[22:34]	`GM	The Place: A lovely and picturesque city on the California coast, away from the hustle and bustle of such metropolitan megaliths as San Francisco or Los Angeles, though perhaps not so far away as to be irrelevant…
[22:35]	`GM	The Scene: 11 P.M. An unassuming 7-11 convenience store away from the main drag of the body of the city. The parking lot is empty and the neon lights overhead hum annoyingly. A pair of high-school girls browse the isles inside the store; quite an odd occurrence for a school night…
[22:38]	Miaka	is grabbing an armful of energy drinks as she browses through the fridge
[22:39]	Ashley	chases a cat around outside the store, trying to catch it so she can convert it to the kingdom of God.
[22:41]	`GM	[The cat is an ardent agnostic and most likely wishes no part in the messages of crazy missionaries]
[22:41]	Tiara	carefully browse what she will be eating for the next couple of days. Canned mackerel, milk coffee, dried meat, and 4-hours energy. She slowly pick all sort of stuff into the basket she's holding while trying to stay out of sight with her hoodie on.
[22:41]	Tiara	then tugs on Miaka's sleeve, presenting the overflowing basket to her sister with a debit card on top of it.
[22:41]	Tiara	...
[22:42]	Ashley	is determined to convert the non-believer! She pulls her backup vial of holy water from her pyjama pocket and starts to splash it on the cat.
[22:44]	`GM	[The cat is agitated at this profuse dogma! It hunches up and glares unholy daggers at the girl!]
[22:45]	Miaka	heads up to the counter with their stuff and pays easily.
[22:45]	`GM	Agnosticat: Khssss!
[22:46]	Ashley	is awed by the determination of the Agnosticat! She pulls out a mini-crucifix and attmpts to use it as a peace offering.
[22:48]	Tiara	pull the hoodie down to cover her face even more.
[22:48]	`GM	[The cashier is of a typical variety. Male, late teens or early twenties. Facial blemishes. Stubbly stubble. Likely no collegiate prospects. Likely doesn't want to be here at all]
[22:48]	`GM	Stubbly Dude: "S'that all?"
[22:49]	Miaka	nods affirmatively
[22:49]	`GM	[Stubbly Dude looks skeptically at Tiara but says nothing.]
[22:49]	`GM	Stubbly Dude: "Do you, like, want cash back?"
[22:50]	`GM	[Agnosticat does not know what to make of the proffered holy symbol. Is it a good thing, or a bad thing?]
[22:51]	Miaka	No thanks!
[22:52]	`GM	[Stubbly Dude hands Miaka her receipt and goes back to not really caring about life.]
[22:52]	Ashley	waits a second, wondering why the wild Agnosticat refuses the bait. She then has an idea, and reaches into her other pyjama pocket.
[22:53]	Ashley	HOOOLY KITTY FLAKES!
[22:53]	Ashley	sprinkles cat nip on the mini crucifix and smiles confidently.
[22:55]	Miaka	takes Tiara's hand and heads outside, bag of snacks in her arm
[22:55]	`GM	[The cat darts away in panic as it sees strange things thrown at it, before it has a change to experience the holy wonderment of drugs given to it by a stranger.]
[22:56]	Tiara	obediently let herself being led out. The only person in this whole world she'd probably obey is the one holding her hand right now...
[22:56]	Tiara	...
[22:57]	Ashley	chases after the cat, desperately throwing cat nip in front of her as she runs.
[22:57]	Miaka	watches the girl running away chasing the cat.
[22:59]	Tiara	Mii...
[23:00]	Tiara	, with voice even quieter than the wind itself, call out for her sister with the shortened name only her will use. She tugged Miaka's hand, expressing her need of not dillydallying and going home as soon as possible. Go to where she can relax and be secure...
[23:01]	`GM	[The cat seems a little confused, perhaps by the lingering smell of the catnip, and runs strange curves around the parking lot rather than running straight away.]
[23:01]	Miaka	giggles and tilts her head towards Tiara.
[23:01]	Miaka	We are... I just wanna watch this for a little. It's funny.
[23:02]	Ashley	chases after the cat, following its strange curvy run
[23:04]	`GM	[The cat eventually slows down near the other two girls and starts appreciating the catnip, playing around with it as cats are wont to do.]
[23:04]	Miaka	is bemused as the cat stops near her, stooping down to pet the kitty and scratch it behind the ears.
[23:05]	Tiara	...
[23:05]	Tiara	just stay behind and look. She doesn't express any enmity towards it, however. It's just an animal.
[23:09]	Ashley	runs up to the cat, breathing heavily, and falls to her knees.
[23:09]	Ashley	pats the cat's head and lets out a huge sigh.
[23:09]	Miaka	is crouching down to pet the cat, so is about eye-level with the strange girl.
[23:09]	Miaka	Hey, you ok there?
[23:12]	Tiara	took three steps backwards.
[23:15]	Ashley	nods, a little winded and not ready to talk right away. She gathers her breath and then says-
[23:15]	Ashley	"I am, it's just that this little fella runs really fast."
[23:16]	`GM	[Agnosticat is not running very fast anymore, though~]
[23:17]	Ashley	rubs the cat's head again, and then picks him up. She stares straight into his eyes, thinking.
[23:21]	Miaka	What, is he your cat or something?
[23:23]	Ashley	shakes her head.
[23:24]	Ashley	I think he's a stray.
[23:24]	Miaka	So are you like a vet or something?
[23:26]	Ashley	No, it's just that I saw that cat running around when I was about to go to bed, and I couldn't just let the poor thing wander around lost.
[23:31]	Miaka	smiles and nods and picks the cat up into her arms, handing the bag of snacks to Tiara to hold
[23:32]	Tiara	take care of the package.
[23:40]	`GM	[The cat, despite being in the throes of catnip, senses one of those strange things that only cats can sense, and suddenly jumps out of Ashley's arms and dashes wildly off into the night in a panic.]
[23:41]	Ashley	watches it run away, dismayed.
[23:43]	`GM	[Above, anyone looking skyward might notice a starry light in the sky getting slightly brighter. And slightly larger…]
[23:44]	Miaka	Oh... there it goes. Probably headed home.
[23:45]	Ashley	pouts. She wanted to keep that cat and name it something like Charlemagne.
[23:49]	Tiara	Eh...?
[23:50]	Tiara	sees the stars literally come crashing down at them. At first she thinks it's sorta weird, then it's disturbing, and then very disturbing, and after that it gets to the point where she needs to tell Miaka about it.
[23:51]	Tiara	Mii..! We gotta go..!
[23:51]	Miaka	...what? What's wrong all of a sudden?
[23:51]	`GM	[There is little time to say very much; the “light” suddenly impacts upon the ground just a few meters away from them!]
[23:51]	Tiara	tugs on Miaka's sleeve with more force than she usually do. Her eyes gazes upward with obvious distress marked all over her face.
[23:52]	Miaka	!!
[23:52]	`GM	[There is, strangely, no force of impact or flash of light as it hits the ground.]
[23:52]	Tiara	---!?
[23:52]	Ashley	snaps out of her cat depression and notices the cosmic depression nearby,.
[23:52]	Miaka	reels a bit in reaction, but stays on her feet.
[23:53]	Ashley	's mouth falls open as she stares at the strange light.
[23:53]	`GM	[In fact, even the "light" is not a light anymore. In the dim neon of the 7-11, it looks like a pure white beach ball-sized sphere, just sitting there.]
[23:53]	Miaka	What... is that...?
[23:55]	Ashley	sits down and shuts up.
[23:56]	Tiara	I don't know...
[23:58]	`GM	[The sphere doesn't roll around or really do anything at all.]
[00:01]	Tiara	, filled with curiosity, slowly reaches for the glowing sphere...
[00:01]	Miaka	Wait, Tiara, don't-!
[00:01]	Ashley	slaps the sphere with her mini crucifix.
[00:01]	Miaka	rushes forward, trying to stop her sister!
[00:01]	Ashley	The power of Christ compels you!
[00:02]	`GM	[Tiara, while she reached, felt no heat or any strangeness emanating from the sphere.]
[00:04]	Tiara	Ah-
[00:05]	`GM	[Upon striking the sphere, it cracks and splits open as easily as an eggshell. The "shell" falls apart, but large pieces of it rest upon something that must have been inside of it. It's still mostly obscured by the shell, but looks greyish.]
[00:06]	Ashley	A... An alien...?
[00:07]	Miaka	stands there staring at it, holding her sister back from having touched it.
[00:09]	Tiara	squeeze her sister's hand tight.
[00:10]	`GM	[The grey thing wiggles slightly and knocks most of the shell off of it. It looks vaguely draconic with brown wings, a thick tail, and a single brown horn, but it is overall difficult to describe in words. It seems to be sleeping.]
[00:10]	`GM	[http://www.freewebs.com/jigs-wanderer/coobie.png Behold the terrible monster.]
[00:10]	Ashley	squeezes her mini-crucifix tight
[00:11]	Miaka	KYAAAAH-!
[00:12]	Miaka	is freaked out enough to yell out loud.
[00:12]	Ashley	swallows her fear as a single bead of sweat slides down her cheek, and slooowly pulls out another vial of holy water from her pyjama pocket.
[00:13]	Ashley	Begone, demon of hell!
[00:13]	Ashley	splashes the holy water on the abomination.
[00:13]	Tiara	is not the type to yell out, but is the type to bolt at the first sight of problems. Again, she tugs on her sister's arm, hurrying her to get the hell out of here. This is not the thing she should get herself into. Not the thing ANYONE should get into.
[00:15]	`GM	[The water causes the thing to rustle even more, and wakes it up. It squints its electric-blue eyes, and tries to get to its feet. As its feet are much larger than its arms, this is not much of a problem]
[00:15]	`GM	[The thing seems to be confused, and looks around strangely at where it is.]
[00:16]	Ashley	watches intently, holding her breath.
[00:17]	Miaka	What the hell is that thing...?!
[00:22]	`GM	[To those who happen to takes their eyes off the strange creature for more than a moment, they notice that something is not… right, with the distant surroundings. Buildings, trees, pavement… They seem too “shiny”, as if coated with a sheet of plastic wrap. In the darkness it’s hard to tell—it may be a trick of the light--but there is definitely something off.]
[00:23]	Tiara	I don't know, but RUN!
[00:23]	`GM	[The creature seems to have gotten its bearings and starts looking at the girls. Its expression is wholly unreadable, like an animal's, though it seems intelligent.]
[00:24]	Tiara	is not even trying to hide her fear anymore. She want OUT. and NOW. Possibly with her sister, but if the situation goes even more south she could settle for just her safety...!
[00:26]	`GM	[The thing speaks, in a stuttering and pausing kind of way. The voice is high-pitched without piercing the ears.]
[00:26]	Thing	"This... no, this... it's not right."
[00:27]	`GM	[It looks at Miaka for no particular reason.]
[00:27]	Thing	"What is this?"
[00:30]	`GM	[It looks at its tiny claws and flexes them, poking its arm in some sort of curiosity.]
[00:30]	Tiara	run... run...!
[00:30]	Tiara	RUN!
[00:31]	`GM	[The thing looks at Tiara now, responding to her shouts.]
[00:31]	Miaka	is pulled away by her sister, soon falling in step with her as she can find no reason to question her older sister's judgement.
[00:31]	Tiara	muster all of her force to drag Miaka away from the freak of nature with human speech. She runs to the opposite side of it, and never look back. All while keeping tight grip on Miaka's arm.
[00:32]	Thing	"Why... are you running...?"
[00:33]	Tiara	doesn't even bother answering.
[00:33]	`GM	[The sisters leave the creature behind without a second thought, and though it looks back it does nothing to stop them.]
[00:58]	`GM	[The sisters are now out of the parking lot, and begin to notice that suddenly, everything in front of them looks like it's made of colored glass. Everything FEELS normal, but it looks anything but.]
[00:58]	Miaka	slowly comes to a stop as her eyes go wide, looking at everything around them.
[00:58]	Miaka	...T-Tiara...
[00:59]	Tiara	kneels down, panting heavily like a weak person she is.
[01:00]	Tiara	*haah*... *haah*...
[01:01]	Miaka	What's happening...?
[01:01]	Miaka	holds tight to her sister, now seemingly the only 'real' thing that she can see.
[01:01]	`GM	[Behind them, near Ashley and the thing, the ground and storefront appear perfectly normal. A closer look shows that the "glassiness" seems to increase in potency based on the distance from the creature.]
[01:04]	`GM	[The creature (and Ashley) approaches the sisters, walking awkwardly towards them, and the "normalcy" follows it until they are standing on plain grass again.]
[01:04]	Miaka	hugs her sister tight.
[01:04]	Miaka	Tiara... are we dreaming...? We're dreaming, right...?
[01:05]	`GM	[The thing seems not to care that Miaka is talking.]
[01:05]	Thing	"Why did you run? What, what is this?"
[01:05]	Tiara	does the same. Though at first she thinks of throwing herself at the thing out of sheer desperation, but the comfort of Miaka helps her calm down a bit.
[01:05]	Thing	"I don't understand."
[01:05]	Tiara	can only shakes her head. She doesn't know A THING.
[01:08]	`GM	[It pokes at Miaka's leg, try to get someone to talk to it.]
[01:08]	Miaka	KYAAA-! DON'T TOUCH ME-!
[01:09]	Miaka	kicks it as hard as she can!
[01:11]	`GM	[The thing is surprisingly easy to kick and goes tumbling away, though at the same time this brings the girls back into Glassland.]
[01:11]	Tiara	put herself between the thing and her sister, glaring directly into its eyes without saying anything. At first there is obvious enmity, but soon it slowly fades into a curious stares.
[01:11]	Tiara	I...
[01:11]	Tiara	I think it's rather... harmless?
[01:12]	Miaka	is now hiding behind her big sister, in a reversal of usual roles.
[01:12]	`GM	[It picks itself back up and shakes away its dizziness. It eyes the pair cautiously, not desiring another kick.]
[01:14]	Thing	"Don't do that; I didn't like that."
[01:15]	Thing	"What's wrong? Tell me what's wrong."
[01:15]	Tiara	gulps. She is trying to do things most people considered as lunacy, here. But why not? The world is already gone past lunacy point as it is;
[01:16]	Tiara	You are... strange.
[01:16]	Tiara	And you can be dangerous.
[01:17]	`GM	[The thing remembers the kick it was just given.]
[01:17]	Thing	"You are, also strange... and dangerous."
[01:18]	Thing	"Does this mean we are the same?"
[01:20]	`GM	[It sits down on perfectly normal grass, unlike the perfectly abnormal glass the girls are forced to have.]
[01:21]	Tiara	...
[01:21]	Tiara	does not want to answer some rhetorical question.
[01:21]	Tiara	Our shape is not the same.
[01:22]	`GM	[It looks at its arms and feet, then over at Tiara.]
[01:23]	Thing	"It is not. You are very tall."
[01:23]	Miaka	can't take this anymore and yells out again.
[01:23]	Miaka	I JUST WANNA GO HOME!
[01:23]	`GM	[It cocks its head to the side.]
[01:24]	Thing	"Why are you... shouting? What's wrong?"
[01:25]	Thing	"Is something not right?"
[01:27]	Tiara	is cool like ice. Part of it is to be a support for her sister, and part of it knowing that being angry and shouting wouldn't help. Being silence wouldn't help either. She doesn't know how to break this stalemate. Chatting with this dragon-hybrid thing is not the sane thing to do, but she doesn't know which way to go on anymore...
[01:27]	Tiara	might as well...
[01:27]	Tiara	You dropped from the sky. Everything around us turned into stained glass. Those are wrong.
[01:28]	Tiara	Wrong, as in 'doesn't normally happen'.
[01:28]	Tiara	speaks more than a week's worth now.
[01:29]	Thing	"I know what wrong means. I know what many things mean!"
[01:30]	`GM	[It looks closer at the glassy world, and then over at the aura of normalcy it seems to occupy.]
[01:30]	Thing	"It is wrong over there, but it's not wrong over here."
[01:30]	Miaka	Then why is everything not normal anymore?!
[01:31]	Miaka	This is all YOUR fault! Everything was fine before you came crashing down!
[01:31]	Miaka	points accusingly at the dragon-thing
[01:31]	Thing	"Crashing down...? Dropped from the sky..."
[01:31]	Tiara	can't help but nods.
[01:32]	`GM	[The thing thinks inwardly for a moment.]
[01:32]	Miaka	Why are you doing this?! Why us?!
[01:32]	Thing	"Where... Where is this?"
[01:33]	Miaka	STOP ASKING US QUESTIONS! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CAUSED THIS!
[01:33]	Miaka	is losing her patience!
[01:33]	`GM	[It ignores their questions and substitutes its own]
[01:33]	Thing	"You're shouting again. Why do you shout often?"
[01:34]	Miaka	BECAUSE I'M SCARED-!
[01:34]	Miaka	buries her face in her sister's shoulder, fed up with the entire situation.
[01:34]	Thing	"Scared... What are you scared of?"
[01:34]	Tiara	sees the wreck that is her sister, and decide to do something.
[01:35]	Tiara	grit her teeth, summoning her inner hate and channel it through her speech.
[01:35]	Tiara	Shut up.
[01:35]	Tiara	YOU must explain. not US.
[01:35]	Tiara	Now explain.
[01:36]	`GM	[It looks at Tiara intently; respectfully. It thinks about how to answer.]
[01:36]	Thing:	"...What, must I explain? I don't understand."
[01:38]	Tiara	Do it anyway.
[01:38]	Tiara	is very, very fed up with this bickering-back-and-forth question festival.
[XX:XX] `GM	[As were the players at this point, abruptly ending the session in order to rework certain aspects of the game and promote team synergy.]
