  3. [15:55] Salmander The pool is frozen over. He can feel it from across the pool.

  5. [15:55] ShadesO`Gray "Well...perhaps should have seen that coming," he says, killing his radio.
  6. [15:56] Salmander Snow covers' the pool at this point, but you can still see the red ice beneath.
  7. [15:57] ShadesO`Gray He shivers a bit now...fully aware he's probably walking directly into an emergence event alone and unsupported, but decides that it's probably for the best that way...he pauses a bit to study the pool, curious he wasn't aware the pool could freeze over.
  8. [15:58] Salmander A white face looks back at him, frozen in the ice. Its eyes are completely white

  10. [16:00] ShadesO`Gray He jumps startled a bit...but regains his composure...backing up a bit, can he trace the location of the voice yet?

  12. [16:01] ShadesO`Gray Walter considers the most direct root, before looking back to the face frozen in ice...mayhaps he should just walk around...

  17. [16:03] ShadesO`Gray "Well, nothing gained nothing ventured," he says stoically, paying the face no mind, he shoves his hands into his pocket, and goes for a bit of a walk across the frozen lake of blood.

  19. [16:04] Salmander The snow parts in circles in various places, faces appearing in each circle
  20. [16:04] Salmander Ok, Walter shoves his hands in the lake and goes for a walk across the pockets

  22. [16:05] ShadesO`Gray Walter ignores the faces, he's good at not letting things get to him, though he's perhaps regretting the rather implusive choice to walk across the red pool.

  24. [16:08] ShadesO`Gray He keeps his footing slow and deliberate, taking special care with each step, he looks down very little though...all the while feeling those dead white eyes all over him, he shudders a bit, but stifles it, blames it on the cold...all the while knowing better.

  26. [16:11] ShadesO`Gray He blinks...trying to get a better look at, whatever is over there, while at the same time crushing the impulse to hurry...yea tripping right now would be a very bad thing...

  28. [16:13] Salmander As he approaches he can see a shining Christmas star seated atop a very tall tree, visible over the canopy

  30. [16:14] Salmander The voice becomes mroe clear now. It's several voices. Small ones.
  31. [16:15] ShadesO`Gray He allows himself a bit of a faster walk at that, curiosity, outweighing reason...just what the hell is going on?
  32. [16:16] Salmander Through the foliage he can now see the different colours are christmas ornaments, adorning a gigantic tree
  33. [16:17] ShadesO`Gray "It's January I thought we were done with this crap..." he grumbles to himself, willing his breathing to calm...still have to take this seriously.
  34. [16:19] Salmander It's now only up a hill. The voices are individually audible. They range from high-pitched to baritone. They don't speak in unison, but they're chanting.
  35. [16:20] ShadesO`Gray Walter walks up the hill, fingering his side-arm a bit, he grits his teeth, as prepared for whatever awaits him as he's going to get...
  36. [16:21] Salmander It's a clearing. Very small figures are gathered about a ginormous Christmas tree in the center, holding hands in a circle and swaying.

  43. [16:26] Salmander The figures are small snowmen, no bigger than two feet. Snowmen is perhaps not the correct term. there's snow boys, snowgirls, snowmen, snowomen.
  44. [16:29] ShadesO`Gray "Okay...snow people, pulling a whoville in front of a giant Christmas Tree that I've never seen before..." says Walter, maintaining his steady pace into the clearing, "What does this have to do with me?"
  45. [16:30] Salmander As he speaks they all stop and simultaneously turn to look at him
  46. [16:31] ShadesO`Gray Walter freezes at that, breathing controlled, hand poised to rip his gun from the holster, he stays his hand for the moment...

  49. [16:32] Salmander "The saviour," says a snowoman, pushing her glasses up her carrot nose.
  50. [16:35] ShadesO`Gray "...could you perhaps be a bit more specific?" says Walter, though he has a lingering suspicion he knows who they're talking about...and then he realizes the snow people are talking, and that's the least strange thing about this whole encounter
  51. [16:36] Salmander A few snowmen crowd around Walter, circling him. "The tree we have set up does not wish to go, and we're trapped in this world.
  52. [16:37] Salmander "Oh saviour, we ask you to dismantle it, else we be trapped forever."
  53. [16:38] ShadesO`Gray "So you want me to tear down your Christmas tree...so you can leave?"

  191. [17:33] Salmander The angel falls over Walter's body as a rock thrown by a snowman breaks off the remainder of its ehad

  194. [17:33] Salmander The snowmen watch it as they fade away
  195. [17:33] Salmander Everything becomes quiet again
