GM> The terminal lights up. The screen displays some text. "What was the ninth directive?" is all it displays.
  166. [2012-09-16 04:49:35] <Dusk_Beam> "See.. it dosn't controll her." She says again, casting a glance at one of the advertising posters and her face turns red.
