  1. >You’re left alone to your thoughts.
  2. >And it hurts.
  3. >You’re going to be bound to this prison for the rest of your life, because you insulted a princess.
  4. >You must have terrible luck.
  5. >”Anonymous~!” A familiar voice startles you from behind, and puts a paw on your shoulder.
  6. “Discord?”
  7. >”You guessed right!”
  8. “I’m kind of tired. I’m going to take a nap.”
  9. >It’s an excuse, obviously. You’re up to your ears in frustrating thoughts.
  10. >”Anon~! You just had breakfast. How can you be still tired?”
  11. >His curiosity is annoying you at this point.
  12. >”Discord, I appreciate the concern, but I want to be left alone right now.”
  13. >You walk off toward your room without giving him so much as a glance.
  14. >That must have worked, since you don’t hear him following behind you.
  15.
  16. >You’re now at your room, with a revelation looming over you.
  17. >You fall with your back on the hay, and stare at the jagged stone ceiling.
  18. >”Anon? Is something the matter?” Says a concerned pony who arrives next to you.
  19. “I… don’t want to talk about it.”
  20. >”Anonymous. It’s not healthy to keep in your feelings.”
  21. >You can’t hold it in any longer.
  22. >Tears are released, and you hide your face with an arm.
  23. “This is it… This is the place I’ll live and die in.”
  24. >She collapses onto your chest with an embrace.
  25. >”Anon, I understand. Nearly everyone here understands what your are going through.”
  26. >You can’t stop the tears, no matter how much you hold them back.
  27. “Do they?! Do they understand that they’ll never get to see their family ever again? Do they know they’ll never see another of their kind once more?”
  28. >”...Anon, I do.”
  29. “You do…?”
  30.
  31. >She looks deeply in your eyes with a single tear streaming down her lovely, soft cheek.
  32. >”Yes. I’m the last of my race. The others died out, because they couldn’t keep their ability in check in order to conceive.”
  33. >You wipe away your tears and hold her gently.
  34. “You mean how you consume life-force through intercourse, right?”
  35. >”Yes. How we reproduce is that we have to find a partner that’s immune to our life-consumption, but such a thing has been a struggle over millennia.”
  36. “Wait… does that mean...”
  37. >”Yeah… I was mating stallions, trying to find one immune to my accursed bloodline. But I was caught and Celestia banished me here as a result of the deaths of many.”
  38. “That Celestia… Instead of saving you, she sent you to die! I’ll never forgive her!”
  39. >”Anon? It’s alright… I… I deserved it. Nopony deserves to die…”
  40. “She didn’t spare you. From what you told me of Celestia, she should have the power to save you from your curse. But she chose the easy, unjust way out.”
  41. >”There’s nothing that can be done now...”
  42. “Maybe there is.”
  43.
  44. >You’re hugging Anon, so you must be Ebola Lovestruck.
  45. >Anon’s saying some pretty crazy things, but you can’t help but falling him more and more as you get to know him.
  46. >He said he wants to save your race, and he’s shaken the resolve you’ve had as the last survivor.
  47. “Anon, I… what can we do?”
  48. >”We’re going to break out of here.”
  49. “WHAT?!”
  50. >You jump up off him in surprise.
  51. “T-that’s impossible! Nobody’s ever made it out of here! And nobody has the power to do so!”
  52. >”What do you mean?”
  53. “Everypony in Tartarus has their magic nullified by the crystals. And they’re everywhere, in the walls, and especially at the entrance.”
  54. >”Wouldn’t the guards be the same?”
  55. “The guards are protected by a crystal on their armor that does the opposite effect. The cave crystals make them /stronger/.”
  56. >”Yikes, it sounds like we can’t win by ourselves.”
  57. “Anon… that’s not reassuring.”
  58. >He gets up in epiphany.
  59. >”I’ve got it!”
  60. >”I’ll recruit Discord. He can still use magic.”
  61. “Anon, his magic can only do basic things. He’s no better than a low-level unicorn. And there’s at least 10 guards at the entrance. We’ll easily get overpowered.”
  62. >Anon looks like he’s thinking hard.
  63. >But you know it’s futile.
  64. “Anon, I appreciate this, I really do. But it’s impossible, okay?”
  65.
  66. >She tells you that it’s impossible. But you’re Anon, and you don’t back down from a challenge.
  67. “Guess what, Love. I have the perfect solution.”
  68. >She blushes and stutters and your sudden use of an amorous nickname, but you don’t left her finish.
  69. “I’m going to befriend everyone I can. And we’ll escape somewhere in Equestria together.”
  70. >She appears to want to retort, but you have a pretty solid idea. A grand idea.
  71. >You can win with strength in numbers, and you’re a boxer. You’ve never needed magic.
  72. >On top of that, I’m sure you are not the only one that wants to leave this dark hole in the ground.
  73. >”Anon, that’s… the most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard.”
  74. “W-well, do you have a better idea?”
  75. >”Um… no.”
  76. “Then it’s ON! Hellyeah! Time for lunch!”
  77. >You are confident you can get out of here.
  78. >And you’re confident there’s going to be a delicious lunch waiting for you.
  79. “C’mon, Love! You’re coming with me!”
  80. >You pick her up and put her on your shoulders and dart out the door.
  81. >You’re amused at the shocked look on both her and the guard as you pass him by.
  82.
  83. >You put her down just before you enter the dining area, you don’t want to draw unnecessary attention from the other inmates.
  84. >”Anon! Why’d you do that!” She’s redder than pink.
  85. “Sorry, sorry. I got caught up in the moment. Shall we?”
  86. >You open the door and enter with your partner-in-crime.
  87. >”Anonymous! Are you feeling better? You were so fussy earlier~” A certain dragonequus jabs.
  88. “I’m great now. I definitely needed that nap.”
  89. >You wink suggestively at Lovestruck.
  90. >She chuckles quietly and plays along.
  91. >”Discord, what’s on the menu?”
  92. >”Vegetarian cold-cuts, your favorite!”
  93. >Man, with all this vegetarian food, you couldn’t be healthier by the time you get out of here.
  94. >Discord is donning a white chef coat and black leggings.
  95. >He sure likes dressing for the occasion.
  96. >”I sure do, Anonymous.” Says a smirking Discord.
  97. “Err… what?”
  98. >”Nothing!”
  99. >He brings you sandwiches and fries on a silver platter.
  100. >He’s going a little further than usual today.
  101. >You can’t help but think he’s doing this to cheer you up.
  102. >”Thanks Discord.” You tell him just before he moves to the other tables.
  103. >You notice it’s actually pretty busy in here during lunch-time, but you were too absorbed with how passionate you are feeling to notice until now.
  104. >”You’re definitely looking better now, disregarding that embarrassing stunt.”
  105. “I am actually. I’m going to make the best of the time that I’m here.”
  106. >”I’m glad to hear that. What do you want to do after we eat, Anon?”
  107. “Not sure what there is to do except go to the library.”
  108. >”Boring! Let’s go to the game room. I want to play “9 Stone Rumble” with you.”
  109. “Not sure what those two things are, but it sounds like it could be fun. You’re on, Love.”
  110.
  111. >You’re already pink, but you’re blushing and you can’t help it.
  112. >You’re no doubt Ebola Lovestruck.
  113. >Everytime he calls you by that nickname, even casually, you feel yourself getting wet for him.
  114. >And you really hope you can compose yourself before Anon, or Celestia forbid… Discord finds a wet seat covered in your love juices.
  115. >You hurriedly go through your sandwich, and Anon somehow has already finished before you.
  116. >Must be that big mouth and tongue of his.
  117. >U-unf…
  118. >You get up from the chair quickly before you go into heat.
  119. “Hey Anon, let’s go. I can’t wait!”
  120. >”You’re sure raring to go. Alright then.”
  121. >He waves at Discord, and Discord responds in kind before the two of you make your exit.
  122. “Anon, this way!”
  123. >You point down the right side of the hall. He follows you obediently.
  124. >And you both make it to the end, where the Great Chamber lies. No matter how many times you see it, it still captivates you.
  125.
  126. “Whoa!”
  127. >You’re a fascinated human behind a smiling pink succubus pony.
  128. >And in front of you lies a great, open area, teeming with blue-green crystals. A waterfall, and a golden lit, circular area covered with beautiful flora lies beyond a stone bridge on the curving path.
  129. >You proceed along the path, taking note of the pleasant ambience of the brook that lies below, and the quietly overlapping voices of different ponies and other creatures in the area filled with flowers, small trees, and moss.
  130. >Rays of sunlight beam into this area, lighting it like an underground oasis.
  131. >You don’t even have words to describe how fascinated you are with this scene.
  132. >”Pretty amazing huh? It’s called the Great Chamber. It’s a recreation area.”
  133. “I’ve never seen anything like it in my entire life. It’s fantastic.”
  134. >You both arrive at the stone and walk across. To the rear is a wide tunnel, but you don’t even care.
  135. >There appears to be a little house straight past the open area, covered in grass and soft earth. And at the edge of circular flat are vines of blue orchids.
  136. >There are thin, white-barked trees shaped like brushes that contain light blue leaves and pink flowers. They are scattered about the grassy flat.
  137. >You are so absorbed into the mystical scenery that the living creatures within it are invisible to you.
  138. >”Anon, you’ve stopped walking.”
  139. “Oh, sorry Lovestruck. These plants don’t exist in my world. I was just so captivated.”
  140. >”No problem. We’re headed to that house. They have the games and game tables in there.”
  141. “Ah, that white house did seem out of place. When you simply said ‘game room’ I could not have ever expected this.”
  142. >”The house was originally a secret hideaway for Starswirl the Bearded whenever he was stressed out. He made it so the plants bloom all year around.”
  143. “Starswirl the Bearded?”
  144. >”He’s the most renowned sorcerer of Equestria. A wise, all-powerful wizard. There is a portrait of him above the mantle of the house.”
  145. “Awesome. It makes me a little jealous I have no magical ability.”
  146. >”Don’t sweat it anon. Hey, we’re here.”
  147. >You reach the large-double doors of the house. It’s a lot bigger up close.
  148. “Great. Ready to head in?”
  149.
  150. >You walk in to see 2 ponies chatting at one table over checkers, 3 griffons playing what is presumably poker...
  151. >And the little dragon and the blue minotaur you’ve seen together at least three times now. They’re playing chess.
  152. >You’re curious about something, so you walk over to them, your succubus companion following you with interest.
  153. >At closer appearances, the dragon is red with a yellow crest and a sharp demeanor. The minotaur is a different size than the other ones you’ve seen. Looks more like a bull.
  154. >They’re playing Chess with an intricately designed set. All the ponies are detailed to appear like actual knights and such.
  155. >”What the heck do you want?” the dragon asks in a rude tone.
  156. >You want to befriend them if possible, since they look tough. They don’t look like they’re good at Chess though.
  157. “Sorry if I’m interrupting. I’m completely out of touch with reality and I wanted to ask you something.”
  158. >”Out of touch with reality? What a weirdo. What exactly are ya, anyway?” Says the blue dude.
  159. >”He’s a human. Not from this country.” Lovestruck pops in.
  160. >”Ebola! It’s been a while. How are things?” Says the dragon.
  161. >”Just wonderful. This here is my new cellmate.”
  162. >Both creatures in front of you eye you up and down.
  163. >”Yer like nothing Iron Will has ever seen! What are you, an alien or something?”
  164. >Did he just refer to himself in the third person?
  165. “Hehehe, something like that.”
  166. >They both shrug, and the dragon takes his move. It’s a terrible move, he’s going to lose his rook.
  167. “I hope you don’t take offense to this question, but are dragons normally your size?”
  168.
  169. >He looks visibly agitated, but he appears to hold in his anger with your question.
  170. “Our species varies in size. The larger ones are more powerful and tough, the smaller ones are faster and smarter. I’ve heard our newest dragonlordess is shorter than even I am.”
  171. >Dragons have a heirarchy? That’s interesting to know.
  172. >Wait… Shorter than than this guy? Whoa.
  173. >”Perhaps I should introduce these two.” Love cuts in.
  174. >”This is Iron Will the Minotaur and Garble the Dragon. They’re good friends.”
  175. >Both of them look like they want to interject, but they don’t. They both must be quite prideful.
  176. “Hey Love, I’m going to go grab a table. Nice talking to you, gents.”
  177. >You walk off and sit down at a table near a window, since you want to look at the scenery some more.
  178. >But first you look around at the room as you wait.
  179. >There is a mint-colored pony with a white mane and a white-pony with a blonde mane playing checkers.
  180. >Wait a minute… It’s that a swastika on her flank? Whoa, you didn’t know there were Nazis in horseland too.
  181. >You also glance at the portrait that Lovestruck was talking about. Starswirl looks pretty grumpy, but his hat is kinda cool.
  182.
  183. >Ebola trots to the table with a board in her mouth a bag of stones on her tail.
  184. >She sets in down in front of you and you realize that it’s a 9 Men’s Morris board.
  185. >You just so happen to know how to play, even though nobody else you knew did.
  186. >She whispers to you. “Please don’t call me ‘Love’ in front of the others, it’s really embarrassing.”
  187. “Sorry, I should have been more careful. You don’t mind me calling you that, do you?”
  188. >”N-not at all!”
  189. >She sits down with an obviously red face. And tries to calm down.
  190. >And you listen to her reiterate the rules. You want to be sure the rules are the same. Which they are.
  191. “Shall we get started?”
  192. >”You ready? Yay! Let’s play.” She gives a sweet smile.
  193. “To start, we should determine who goes first.”
  194. >You pick up a stone in your hands, and feign placing it in your right hand.
  195. “Which hand is the stone in, correct guess means you go first.
  196. >”Left.”
  197. >She’s sharp.
  198. >We each take turns places our stones on the simple looking board with the flat stone pieces.
  199. >She has a great startup going, so she must be an experienced player.
  200. >Now, the pieces are set, and the game really begins.
  201. “How about a wager?”
  202.
  203. >”Hmm…? Sure, let’s hear it.” She smirks confidently.
  204. “If I win, you have to listen to one favor. But you won’t hear it until we get back to the cell. If you win, you get to do the same.”
  205. >”Fair enough, I like the sound of that.”
  206. >You’re confident you can win. And even if you lost, you wouldn't suffer.
  207. >She makes the first move. Then you take her piece.
  208. >She takes yours in retaliation. But it’s a trap. You take her piece in a way she can’t defend against.
  209. >And again.
  210. >And again.
  211. >This continues for 3 minutes.
  212. >And she’s left in utter defeat.
  213. >”How could I have lost at the one game I’m best at?! Nobody’s beaten me before.”
  214. >Before you know it the griffons have gathered at your table.
  215. >”Whoa, that’s amazing!” The feminine-voiced griffon to your left says.
  216. >”Who is he?” The gruffy griffon next to Ebola asks.
  217. “I’m Anon, a human. It’s nice to meet you.”
  218.
  219. >”Nice to meet ya too. You’re more polite than I’d take ya fer.” The third griffon says. He looks similar to the gruffy one, but has a bit of an accent.
  220. >He continues. “This here’s Hyde, his wife Ronnie, and I am Tuck. We’re pretty well-known out Appaloosa-way.”
  221. “Oh yeah? What are you in here for, if I may ask?”
  222. >The sweet sounding female griffon answers with a smug expression.
  223. >”We’re a gang of criminals. We’ve pulled some of the biggest heists in history.”
  224. “Do you mean to tell me that you are Bonnie, Clyde, and Clyde’s brother Buck?”
  225. >”Who are they? There better not be some criminal wannabe’s trying to act like us!” says Hyde.
  226. >That’s when you realize, this might not be just a different planet somewhere in the universe…
  227. >...This might be an alternate universe.
  228. >You’ve got to ask Twilight about this.
  229.
  230. “I’m sorry, I spaced out. I’m sorry you got caught, I’m rather fond of cool thieves like yourselves.”
  231. >”W-w-wow! Nobody’s ever told us that before!” Ronnie spouts excitedly.
  232. >”Yeah. We tend to get spat on fer bein’ who we are. We’re just sick of all the bureauocracy.” Buck agrees.
  233. “That’s unfortunate. Well, if you feel like talking again, let me know. Everyone needs an ally.”
  234. >They smile and bid you farewell, and you’re left alone with a frustrated pink succubus.
  235. >You get up from your small stool and run your hand gently through her mane.
  236. “Are you okay, Love?”
  237. >”I’m fine, thanks for asking!” She says with a puffy, mad face.
  238. >She’s obviously not fine.
  239. >You know what might cheer up a fussy pony.
  240. >You pick her up and put her on your shoulders again.
  241. >”Wah! What are you doing, Anon!”
  242. >She struggles, but you’re going to be stubborn and deal with this in the way you know is best.
  243. >You brace her, then run out the door.
  244. >Obviously everyone in the room was shocked by this.
  245. >So are the other creatures run by in the grassy area.
  246. >You run about to the right wing and shout “WOOHOO!”
  247. >The guard you just passed doesn’t even stop you, he’s speechless.
  248. >And before you know it, you’ve made it to your cell in a panting, tired mess.
  249. >”Ha… ha… we made it...”
  250. >You carefully go through the door, so as to provide clearance for the pony on your back, and walk towards the hay bed.
  251. >”Y-you idiot, everyone saw that!” She says, smack you on the head with her hoof as you put her down.
  252.
  253. “Sorry, Love. I totally deserved that.”
  254. >”W-well, as long as you get it.” She stutters.
  255. >You fall into your haybed and let out a happy sigh.
  256. “Well, hear me out, okay? You promised you would if I won.”
  257. >She grumbles, but lays next to you obediently with a blushing expression.
  258. >She’s such a Tsundere.
  259. “You can’t have any children as a succubus since you sap the magical energy of beings, right?”
  260. >She cocks her head in curiosity. “Yes, why do you ask?”
  261. “Did you know that my race doesn’t have magical energy to begin with?”
  262. >She is visibly taken aback.
  263. >”Huh? No way! Even Earth ponies and minotaurs have magic, that’s what makes them physically strong!”
  264. “Magic doesn’t even exist in my world. We have to solve problems by out own willpower.”
  265. >She’s amazed, more fascinated than I am by the fact that this whole world is attuned with magic.
  266.
  267. “I suppose I can tell you more about my world before I tell you of my request.”
  268. >She nods in excitement.
  269. >You tell her of how the Earth and the world formed by the magic that you’d call biology.
  270. >How human society began and reached the point of the modern.
  271. >And how you fit in as part of the society. All with delicacy, so as not to frighten the poor mare.
  272. >She shuffle her front hooves in amusement as you tell her about the world you somewhat miss.
  273. >Then you realize that you don’t miss it as much as you thought you would. You’re surprised by your self.
  274. >”Anon, you’ve stopped talking.”
  275. “Oh, I’m sorry, Love. That’s all I will tell you for now. It’ll give you something to look forward to.”
  276. >You tell her with a smile. And you brace yourself for your bold request.
  277. “Lovestruck, I want to ask you something that’s probably impossible.
  278. >She appears worried. “What is it, Anon?”
  279. “I’m going to be honest. Would you like me to be the father of your children?”
  280. >Fuck, you said it.
  281. >You went and said it. Your heart has descended into your bowels and your spaghetti is splattering all over the floor.
  282. >She stops looking into your eyes, and looks down where you can’t see her face well.
  283. >You’re totally fucked. You jumped the gun. Why did you do that? You are such a goddamn Autist.
  284. >”Y-yes… if… if you want to...”
