  1. >"Um... I'm so s-sorry to bother, but, may I come in?"
  2. >Move aside from the door.
  3. "No, no. Come on in."
  4. >She does.
  5. >Hear a grumbling sound as she walks past you.
  6. "Is, everything alright?"
  7. >"O-oh, th-that's kind of... why I'm here."
  8. >She points at your wall.
  9. >Look over to see the clock.
  10. ?See that it's din-din time.
  11. "Ah, say no more. I can cook something up. Just head ti the kitchen, I'm sure you'll know where it is."
  12. >"T-thank you..."
  13. >She walks into the kitchen and sits on a chair.
  14. >Follow along and head for white freeze rectangle.
  15. >Look inside refrigerator.
  16. >See there's nothing, but vegetables.
  17. >Use most of it (preferably lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, asparagus, eggplant.)
  18. >Dice them.
  19. >Pour them all into a boiling water on the stove.
  20. >Add some spice. (Parsley flakes and cilantro.)
  21. >Stir for 10 minutes.
  22. >Turn off the stove and let it cool.
  23. >While it does, head for the cabinets to get out a pair of bowls.
  24. >Take them out and set them beside the stove.
  25. >"Do you need help?"
  26. >Look over to the table.
  27. >She isn't there.
  28. >Feel a light tap on your leg.
  29. >Look down and see that she's tugging on your jeans.
  30. "Yeah, just hold a bowl out."
  31. >She hovers and gets a bowl.
  32. >Get a ladle.
  33. >Dip it in and scoop up your creation.
  34. "Just tell me when to stop."
  35. >Pour it into her bowl.
  36. >"T-that's enough."
  37. >See that it's only half full.
  38. "Please, Flutters. You must be starving. You can have more."
  39. >Keep on pouring.
  40. >"N-no, it's fine. Really."
  41. >Stop to see it's barely three-fourths full.
  42. "Alright then."
  43. >Set it aside on the counter and see her flutter off.
  44. >Get our own bowl, pour some soup, and head for the dining table.
  45. >Sit beside her.
  46. "So?"
  47. >"Um, there's no spoons."
  48. >Nice job, fuckwit.
  49. "Right, my bad."
  50. >She faintly giggles as you get up.
  51. >Get the spoons drying on the rack.
  52. >Head back and hand her a spoon.
  53. "Here, sorry for my stupidity."
  54. >She takes it into her hooves.
  55. >It doesn't slide out.
  56. >Fucking magic.
  57. >"Aw, don't say that. You're just silly, that's all."
  58. >The both of you laugh and eat.
  59. "Anyway, how are the animals?"
  60.
  61. >For most of dinner, the talk was nothing but her animals.
  62. >Wasn't even a talk, more like a autobiography of her and the woodland critters she nurtures.
  63. >Many of them are fine.
  64. >Some are wounded by a new rose bush near the Everfree Forrest.
  65. >And Angel... still the brat he is.
  66. >Refusing to eat his salad.
  67. >Good thing Flutters is able to take a stand.
  68. >Such a shame it doesn't work all the time.
  69. >"That was delicious, you must tell me your recipe."
  70. "Ah, ah, ah. One can't reveal his ingredients."
  71. >"Aww poo. I'll just keep on coming in a while to keep on trying it."
  72. "Seems like you will."
  73. >Look over to the kitchen clock above the stove.
  74. >It's 8:30
  75. >"Oh no, I must go!"
  76. >She gets up and heads for the door.
  77. >Hear a slam.
  78. >Fluttershy forgot to get it unlocked.
  79. >Head out of the kitchen and to the front door.
  80. >She her laying down with a silly face.
  81. "You should start remembering about that lock."
  82. >She rubs her head as she gets up.
  83. "Let me guess, you need to feed them too?"
  84. >She nods.
  85. >Unlock the door and open it.
  86. >"Same time tomorrow? If, that's fine with you."
  87. >You chuckle.
  88. "Yeah, sure. I'll get some ingredients. You're really running me dry here."
  89. >She kicks the ground a little with a downcast expression.
  90. "Don't worry about it. I like company. You should go on home and take care of them. I'll see you tomorrow."
  91. >Waive to her as she picks up her mood.
  92. >She runs down the path, while waiving a hoof to you.
  93. >"Same time tomorrow..,"
  94. >Whatever the rest of that sentence wasn't hearable, since she's far off.
  95. >She always does this part.
  96. >Too bad it's never been brought up by her.
  97. >You tried to, one time.
  98. >But for some reason, it made her too awkward.
  99. >She just made an "Um" and stirred her soup.
  100. >After that, it was just silent for the entire meal.
  101. >Maybe someday, she'll have enough courage to tell you.
