Nightmare Moon 2

Her scream was deafening in its silence.
The hate boiled inside her, desperate for release.
But here, there was nothing on which to take out her anger.
No-one to curse. Not even a single object to destroy.
There was only one thing, here on the moon: Her.
That is all there was.

At home, the night was so beautiful.
Glittering stars and the pale moonlight shining down on a ghostly landscape.
Here, the night was dead. There was only black.
She couldn't see.
Only when the sun shone could she perceive the extremity of her solitude.

As the days went on, one thing began to slowly overshadow the hatred of her sister:
The certain knowledge that she was going to lose her sanity.
