- >The Elements destroyed your vacuum.
- >Your last bastion of joy, the final distraction from your ever slipping sanity.
- >They took it from you without remorse.
- >What they didn't know was that vacuum had a brother.
- >And he's angry.
- >Day Leaf Blowers Revenge, The Reckoning.
- >Slipping from branch to branch as you stalk the prey beneath you, you cradle your friend in your arms.
- >She's noticed you now.
- >Of course, you made sure that she got good and lost out here, before you made your presence known.
- >A few seconds of your friends growling here, a sudden gust of air from seemingly nowhere there, and she was running around blindly like a foal.
- >Finally, you see what you've been waiting for.
- >She's getting tired.
- >Picking up your pace, you run her down in a a matter of minutes.
- >She isn't able to endure such physical exertion, and collapses from all that she's been forced through.
- >In a grove of white flowers, under the shadows of the Everfree, the pale yellow of her coat stands out brilliantly.
- >A flock of black birds perch in the branches above her, and stare down with cold eyes as you land in front of her huddling form.
- >Looking up to you in terror, she begins begins to tremble violently as tears form in the corners of her eyes.
- >"A-Anonymous... I'm S-sorry, please..."
- Shhh... No tears...
- >The black birds launch away from the trees, and into the sinking sun in a mass of undulating black, as the sound of a leaf blower blends with a scream in perfect cascading harmony.
- >Be Rarity, and obviously fabulous.
- >Trotting over to you dear friend Fluttershys' cottage, you hold back the apprehension that is nagging the back of your mind.
- >It makes you want to move a little more quickly, but you don't want to look like you're in a state of panic.
- >That would be terribly uncouth.
- >It's just that Fluttershy never misses her spa appointments without first giving notice.
- >And from talking with the other girls, you understand that she hasn't been seen for days.
- >Applejack meets you a few in front of your destination, a look of worry etched onto her face.
- Hello, Applejack. How are you doing today, darling?
- >"Ah'll be a lot better if we can get Fluttershy sorted out. She's been missin' all kinds'a appointments with pones, and that just sounds mighty unlike her."
- Well, have you knocked?
- >"Course Ah did, Ah've been out here fer 15 minutes."
- >As she says this, you hear sounds coming from inside the cottage.
- >Something that is eerily similar to...
- >But that can't be...
- >"Do yah... Hear that...?"
- Fluttershy!
- >Taking control of her emotions, Applejack bucks the door to the cottage open, and we swiftly gallop to the aid of our friend.
- >But we were too late.
- >Laying in the corner of the room and sobbing uncontrollably is Fluttershy.
- >Her mane swept straight backwards as if she were exposed to a hurricane.
- >And underneath the open window of her room, a message is written in fallen dead leaves.
- >You're next.
- >To be continued maybe
- >You watch through slits of a closet door as the elements of Generosity and Honesty attempt to comfort their hysterical friend.
- >There will be no comfort for her, not anymore.
- >No night that passes without waking in a cold sweat, checking under the bed for the boogeyman that she now knows is very, very real.
- >Feeling a hitch in your own heavy, labored breathing, you bite your lip and stifle a shudder of ecstasy thinking back to fun you two had.
- >Her mane will never flow naturally again.
- >"Do you think it's him? Applejack, this can't be happening, we... I thought we made sure... Oh dear Fluttershy, what has he done to you...?"
- >"We need tah get her some help, Rar'. Somethin' plain terrible must'a happened here."
- >Worriedly, the orange mare tosses Fluttershy over her back and begins to head to the door.
- >Stroking your friend slowly, affectionately, your eyes narrow on the apple farmer.
- >Oh, if only she knew. Soon...
- >Those strong back legs, body toned from a life of physical labor.
- >But a purely physical contest wouldn't be much fun, hmmm?
- >You contemplate getting the drop on her and ending it quickly. After all, you're only human, and she could put up quite a fight if you give her the opportunity.
- >But she wouldn't. They never do.
- >Dark plans begin to formulate, echos of the unfortunate souls who had already met a terrible fate at your hands, falling like snow against the vaults of your mind.
- >As her friends escort poor little Fluttershy from the room, she locks eyes with you and you grin back maliciously.
- >Her crying intensifies, and she begins to mumble incoherently as she stares at your hiding spot until she is beyond your range of vision.
- >Hearing the door downstairs, and the sound of pones galloping, you wait until you are sure they're a good distance away before you slip out of the closet.
- >Turning around, you look down to the small wind swept rabbit sitting on the closet floor as he blankly stares forward as though comatose.
- >With a low chuckle, you close the closet door and begin your trek to Sweet Apple Acres.
- >There is much work to be done.
- >Walkin' back from Twis' place after dropping off a slightly calmer Fluttershy, ya keep yer trademark Stetson lowered over yer eyes.
- >It makes ya a bit ashamed ta say, but you just ain't the best pone fer the job of makin' a mare feel comfortable.
- >But ya do know one job that yer suited for just fine.
- >Bright an' early tomorrow, you were gonna go find Anonymous, and he was gonna pay for whatever it was he did.
- >As ya parted with a distraught Rarity on the path out'a town, ya try ta give her a bit a' reassurance.
- You be real careful now, sugarcube. I'll drop by tomorrow ta see how yer holdin' up.
- >"You as well, darling. I feel a bit uncomfortable being by myself just now, so I believe I will see if Pinkie Pie would be willing to host me for the night."
- >Givin' a nod, ya set off towards home.
- >Walkin' through the gate ta good ol' Sweet Apple Acres, ya take in the scenery that never gets old.
- >The settin' sun casts a comforting glow over yer home, while the smell of apples gently rises to yer nostrils.
- >In the distance, ya can hear Big Mac finishin' the last of his buckin' for tha day.
- >Trottin' up to the door of yer house/barn, ya feel a wave of uneasiness take hold.
- >You would normally hear Applebloom makin a ruckus by now...
- >Puttin' a little pep in yer step, ya walk through the door an call out nervously.
- Ah'm back ya'll, anything cookin'?
- >Gettin' no response, you rush into the kitchen expectin' the worst.
- >Ya give a sigh of relief as ya see Granny Smith gently rockin' in her chair, facin' the window.
- Dad nab it granny, ya darn near gave me a heart attack!
- >Yer ears slowly fall and you scuff the floor worriedly as you get no response.
- ...Granny...?
- >Slowly trottin' over, ya pass by her side and turn yer head to her.
- >There is no way a' describin' the horror that overcomes you.
- G...Granny no...
- >Her wrinkles are stretched and blown back, in a grotesque mockery of how a pone face should look.
- >Feeling tears come to yer eyes, you back away from what used to be yer Granny Smith, an' give a heart wrenching sob.
- >"*snort*Huh, whazat!?"
- >Jumpin' back in a sudden fright, ya see Granny look around before her face sags back to it's usual look.
- Granny, what the hay!
- >"Eeh? What'rya prattlin on about?"
- >The relative silence of the farmstead is suddenly ripped apart by a shrill scream.
- Applebloom!
- >Gallopin' outa the house, ya start ta move through the trees in the direction ya heard the scream comin form.
- >Reachin' the top of a large hill overlookin' a majority of the farm, ya stop ta catch yer breath and look around.
- >As ya lean against the tree at the top of the hill, ya see a red ribbon float by on tha wind and off into tha' distance.
- Applebloom, where are ya...
- >Lookin' down as a lone tear trails down yer cheek, ya catch notice of the leaves beginning to fall from above.
- W-what in the...
- >Slowly bringin' yer gaze up the tree, ya see somethin' that ya had hoped would only visit yer nightmares.
- >"Hello, Applejack."
- >Ya thought you would track em' down, but ya never thought on what ya would do when ya did.
- >Backin' up with a terrified expression, you remember why you came.
- You! What did ya do to Fluttershy!? And where's mah sister!?
- >He laughs to himself in the way that always sent shivers up yer spine as he jumps down from the branch he was sittin on.
- >"Let me show you."
- >Pointin' a long tube attached to some kinda fancy electronic at ya, ya hear a terrible whine of air as Anonymous cackles madly.
- >And then nothin'.
